We have an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing, Communications and Engagement team in a newly created Marketing Communications Officer role.
This role exists to support the planning and delivery of integrated, multi‑channel marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and impact across our Brand, Services and Fundraising activity. Working closely with the Senior Marketing Communications Officer and Marketing Communications Manager, you will play a key role in bringing campaigns to life across social media, email, web and paid channels.
You’ll be responsible for creating and coordinating content tailored to different platforms, ensuring campaigns are delivered consistently, on time and aligned to agreed objectives and KPIs. From drafting social content and email campaigns to updating website journeys and supporting paid activity, you’ll help deliver joined‑up campaigns that create a seamless experience for our audiences.
By supporting campaign execution and performance tracking across channels, you will help improve reach, engagement and conversion - ultimately ensuring more musicians and people in music can access our services and support.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have experience supporting or delivering multi‑channel marketing campaigns, with a strong understanding of how content and messaging adapts across social media, email and web. You’ll be confident creating and publishing content, and able to write clear, engaging and accessible copy tailored to different audiences and platforms.
Highly organised, you’ll be able to manage multiple campaign elements, deadlines and incoming requests, while maintaining excellent attention to detail. You’ll be comfortable using data from different channels (such as social, email and web metrics) to monitor performance and inform improvements.

As our new Communications and Campaigns Officer, you’ll bring your experience in digital communications to contribute towards making Possible’s work relevant, accessible and inspiring to key audiences. Working across the campaigns and communications teams, you’ll create exciting and engaging content which brings our work to life on digital platforms. You’ll have a good understanding of which platforms, tone and style are best suited to reach which audiences, and an eye for analytics, monitoring and evaluating what works, and adapting accordingly.
You’ll provide essential, day to day administrative support to our communications and campaigns teams through information sharing, calendar management and document preparation. In our small comms team, there is a lot of crossover between roles, so you will occasionally be asked to pitch into other functions such as web and press. At different times, you’ll provide support to our varied campaigns—from aviation to community energy to traffic reduction to electrical repair—offering you the chance to engage with a lot of different people, in a range of ways.
You’ll be invited to contribute to general marketing, media, outreach, fundraising and campaign strategy. And everyone at Possible helps out in the best ways they are able, by doing things like organising digital birthday cards, taking out the bins or the virtual equivalent, so there’s that too.
We usually work 9.30am-5.30pm but staff can use flexitime to work the hours that work for them depending on the day or request different standard hours.

This is an exciting senior position for an exceptional digital communications manager who wants to work for a high-impact campaigning NGO. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to lead and grow the digital channels of one of the UK’s leading rights NGOs. Big Brother Watch is a leading voice in the UK protecting privacy and free speech, and has a strong track record of successful campaigns that defend civil liberties in the UK. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Director and Head of Advocacy to build campaigns that respond to pressing threats to our freedoms. You’ll devise strategies to run successful digital campaigns including mass mobilisation; you’ll curate the supporter journey for our network of 100,000 email subscribers; you’ll manage and produce highly engaging content including long and short form videos and graphics for our social media channels; and you’ll lead our digital fundraising.
About you
The right candidate will have strong experience in a similar role and a proven track record in social media management, content/video production and digital fundraising.
You’ll have experience working across a range of digital channels, including social media and video, website CMS, and email marketing platforms such as MailChimp. We are looking for someone who will diligently uphold our brand identity and voice; who is self-motivated, resourceful, and a proactive team player. You will be flexible, able to work under pressure and thrive managing a busy and sometimes competing workload.

SUMMARY
Position Title: Head of Digital Organising & Communications
Level: Level 6
Salary: £40, 000 - 46, 000 (FTE yearly/depending on experience/salaries under review as part of our ongoing pay review process)
Reports to: Director of Organising and Campaigns
Location: Liberation centre Brixton, London (New office in Brixton)/ Remote working within the UK with at least 2 days’ work from our office (Pro rata for part time)
Contract: Fulltime (40hrs/weekly), fixed-term contract for 2 years with potential for Part time (e.g., 32hrs/weekly) options
Hours: TAA has flexible working hours, with some expected evenings (e.g., one 9pm finish once every two weeks) and weekends due to the nature of the role. All extra hours are reimbursed as Time off in Lieu (TOIL).

Young people are often the catalysts for major social change, from the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee at the heart of the Civil Rights Movement, to the Soweto Uprising mobilising young people to resist the apartheid regime's education policies, to the Sunrise Movement redrawing the electoral map across America, and more recently protests across the world protesting the genocide in Palestine. ABOUT THE ROLE
In a context of the rise of the far right, increasing inequality, and climate disaster, The Advocacy Academy is growing to meet this moment. As part of this, we are expanding our Organising and Campaigns Team, including recruiting an experienced Digital Organiser.
This person will lead the design and implementation of an ambitious digital organising approach, including building out our base online and supporting campaigns to amplify our message and deliver the tangible wins we are pushing for. The work will be supported by up to five of our ‘changemakers’ - young people who will be paid to support our digital organising alongside their other work or study.
