The role

This is more than a traditional Executive Assistant role.  You’ll act as a trusted partner, supporting strategic priorities and enabling effective decision-making. You’ll also play a key role in board and governance processes, helping to ensure senior leadership and trustees are fully supported to deliver organisational priorities.

Salary: £42,000 – £46,000
Location: London (Hybrid working – minimum 2 days per week in the office)
Hours: 35 hours per week – This charity are open to flexible working arrangements and would welcome discussions around alternative patterns, including compressed hours, a non-working day on a fortnightly basis, or other flexible options, depending on business and role holder needs.

About the Role

We are looking for Programme Governance Lead to manage and oversee the successful delivery of all programmes/projects within the Programmes Directorate by establishing and leading consistent governance and assurance. The postholder will strengthen programme governance, reporting and risk management ensuring programmes are delivered by agreed methodologies and in a consistent manner.

Key Responsibilities

As our Programme Governance Lead, you will:

• Define, implement and maintain an agreed methodology for programme/project lifecycle governance.
• Chair programme/project boards and ensuring decisions, and actions are documented and actioned.
• Identify risks, issues and dependencies which are not captured by Programme Portfolio Leads. Ensure consistent risk management across projects and programmes. Proactively identify cross-programme/project risks and issues (including those not visible to project/programme leads), implement mitigations, and escalate risks/issues to the Director of Programmes and COO as required. Assess programme/project risks against the NYA risk register and update the register accordingly.
• Produce and present monthly programme governance reports at the Directorate Programme Board, providing clear portfolio-level insight (milestones, deliverables, RAG status, KPIs, benefits, and financial/resource assumptions) to enable effective senior decision-making and assurance.
• Design and run governance routines (e.g., project start-up, weekly/monthly reviews, decision logs, change control) and support high-quality papers and actions for directorate governance forums; ensure timely escalation of material risks, issues and decisions to the COO.
• Support teams to evidence compliance with funder/contractual requirements; ensure appropriate documentation, approvals and version control are in place and accessible.
• Implement and maintain a robust lessons-learned process (during and post-delivery) and ensure findings are integrated into future programmes/projects through updated standards, templates, training and assurance checkpoints.

The Role

In this role, you will support the Director of Finance in providing a proactive, efficient, and highly effective finance service across the Diocesan board of finance and trust custodian company, as well as supporting the larger finance team who look after the Board of Education.

The role will include taking ownership of the budget and forecast for Board, running the month-end and reporting process and interacting with Heads of Department and key Diocese clergy in helping to run their day-to-day operations.  The role will also take the lead in managing the tax and statutory reporting, and appropriate training assistance will be made available as required.

You will play a key role within a Finance department totalling 9 staff.  The team have been through a time of change, including the introduction of a system 3 years ago that still requires some input to ensure it is being maximised in usefulness.

The Outrunners are a running and movement charity based in Hackney, on a mission to empower young people through movement. Backed by an incredible crew of volunteers and partner brands like Nike and Moju, we help young people in East London to build confidence, wellbeing, health and leadership skills.

We deliver free, fun, sociable, youth‑led running and movement sessions for 8–18 year olds every week - during term time and holidays. But we’re about more than just running. We create space for young people to explore creativity and culture, go on exciting trips, access wraparound wellbeing support, and develop the skills and opportunities they need to shape the futures they want.

Our achievements

We’re a small charity but we pack a mighty punch. Our income has grown year-on-year since we became a charity 6 years ago -  allowing us to expand our core team and move into office premises large enough to incorporate a Youth Hub. Last year we worked with over 1,150 young people through our school and communities programs, and this year we’re looking to expand our work even further!

To give you a sense of the kinds of work that we do, over the last year we have:

• Hosted a free Girls’ Festival for 100+ ethnically diverse young girls, allowing them to try running sessions, creative classes and yoga experiences in a safe and empowering environment.

• Hosted free training academies for ethnically diverse women and young people aged 16-21 to train for their very first half or full marathons! We offered physical, emotional and logistical support throughout their training journey and cheered on every single one of them as they ran either the Hackney Half or the London Marathon under the Outrunners name. Since programme launch, we have worked with over 250 people in our Academies.

• Took diverse groups of young people to races and events, such as Hackney School run and Black to the Trails. 

• Offered personalised mentoring to several of our young people who were struggling with school or life.

• Expanded the career horizons of young people by offering them a free work experience opportunity with our partner brands.

We are seeking an experienced fundraiser for a strategic and hands-on role who loves working in a small, ambitious charity and wants to help shape the next stage of growth at The Outrunners (current annual income circa £350k).

• Support the development of relationships with values‑aligned corporate partners and brands.

• Shape clear and inspiring partnership pitches with cases for support that connect partner goals with youth wellbeing, movement and equity.

• Support the growth of The Outrunners’ individual giving base, including regular and mid‑level donors, working with CEO and Admin Lead.

