About the Role/Role and Responsibilities
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the Medair UK team as we are seeking a part-time Head of Operations. The post holder will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of Medair UK's finance, HR, IT and governance functions, ensuring robust systems, effective controls, and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. They will support the Medair UK Director and Board of Trustees to ensure effective governance and management of the charity in accordance with best practice and ensure a sustainable operational platform is in place to support all Medair UK’s functions. The Policy and Convening Manager helps drive the Foundation’s mission to improve urban health by shaping how the organisation influences policy and decision-making. The role sits within a Policy and Influencing function that works closely with programmes teams to turn evidence from funded projects into strong networks, higher visibility and meaningful policy impact.
The Policy and Convening Manager develops influencing strategies based on the insights from Impact on Urban Health programmes, builds coalitions and leads a new cross-programme approach to convening – including showcasing evidence from the Foundation and its partners, and delivering targeted policy-focused events. The role involves experimenting with new approaches to deliver impact, spotting opportunities to influence, and leading investment partnerships with a policy angle, which may include commissioning research or designing campaigns.
The Policy and Convening Manager works with the Head of Policy and Influencing on engagement with key parliamentary and governmental stakeholders and collaborates with Communications colleagues to create impactful policy communications.

Location: Work from Home and offices in Leatherhead and Redhill, Surrey
Salary: £28,840 per annum plus benefits

As People Support Team Administrator, you work to support our homes with all onboarding and HR administrative queries across the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on onboarding.

We are seeking a Celebrity Ambassador Manager (0.5 FTE) to join our Fundraising Communications and Engagement team in the Development and Communication directorate. They will be responsible for recruiting and stewarding celebrities and influencers as ambassadors for the ICR to support our fundraising, communications and advocacy work.
The successful candidate will play a key role in our fundraising, communications and advocacy work. The postholder will develop the ICR’s ambassador strategy. The Celebrity Ambassador Manager will work across our fundraising teams, in conjunction with communications colleagues, to support philanthropic, corporate and mass fundraising. They will work to build high-profile support for the ICR.
They will liaise directly with celebrities and influencers, and their teams, to negotiate appropriate terms for their involvement and the degree of their support.
