About the role
As District Coordinator, you will lead the effective implementation of the Comprehensive and Accessible Eye Health – Bangladesh project at the district level. You will coordinate with partners, including organisations of persons with disabilities (OPDs), hospitals, and community stakeholders, to ensure project deliverables are achieved. The role involves monitoring, documentation, reporting, and capacity building, while maintaining compliance with donor and organisational standards. You will also support planning, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement to deliver inclusive eye health services.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with hospital partners, inclusion partners, and OPDs to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
- Support partners in planning, monitoring, record keeping, and quality assurance of project activities.
- Assist in organising capacity development activities for community health workers and factory staff.
- Monitor project progress, compliance with partnership agreements, and adherence to donor requirements.
- Track project expenditure, analyse budget variances, and report findings to the line manager.
- Conduct monitoring visits, review performance targets, and support partners in addressing underperformance.
- Prepare and submit accurate project reports, ensuring deadlines and donor compliance are met.
- Facilitate coordination with local stakeholders, schools, and disability rights committees to promote inclusive eye health.
- Support capacity building for OPDs, partner hospitals, and field teams in eye care and disability inclusion.
- Collaborate with finance, advocacy, and safeguarding teams to ensure integrated and compliant project implementation.

Jobholder Requirements
Essential
- Master’s degree in social science, Development Studies, Public Health, Economics, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Experience working in health or eye care programmes within NGOs/INGOs or similar organisations.
- Knowledge of project cycle management and experience managing CSR-funded projects.
Desirable
- Ability to understand and work with project budgets, forecasts, and reports.
- Experience in training needs assessment and facilitation.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bangla.
- Strong negotiation and motivational skills.
- Valid motorcycle driving licence.

Job purpose

About the role
We are seeking a Community Fundraising Officer to lead and deliver a small number of high-impact virtual fundraising challenges and supporter-led events each year.
This role exists to generate lumpy, time-bound income spikes through well-executed campaigns.
This is a delivery-focused, commercially minded position suited to someone who is comfortable working with data, managing budgets, and being accountable for results.
Key responsibilities
Virtual fundraising challenges (core responsibility):
- Designing and delivering 3–4 virtual fundraising challenges per year.
- Managing each challenge end-to-end, including campaign concept and structure, participant onboarding and journey, fundraising targets, timelines, delivery, and wrap-up.
- Running private Facebook Groups or similar community spaces during live challenge periods.

Supporter-led and external events

- Overseas challenge events (e.g. treks)

About you

Social listening, analytics and reporting
- Use social listening tools to track sentiment, conversations, and emerging trends in the transport and disability space.

Your experience:
- Proven track record of success in a dedicated social media or digital communications role, ideally within a charity or a public sector organisation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
- Experience developing and running social media campaigns (using organic and paid content).
- Skilled at content creation: writing, graphic design (e.g. Canva or Adobe Express) and basic video production / editing.

The Journey and Cross Sell team sits within the Content and Conversion team in the Marketing and Communications capability. The main focus of the Journey and Cross-sell manager will be:

This three-year, volunteer-led programme, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund has achieved significant success in its first eighteen months. We are now recruiting a new postholder to take this strong foundation forward through the next phase of delivery.
Over the past eighteen months, we have recruited and established a thriving network of volunteers and local groups across England. This momentum is expected to continue. Background to the role
The Choir with No Name (CWNN) run choirs for people affected by homelessness in London, Birmingham, Brighton, Sheffield, Liverpool, Cardiff and Coventry. Their mission is to support people to make friends, build their confidence and skills, improve well-being, and find their place in society. Each week they offer a rehearsal, and the members, volunteers and staff all sit down and eat with each other. In 2021 The Wallich joined in partnership with CWNN to launch a new choir in Cardiff.
This role is for an initial period of 4 months with the possibility of extension. The CWNN Cardiff Choir Manager role will take on the administrative and pastoral side of the Cardiff choir. Your job will be to lead a small team of volunteers to lead rehearsals on a Tuesday evening in Butetown alongside our Music Director. You will be also recruiting choir members and supporting them to feel welcome in the choir, build confidence, and signpost them to services when needed. You will also manage small projects and event manage gigs and promotional outreach workshops working closely with our Cardiff Choir Director and other CWNN and Wallich staff. Direct line management will come from the Head of Programmes at Choir with No Name with additional support from The Head of Service Innovation & Enhancement at The Wallich.

Member recruitment and liaison
a) Lead on recruiting choir members, ensuring that the opportunity to attend choir is available to as many potential members as possible and oversee a rota for our volunteer shuttling initiative to and from rehearsals.

The charity is looking for an experienced fundraiser to lead the team across a period of maternity leave. The Individual Giving team look after donors across philanthropy, corporate, members and legators. Internally this role is called the Head of Individual Giving, the job title has been amended for this selection process to reflect the broader remit of the role beyond regular donors.
The post holder will, in conjunction with the Director of Development, set and embed Scottish Operas Individual Giving strategy and will personally solicit gifts and steward key donors, whilst supporting and overseeing the work of the Individual Giving team.
There are some fantastic projects in the works that Scottish Opera can use to engage donors, and there is brilliant internal buy in and understanding of fundraising. Income performance is strong, so there are solid foundations from which to test and trial new ideas.