• Work with our Admin Lead to maintain accurate records across fundraising and income tracking systems (CRM).

This is a newly created, senior contract role at an exciting inflection point for CALM. We are building the analytics foundations that will underpin our long-term growth and impact.
 

You will help us embed our new Behaviour Change Framework and Measurement System into practice. And also help strengthen the organisation’s analytics maturity, ensuring our Azure data warehouse and Power BI reporting capabilities are fully utilised and embedded into decision-making.

This is a senior role, but it is also highly hands-on. We are a small organisation and are looking for someone who is equally comfortable shaping strategy, building frameworks, improving infrastructure, and directly delivering analytical work.

Key Responsibilities

Embedding Our Behaviour Change Framework & Measurement System

• Help us put our newly launched Behaviour Change Framework and Measurement System into practice across the organisation

• Support the setting of baselines and targets for our five-year OKRs, and define the year-to-year milestones that will track our progress

• Audit the data we already hold, identify the gaps, and develop new data collection methods where needed

• Design how we report, review, and evaluate against the framework

• Create practical guidelines and clear rules for using the framework and associated survey questions

Building Our Analytics Infrastructure

• Take ownership of our Microsoft Azure Data Warehouse and Power BI environment, and drive meaningful adoption across the organisation

Experience

Essential

• Proven experience in a senior data or analytics role, with hands-on delivery experience

• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (ideally Microsoft Azure)

• Practical experience building and maturing analytics capabilities in a growing organisation

• Experience developing reporting frameworks, KPIs and performance measurement approaches

• Knowledge of web analytics tools such as GA4 and CRMs e.g. Salesforce

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

As the Digital Project & Product Lead for the 247 Support Line, you will lead the transformation and continuous improvement of the organisation’s digital support line infrastructure, ensuring the technology and processes that underpin survivor support are effective, resilient, and user centred.

This role sits at the intersection of project delivery, product management, and a genuine commitment to the survivors RCEW serves. The right candidate will understand that technology is only as good as the humans who use it and will bring both rigour and empathy to everything they do.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery which, includes defining the product requirements, technology evaluation, procurement, implementation, onboarding, and ongoing optimisation. Working closely with operational teams, suppliers, and stakeholders, you will ensure that our support line products enable support workers to deliver high-quality, accessible services.

 Programme Delivery

· Own and drive the support centre improvement programme from procurement through to live operation, ensuring delivery on time and within budget

· Manage supplier relationships, coordinate and input into the evaluation of bids, and identify, track, and mitigate risks throughout the programme

This role is offered on a consultancy/project basis rather than as a salaried position. Renumeration will be agreed as a total project budget, not a salary, and will reflect the scope and deliverables of the assignment.
 

There are no fixed weekly working hours. The consultant will have up to three months to complete the agreed deliverables and may determine how and when the work is undertaken within this timeframe (for example, delivering the work in a shorter period if preferred).
 

The role is not office-based. Meetings will take place as required with the Director of Programmes, either virtually or in person, to support progress and delivery.
 

About the Role

We are now seeking a Frontline Programme SOP Freelance Writer to join our Programmes Department on a temporary basis at this pivotal time for the organisation.
 

The successful candidate will be a highly skilled and sensitive Programme SOP Writer, responsible for developing clear, ethical, and trauma‑informed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across our services, ensuring consistency, safeguarding, and best practice in service delivery.
 

This role is critical to ensuring safe, consistent, and high-quality support for survivors, while strengthening safeguarding, compliance, and operational excellence.

You will work closely with frontline staff, safeguarding leads, and leadership to document and improve processes across support services, ensuring all procedures reflect feminist principles and survivor-centred care.

Interview Process

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an interview, conducted via MS Teams.

Stage one: MS Teams with the Director of Programmes and two other panel members.

The whole process from advertisement to appointment, may take up to 1 - 3 weeks.

What You Will Do

• Map and document end-to-end processes across all four frontline support services (e.g., intake, risk assessment, case management, referrals, crisis response)
• Develop trauma-informed, survivor-centred SOPs that prioritise safety, dignity, and confidentiality
• Collaborate with frontline practitioners to capture real-world workflows and best practices
• Ensure SOPs align with safeguarding policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards (e.g., data protection, confidentiality, consent)
• Standardise documentation formats, language, and terminology across programmes
• Identify gaps, risks, and inconsistencies in current processes and recommend improvements
• Support the integration of feminist principles into operational procedures
• Produce practical guidance documents to support staff training and onboarding
• Create processes for regular reviews and updates of SOPs to reflect evolving best practice and legislation

About You

Person Specification - Essential

• Proven experience writing SOPs, operational manuals, or process documentation in sensitive service environments
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and survivor-centred approaches
• Experience working with or within services supporting survivors of sexual violence, domestic abuse, or similar contexts
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive subject matter appropriately
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with frontline practitioners
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards
