Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Senior Philanthropy Officer to join our Philanthropy team based in London or Manchester.

Centrepoint operates a hybrid working model. The requirement is a minimum of 50% of your working week to be worked in the office. For most full-time colleagues, this means attending the office for five days over a two-week period (e.g., two days one week and three days the next). For colleagues on different contracts (including part-time or compressed contracts) this will be adjusted accordingly.

We provide homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. High Value Giving is an area of income growth for Centrepoint, with the Philanthropy team forming part of the Relationship Fundraising Department. The Senior Philanthropy Officer role plays a crucial part within the Philanthropy team, as the team look to build upon their recent successes and income trajectory.

Developing donor relationships, producing important cultivation resources and contributing to the creation of a robust donor pipeline will form key responsibilities for this role. About You

As a local grant maker, Young Camden Foundation's grants processes and operations are key to our success. This role will suit an adaptable and organised team player, who is up for a challenge and keen to learn. 

You will lead and develop YCF’s significant grant-giving programmes, organising and improving the grants process, keeping donors in the loop, and communicating the impact of the small grants programmes, and coordinating support from the team to ensure this work is well supported. An exciting opportunity has arisen as an Empowered Living Team (ELT) Coordinator at St Joseph’s. You will work as a key member of a committed and creative Therapies team, which offers innovative, holistic and person-aligned care and support to people with palliative and end-of-life care needs, and to their families and caregivers.

The post holder will provide coordination for, and service development of, the Empowered Living Service. ABOUT THE ROLE

Team: Delivery/ Infrastructure

As a Design Technician, you will help create technical work using your specialist skills and knowledge.

You will work with some supervision and will focus on producing high-quality and sustainable solutions that support the mission of the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team. This means you will work with designers, engineers, other technicians, and technical specialists.

Your role is to support the delivery of projects and programmes that match the Trust’s strategic priorities.

• Work within clear guidelines and processes.
• Manage your own tasks, even when you are working on several projects at the same time.
• Use your developing specialist skills to help create project materials.
  This may include things like technical drawings, specifications, or reports.
• Use analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to help with challenges that arise in projects.
• Use innovative and sustainable design and construction practices in all the work you do.

 This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands on creative work and wants to grow a wide range of technical design skills. You’ll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, helping to shape high‑quality, sustainable solutions that make it easier and more enjoyable for people to walk, wheel and cycle. ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who has experience and understanding in the areas listed below. You don’t need to meet every requirement - if you feel you’d be a good fit, we encourage you to apply.

• You have either a Level 3 qualification (or an equivalent qualification) in a relevant subject, such as Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, or another relevant specialism that you can clearly demonstrate or at least 3 years of work experience in a relevant role.
• You can use design software confidently.
• You have knowledge of best practice in healthy street design.
• You have knowledge of health and safety legislation and how it applies to your work.
• The ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and adults at risk.

We're looking for two Support Workers to join Your Place and be part of our dedicated team to help us with our mission to solve homelessness in east London, one person at a time!

About the role
This role gives you the opportunity to help people build positive relationships and see meaningful change over time. At Your Place, we work to build hope and develop sustainable life skills that support people to move on from homelessness. We work closely with each resident, focusing on their strengths through one‑to‑one and peer‑led support within a compassionate community that encourages progress towards independent living.

As a Support Worker, you will deliver consistent one to one keywork to residents who may be rebuilding their lives after homelessness while navigating multiple needs and complex barriers. You will complete assessments, co‑produce support plans and risk assessments, and work in a trauma‑informed and psychologically aware way that promotes safety, dignity and independence.

You will not be doing this work alone. As part of a dedicated support team, you will collaborate closely with our Community Partnership Team, Resident Services and Move‑On Specialist to create joined‑up pathways, remove barriers and support successful move‑on.

Our approach is collaborative. You will work with health services, substance misuse providers, the DWP, Probation, Housing and other partners to ensure residents receive the right support at the right time. Person specification

Experience

· Relevant experience may be gained through work or education, including supporting people affected by homelessness or housing insecurity and multiple needs, such as mental health, substance use, offending, poor physical health, or social isolation.

· Experience working in a trauma-informed and person-centred way, which can be demonstrated either through employment or educational placements, particularly with individuals who may find services difficult to trust.

· Experience completing assessments and co-producing support plans/risk assessments, as well as reviewing progress over time, gained via work, volunteering, or educational settings.

· Experience of partnership working and multi-agency coordination, developed through professional roles or collaborative educational projects.

Skills & knowledge

· Ability to build rapport and maintain professional boundaries, confident communication with residents and professionals.

· Strong organisation and time management; able to manage a caseload and competing priorities.

· Good IT skills such as Microsoft Office and ability to use case management systems e.g., In-Form/Salesforce/Pyramid.

· Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, GDPR/data protection and health & safety in a supported housing setting.

· Sound knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting supported housing and vulnerable adult groups

· Ability to work shifts including evenings and weekends and contribute to a team rota.

Desirable

· Experience supporting vulnerable adults, migrants and/or people facing barriers to move-on, including navigating access to advice and housing pathways.
