This exciting new role offers the right candidate the opportunity to lead LBWP's programmes and services for Black and minoritised, i.e. Global Majority, women and children who are survivors of domestic violence and abuse. Our programmes team is expanding as we are providing new refuge and dispersed accommodation services as well as legal advice, counselling and ex-service user training and development support. 

This senior leadership role also involves developing and maintaining external parternships with key stakeholders, funders, strategic women's sector organisations and local community partners as well as overseeing programme budgets, facilities managment and service user engagement.

Essential skilss and experience include:

• Senior management experience within the voluntary, community, or public sector
• Proven experience of simultaneously managing complex, multi- programme delivery 
• Good understanding of specialist domestic violence and abuse services that support the specific needs of Global Majority women and their children

This senior leadership position is responsible for managing and overseeing OTR’s Voice Services which include our Advocacy and Independent Visiting (IV) Service, Participation Service, LGBTQ+ Service, and our CAMHS Link Work Service. You will directly line manage our Leads of these services and empower them to deliver and develop the work that they do.

You’ll work with the Service Leads to manage key commissioner and contract relationships to ensure we’re delivering in line with our contractual obligations. This role also plays an important part in shaping the future of each service; supporting re-contracting, bid writing, and applications to tender.

The post holder will be a key member of OTR’s Senior Management Team (SMT), working collaboratively with the Head of Wellbeing Services, Head of Resources, and the CEO to help shape and deliver the organisation’s strategy, drive innovation, and support long-term organisational growth.

Main Responsibilities 

Service delivery support 

• Operational oversight and responsibility for OTR’s Voice service, working with the Service Leads to ensure continuity of quality service provision. 

• Line management of: LGBTQ+ Lead, Participation Lead, Link Worker Lead, and Advocacy & IV Lead. 

• Through service evaluation, ensuring young people are receiving the best possible quality of support, capturing feedback and learning to continually develop the support we provide.

• Working with Team leads on quality assurance using the data from our client record system, and service specific monitoring to ensure we’re delivering on contractual goals and targets.  

• Be the first point for safeguarding escalation for the Voice Service Leads and part of the on-call safeguarding rota for all of OTR.

Contracts and commissions 

• Managing relationships with contract managers and commissioners. 

• Working with the Service Leads to make sure we produce timely reporting, monitoring numbers, and finance papers.

• Attending quarterly review meetings, annual reviews and subgroups relating to these.

• Working with the SMT on re-contracting and applications to tender for Voice Services. 

Finance 

• Work with Service Leads and the SMT on funding proposals and development opportunities for the Voice Services. 

• Working with the CEO and Service Leads to set and manage the service budgets and expenditure. 

Partnerships 

• Engage and collaborate with community partners to increase OTR’s presence and impact.

Working pattern and location 

This role is based at our office in central Bath, which is very close to Bath Spa train station and Bath central bus station. The post holder will be based in a shared office with access to meeting rooms.

There is opportunity to work from home when agreed with your line manager, and we operate a flexible working policy which allows your hours to be spread throughout the day/week in agreement with your line manager.

The post holder will be expected to be able to travel throughout the authority and beyond to meet service users, professionals, and to attend meetings and training activities associated with the position. Mileage allowance will be payable for these types of travel.

Healthwatch was set up in 2013 to champion the rights of health and social care users, and hold the health and social care system to account for how well it engages with the public. During 2026/27 these services are preparing for transition while continuing to build on their legacy.

Healthwatch’s remit covers all publicly funded health and social care services for adults and children.

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Floating Support Worker to provide high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse and their children living in our dispersed refuge accommodation in Warwickshire. This service will provide emergency accommodation across Warwickshire with high-quality domestic abuse support, ‘by-and-for’ services for survivors of domestic abuse and their children. 

The post holder will provide high quality support and safety planning to survivors and their children who are fleeing domestic abuse. This includes enabling survivors to access housing, welfare, benefits and legal advice.  A key requirement is to provide personal welfare support and to ensure that survivors are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment in accordance with Refuge’s philosophical principles.

The Floating Support Worker (FSW) will carry a caseload of survivors of domestic abuse to enable them to provide a more holistic and intensive support package. They will work closely with survivors from the point of crisis through to move on from the emergency accommodation. FSWs will work in partnership with both statutory and voluntary sector partners to ensure that the whole range of survivors’ needs are met.

