Reporting to the Director of Fundraising, you will play a key supporting role within the fundraising team, assisting the Corporate Partnerships Manager and the Communications team. With a key aim of delivering agreed activity and growing income from corporate partnerships.
This role focuses on supporting the identification and recruitment of new regional, national and international corporate supporters, while also playing a lead role in managing and stewarding existing partnerships, with particular responsibility for communications activity and delivery of sponsorship activities and events.

About the role
As our Communications and Marketing Officer, you'll help bring the South East Rivers Trust's work to life. From restoring rivers and wetlands to engaging volunteers, schools and communities, you'll tell the stories behind our projects and help connect more people with the work we do.
This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. One day you might be creating social media content from a river restoration project, the next writing a newsletter, supporting a fundraising campaign, updating the website or helping promote a community event.

The Opportunity

About the role
We’re looking for experienced social media and communications professionals to join our freelance moderation team.
Our moderators support a range of charity partners, working across always-on activity as well as high-profile campaigns and appeals. You’ll act as the voice of each organisation — engaging with supporters, answering queries, and ensuring conversations are managed safely and effectively.
This role is well suited as a flexible, additional source of income. Most of our moderators are freelancers or consultants working alongside other roles.
Working pattern
Moderation takes place between 9am and 9pm, Monday to Sunday.
Rather than working in one continuous block, you’ll complete your hours in short check-ins across the day to maintain coverage and meet response time targets.
Each account is allocated a set number of ‘active moderation hours’ per day (e.g. 2-3 hours), which are spread across multiple sessions.
For example, 3 hours may be split into 5-6 check-ins throughout the day.
You must be able to:
Start moderation from 9am (or earlier)
Monitor activity throughout the day
Complete a final check before 9pm
Adhere to our sub-3-hour response time
Please note: In your first month, you will typically start on fewer accounts and hours (approx. 3 per day) while you get up to speed. Hours usually increase from month two onwards.

Digital Fundraising Officer - 12-month Maternity Cover
The Veterans' Foundation is entering its second decade with a clear ambition to build a more sustainable, diversified and data-led fundraising model. Following ten years of rapid growth driven primarily through lottery acquisition, the organisation is now evolving its approach to strengthen supporter engagement, improve retention and maximise fundraising performance across a wider range of income streams.
This role will play an important part in that transition. As the Foundation launches a new website, develops its use of Salesforce and strengthens its supporter communications, the Digital Fundraising Officer will help deliver effective digital fundraising and engagement activity across multiple channels. Principal Duties
The main duties of the Digital Fundraising Officer are:

Greyhound Rescue Wales (GRW) is Wales’ leading charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming greyhounds and lurchers. Founded in 1993, we have spent more than three decades championing the welfare of sighthounds and working towards our vision: a Wales without greyhound racing, where every greyhound and lurcher has a home and receives the best possible care.

To help us grow sustainably and strengthen our long‑term impact, we are now seeking to develop our fundraising team with the creation of a Trusts and Foundations Officer. This role will play a key part in increasing and diversifying our income, enabling us to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome even more dogs during this pivotal moment in our charity’s history.
Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Trusts & Foundations fundraiser who is ready to strengthen and diversify their experience, to work with small, medium and high-value funders, and to play a meaningful role within Greyhound Rescue Wales.
The Trusts and Foundations Officer is responsible for securing grants of varying sizes, translating all aspects of GRW’s work into compelling, high-quality applications for a diverse range of prospective funders.
As part of our Income Generation Team, you will work closely with the Head of Fundraising, Sponsorship & Individual Giving Officer and Community & Events Fundraiser to help deliver an annual income target of £400K+.
You’ll take ownership of a varied portfolio of trust and foundation relationships, building on warm funders while also researching and developing new prospects at the four-to six-figure level.

The Project Administrator & Support position has been created to support the Programme Managers with 1) management and engagement with our working partners, and 2) operational project support and administration across the organisation.
Key Tasks ● Provide logistical and administrative support to the BLF Programme Managers. This can include liaising with project partners and suppliers, booking transportation and project venues, communication with young people and ensuring relevant consents and permissions are obtained. ● Act as a point of contact and build good relationships with partners. ● Liaise with our Partners including social workers, foster carers, parents and accommodation providers and meet BLFs safeguarding commitments by ensuring all paperwork and consents are in place. ● Manage general enquiries and referrals coming through our website and the contact@ email ensuring these are directed to the appropriate team members in a timely manner. ● Data capture and monitoring: populating SalesForce campaigns and ensuring registers for all activities are kept up to date ● Provide planning and admin support for our Summer Programme, Refugee Week and End of Year celebrations, including booking venues and transportation, liaising with project partners and communications with stakeholders. ● Occasional in-person project delivery support might be required.

As Principal Policy Adviser (interim), you will collaborate with Uplift’s team and key partners to drive the design, development and delivery of work that generates influential policy and ideas addressing the challenges of a rapid and fair transition away from oil and gas production in the UK.
From proactively setting the agenda, to responding to policy announcements, to ensuring our team has a sound understanding of the future of the North Sea, this is a diverse role at the heart of our work pushing for a rapid and fair transition.
The successful candidate will have exceptional policy skills, an ability to think politically, and a keen interest in climate and energy-related policy and campaigns. A strong commitment to Uplift's mission and core values is also required.
This role is a 9 month long contract to cover a secondment within the team.
Core responsibilities will include:
Policy: Lead Uplift’s policy work, spearhead the development and testing of innovative policy initiatives, and identify and work through knowledge gaps relevant to Uplift’s strategy.
Coordination and Strategy Delivery: Work with teams to set and execute policy priorities, provide in-house policy support, contribute to the management of the Research Policy and LEgal Tea, and develop systems for quality assurance and knowledge management.
Advocacy and Network Support: Build capacity amongst other Uplift teams to understand the intersection of their work with policy topics and represent Uplift to policymakers and partner organisations.

Our ideal candidate will have:
Experience in a similar or related role.
Strong knowledge of UK climate and energy policy (direct expertise in just transition, fossil fuels or renewables would be a significant advantage).
Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information quickly and accurately and a demonstrable ability to provide compelling and novel analysis.
Exceptional writing and communication skills, with strong attention to detail and political nous.
Motivation, initiative, exceptionally high standards, a collaborative approach, and associated qualities are needed to work in a dynamic organisation with an ambitious agenda.

The Sands Insights Network is an online community of bereaved parents who want to use their experience and knowledge to shape Sands work to make maternity and neonatal care safer.
The Network sits within the Saving Babies Lives team which focusses on using evidence, including from parents, to drive improvements in maternity and neonatal safety. The Network also facilitates parents’ involvement in Sands policy and campaigning work, as well as external projects seeking to include people with experience of baby loss.
