Job description

Are you an organised and proactive administrator who thrives on keeping people, processes and operations running smoothly? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same?

St Giles Trust is looking for 2 Central Support Coordinators to join our Internal Operations team. This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of the organisation, providing operational, administrative and coordination support across a range of business functions, including facilities, finance, procurement, onboarding, compliance and office management.

About the Role

As our Central Support Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring colleagues across the organisation have the resources, systems and support they need to deliver life-changing services. Working closely with teams across Service Delivery and Central Services, you will coordinate operational activities, maintain accurate records and support a range of organisational processes.

This is a primarily office-based role, requiring regular on-site presence to support office operations, facilities coordination, onboarding activities and visitor services.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support across St Giles Trust.

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including equipment allocation, access arrangements and asset recovery.

  • Maintain accurate records of organisational assets, equipment and operational resources.

  • Support recruitment administration, interview coordination and induction activities.

  • Process invoices, purchase requests and procurement administration.

  • Coordinate facilities activities, maintenance requests and contractor visits.

  • Support Health & Safety compliance and workplace safety requirements.

  • Arrange travel, accommodation, meetings and organisational events.

  • Maintain operational databases, registers and compliance documentation.

  • Deliver excellent customer service to colleagues, managers and external stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in an administrative, operational support, facilities or business support role.

  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Confident using Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.

  • Detail-oriented, with strong record-keeping and administration skills.

  • An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams.

  • Committed to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.

  • Customer-focused, adaptable and solution-oriented.

Experience supporting onboarding, recruitment administration, facilities management or health and safety activities would be advantageous, as would knowledge of GDPR, information security or compliance frameworks.
