The Role
This is an exciting new position in our team, created to help build our case for investment, tell our story and harness the support of new audiences. You will develop and deliver a 3-year fundraising strategy that unlocks new opportunities, diversifies income and builds lasting funder relationships. With consultancy support on communications and evaluation, you’ll have the tools to make a powerful case for our work.

The NSPCC’s mission is to end cruelty to children by fighting for every childhood.
To carry out its charitable work the NSPCC relies on the fundraising support of
people across the UK for 90% of its income. Within Engagement and Fundraising
our aim is to provide maximum resources for the NSPCC, providing the best
possible supporter experience.
Mass Participation Fundraising is an important acquisition and income stream in
the NSPCC’s Engagement and Fundraising strategy, managing the delivery of a
portfolio of Third Party Events and Schools Fundraising products, as well as
stewarding supporters looking to do their own fundraising activity for the charity
(‘DIY’ fundraisers).
We are looking for a skilled Senior Marketing Officer, who will work across these
audience streams to coordinate marketing activity. This role will focus specifically
on marketing to mass audiences to reflect the breadth of audiences who take part
in Mass Participation Events. This includes parents, grandparents, professionals
who work with children, those with a personal connection to our charity, or simply
those who care deeply about children.

As an Acquisition Executive, you will play a pivotal role in growing our supporter base and driving income to ensure we can continue to provide our essential services. Purpose of the role
The Literacy Pirates is an educational charity working across the UK to develop the literacy, confidence and perseverance of children who are falling behind in school and have fewer opportunities in their personal lives.