As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Occupational Therapist (Sensory & Attachment) will deliver high-quality, trauma-informed occupational therapy assessment and intervention to families with a history of adoption, kinship care and long-term fostering. The postholder will bring advanced expertise in sensory processing/sensory integration and the impact of early adversity, attachment disruption and developmental trauma on regulation, participation and family life. The role will work as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) within PATH, contributing to formulation-led support, practical strategies and therapeutic approaches that strengthen safety, connection, and everyday functioning at home, school and in the community.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·Provide specialist assessment and intervention where sensory processing differences interact with attachment needs, developmental trauma, neurodiversity and emotional/behavioural presentations.

·Co-produce practical, strengths-based support plans with parents/carers and, where appropriate, the child/young person; provide clear strategies that are realistic for family life.

·Deliver evidence-informed interventions (1:1 and group-based as appropriate) including sensory-based regulation strategies, activity adaptation, routine design, environmental modification and caregiver coaching.

·Integrate attachment- and trauma-informed principles (e.g., PACE/connection-based approaches) into OT recommendations, ensuring strategies support safety, relational connection and felt security.

·Contribute to MDT formulation and case discussions, offering an occupational therapy perspective on function, participation, sensory-motor development and regulation

·Prepare high-quality written outputs including assessment summaries, recommendations, letters and reports suitable for families and professionals; contribute to documentation required for commissioning/regulated service evidence as needed.

·Support families to understand the sensory, neurodevelopmental and trauma/attachment factors that may underpin behaviour and distress, and to implement strategies safely.

•  Significant experience working with children and young people and their parents/carers.

•  Sensory Integration training (e.g., postgraduate modules) and/or recognised competency frameworks.

•  Ability to provide accessible psychoeducation to families and partner professionals.

Qualifications and Education

   •Degree/diploma in Occupational Therapy.

   •     Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist. Postgraduate       training/qualification relevant to sensory integration, sensory processing or advanced   paediatric OT practice.

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking, with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.

The varied and rewarding role involves delivering trauma-informed, one-to-one educational support to adult victims of domestic abuse.

Working collaboratively with our IDVA (Independent Domestic Violence Advisors), you will help ensure that support is safe, inclusive and effective for people with a range of experiences and risks. You will play a vital part in championing people to recover from trauma, build safe relationships and move forward with dignity and hope.This role will also involve delivering our empowerment and recovery groups for those who have experienced domestic or sexual abuse. 

FearFree is committed to flexible and hybrid working and this role will be a mix of home based and office based, alongside requiring travel for multi-agency meetings and other deliverables. 

This is a 12 month fixed term role and may include evening and weekend work when required. 

Key Responsibilities

• To provide 1:1 support for medium risk clients who have previously been supported by our IDVA team.
• Deliver structured, evidence-based and trauma-responsive group programmes for victims/survivors and individuals who have used harm. 
• Contribute to joint safety and support planning alongside IDVAs. 
• Monitor and respond to safeguarding concerns in with organisational practices. 
• Provide direct assessment, casework support, advice, information, and advocacy through telephone contact, and/or meetings at the relevant practice.  
• Provide support to increase people’s personal safety, and that of any children, and inform them of their rights and options in terms of housing, legal and welfare rights. 
• To provide signposting and onward referrals to patients. 
• To provide ongoing specialist advice and support around Domestic Abuse (DA). 
• To provide training to multi-agency partners on understanding, recognising and responding to DA. 
• Develop good working relationships and liaise with outside agencies where needed.   
• Keep accurate records of all referrals received and of work done with or on behalf of service users.  
• Work flexibly and manage your own schedule, including evening work on a rotational basis to meet the needs of those unable to access support during working hours.

About the Role

We are seeking a Brief Intervention ISVA to deliver rapid, flexible, trauma‑informed support to survivors. This role ensures survivors receive immediate, equitable assistance while navigating the criminal justice system or waiting for longer-term support.
 

What You’ll Do

• Provide short‑term crisis intervention (up to 3 months)
•  Offer emotional, practical, and advocacy support
•  Support survivors through all stages of the criminal justice process
