About the role

We are the leading kinship care charity supporting more than 15,000 kinship carers across England and Wales each year. We’re here for kinship carers – friends or family who step up to raise a child when their parents aren’t able to. They care for more than 141,000 children in England and Wales, double the number in foster care, but feel isolated and need help. By supporting, advising and informing kinship carers, and campaigning together for fairer services, we are changing lives and changing the system. 

Kinship’s peer support and community work, supported by Department for Education funding, helps kinship carers feel connected, less isolated and better supported by building local, carer-led peer support groups and strengthening wider community networks. 

Our delivery model prioritises proactive outreach and sustainable growth through a volunteer model. 

The team works in communities to bring kinship carers together, support and train volunteer group leaders, and grow groups to a point where they are sustainable and independent (ideally within 6 months). Sustainable means able to thrive without direct staff involvement or attendance. A central ‘Hub’ team then provides ongoing remote support, training and connection. 

This role provides the operational grip to plan, deliver and continuously improve this work, while evidencing impact through robust data monitoring, reporting and clear storytelling.

Key responsibilities include:

• Accountable for the set-up, growth and transition of peer support groups to independence supported by the Hub, using clear milestones and support plans. 

• Responsible for ensuring volunteer group leaders have high-quality training, guidance and ongoing coaching to deliver safe, supportive peer spaces. 

• Responsible for embedding strengths-based, trauma-informed approaches and clear boundaries across all peer support activity. 
• Responsible for managing external delivery partners or commissioned provision to support growth in specific communities, ensuring quality and delivery to agreed standards. 
• Accountable for the identification and nurture of new group leaders and volunteers, ensuring groups are welcoming, accessible and inclusive. 
• Accountable for ensuring a proactive outreach approach that builds relationships with kinship carers and local partners, prioritising under-served areas and communities, ensuring that learning is captured and shared across the team to build further confidence and competence in supporting under-served communities (minoritised ethnic kinship carers).

Essential requirements include:

• Experience leading peer support, community development, volunteering or relational support services at scale.

We’re looking for an  enthusiastic and passionate experienced Corporate and Community Fundraiser to play a key role in the growth of our corporate and community income and develop new partners. This brand new role will develop fundraising opportunities with businesses and  community groups, helping to broaden our supporter base and strengthen long-term relationships.

This organisation is the only national charity supporting people living with lupus and those that care for them. They hold an ambition for a world where people with lupus can live full and active lives and work hard to empower people by providing information about lupus and offering support so their voices are heard and their condition diagnosed and managed effectively.

This is an exciting new role for the organisation which will focus on engaging with communities and recruiting and training volunteers to deliver peer support services for those living with lupus. As Community Services Coordinator you will work as part of a small, tight-knit team, and will facilitate co-production sessions with stakeholders across the lupus community, enabling beneficiaries to design and shape community-based services. The role will involve providing direct support to service users, producing regular reports, and supporting and managing volunteers to provide service resourcing. To support this growth, we are recruiting for a full time National Director of Operations to lead our delivery across England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and emerging community settings, with an ambition to reach Scotland. As National Director of Operations, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for our learning programmes in prisons and community settings. This is a key role focused on ensuring that strong, representative community voice, clear governance, and meaningful VCSE sector involvement are embedded from the outset.

Pride in Place is a national ten-year programme that places Neighbourhood Boards at the heart of local decision-making, with local authorities acting as the accountable body and communities expected to shape priorities and hold partners to account. In this model, Local Infrastructure Organisations (LIOs) like Salford CVS play an important enabling role - helping to connect local authorities with VCSE organisations, strengthening engagement, and ensuring a diverse range of community voices can participate fully.

As Programme Manager (Place), you will coordinate our work to support high-quality governance, inclusive engagement and strong local insight across both neighbourhoods.

A core part of your work will be ensuring that Pride in Place Neighbourhood Boards in Pendleton and Peel Green benefit from authentic, representative and evidence-driven community input. This includes leading the development of a community research programme, working in close partnership with VCSE organisations already active on the ground. Through these organisations, who often have trusted relationships with residents, established local networks and specialist knowledge of particular communities, you will lead on approaches that reach a wide range of voices, including those who are seldom heard. Job Title: Community Fundraising Relationship Manager known as Relationship Manager (South Midlands) internally.

Location: Home-based covering South Midlands. Candidates should ideally reside in Oxfordshire, Warwickshire Northamptonshire or North Gloucestershire and have access to a vehicle as there is a requirement to be able to travel across the region to attend meetings, events and training.

What we’re looking for:

• Someone with a successful track record of building strong internal and external relationships and generating income ideally from community and corporate opportunities

• Someone who can create and deliver strong stewardship plans to maximise income and retain our supporters

• Someone with a growth mindset who is solution focused. Someone who can manage their time and workload, and utilise our given processes, systems, and parameters to overcome barriers

• Someone who can deliver a personal portfolio within an overall Regional Fundraising team target, demonstrating an understanding of how to mitigate risk and maximise return on investment

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious fundraising manager and team leader, with a strong track record across all aspects of community fundraising. You excel in designing and delivering donor journeys that generate six‑figure income and strengthen our campaign voice through collaborative work with a wide range of stakeholders.

Reporting to the Chief operating officer, this role will take responsibility for leading the charity’s Fundraising function, which sits as part of our Income generation team. This role will include delivering toward your own individual targets as well as line management of two team members (Community relationship fundraiser and Events and fundraising officer) to cover all income linked to fundraising (such as community fundraising, company fundraising, Brake led fundraising events, and fundraising attached to Brake campaigns and projects such as Road Safety Week) and may include working with the Corporate partnerships team lead to support other income generating activity.

The Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Delivery and Support Coordinator to be the delivery arm of The Mason Foundation in the North West, delivering all three of our programmes across the region.

As the Training and Support Worker, you will engage with schools, colleges, community settings, employers, and local communities, delivering training, supporting implementation, and championing neuroinclusion. You will deliver Propel (neuroinclusive employment support), Community Mile (locally led physical activity), and community impact programmes that empower underserved communities.

You will be required to travel regularly to deliver face to face training within schools, colleges, community settings, and workplaces across the North West.
