We are currently offering a rewarding opportunity within our Helpline Team who are the ‘front-door’ to CSWS, providing a first point of contact for carers and professionals via our Countywide telephone and email service, online portal, and chat services.
Carer Wellbeing Workers on the Helpline focus on registration and ‘Tier 1’ conversation model using active listening skills to identify any most pressing need before referring/signposting onwards.
You will have excellent IT skills and experience of working with adults and families, and working knowledge and / or lived experience of social care and health. You will use excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide a professional, time-limited and informed service for carers who contact the helpline for a variety of reasons and who may be distressed or in need of safeguarding support.
The role is mainly remote / homeworking with the expectation that you may need to travel on occasions to in-person meetings and training across the country. This role would therefore suit those located in, or close to, West Sussex.
Key Responsibilities
• Work within a team to provide carer registration and support to carers via a variety of methods (phone, email, online chat) following the ‘Tier 1’ conversation model – addressing only the most pressing need before referring/signposting onwards, including referrals to our Community and Health Teams.
• Supported by a Shift Manager, respond with a professional, time-limited and informed service for carers who contact the helpline for a variety of reasons and who may be distressed or in need of safeguarding support.
• Provide guidance to professionals outside of the organisation, answering queries about carer’s support or related areas.
• Follow Carers Support West Sussex processes to record activities on in house database systems. Accurately record all interventions on CSWS Client Record Management System to enable timely and informative reports on the services provided.
• Use a range of outcome-based tools to evidence your work and as a framework to support carers to create a personal plan to identify and achieve positive change. Demonstrate the impact the service has made through feedback surveys, case studies and collating general feedback.
• Focus on outcomes for the carers, appropriately triaging and signposting them to relevant services making dynamic decisions about the suitable pathway for a carer. Work closely with colleagues to ensure carers receive timely support.
• Provide mentoring and support to volunteers who work within the team to provide services to carers.
• Promote the principles of Think Carer across all networks and proactively identify carers and opportunities through partnership working, outreach, community connections and networking, promoting carers as expert partners in care.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
·To support the community work of Adoption UK Scotland and their kinship services, to provide professionals, parents/carers, children, and young people access to information, resources, and services for kinship communities and to engage with families in their local communities.
·To offer a front-line service, primarily to kinship families based in the East Lothian Community, by supporting delivery and administration for activities and events, including regular support groups delivery, youth and family events. Support of events in other areas in Scotland based on resources and availability.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·Working alongside service leads within the kinship teams, and with the wider community team members to plan and deliver specific events and activities for East Lothian Council Kinship community members, and kinship families in wider areas where resources and availability allows.
·Provide administrative coordination for community groups, including collating event materials, gathering feedback and evaluations for reporting purposes, supporting delivery of events, maintaining records using existing required systems, and responding to enquiries via our Information and Support line and relevant email inboxes.
·To facilitate referral meetings with new kinship carers accessing the East Lothian Kinship Support Service, including initial assessment of need to identify suitable support and signposting requirements
·To hold responsibility for administrative requirements relating to referrals and cases within the East Lothian Kinship Support Service, including setting up new cases and recording service delivery interactions, using existing Adoption UK systems and processes
·To work with colleagues in the Foundations for Families kinship support service to support delivery where time and resources allow, and coordinate activities between services where appropriate.
·To report to line manager and directors in Adoption UK Scotland relating to service delivery, including contributing to monitoring and reporting on activities.

What the job involves
As part of our Customer Engagement and Experience team, you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional supporter experience, from ordering shop items and receiving fulfilment materials to ensuring Gift Aid contributions are processed accurately and securely.
This job share role combines operational ownership, relationship management and compliance oversight. You’ll be trusted to run essential day-to-day activity and improve the systems that sit behind them.
You’ll build and manage strong relationships with fulfilment suppliers, holding them accountable to KPIs and ensuring materials are delivered accurately and on time. You’ll also manage the day-to-day running of our online shop, including product development, stock forecasting, supplier coordination and performance monitoring.
You’ll keep fulfilment operations running efficiently by identifying improvements, resolving bottlenecks and making sure teams across the charity have what they need. Alongside this, you’ll take ownership of Gift Aid administration, ensuring claims are accurate, compliant with HMRC requirements and supported by clear audit trails.
By monitoring Gift Aid performance, you’ll analyse trends and recommend improvements, keeping internal teams informed and skilled in best practice. You’ll also support Fundraising teams with compliance checks, offering guidance and helping to resolve any issues quickly and effectively.
In addition, you’ll oversee monthly stock reconciliations and financial reporting for shop activity, ensuring accuracy and supporting informed decision-making. You’ll work closely with colleagues across digital, operations, marketing and customer experience to deliver a seamless, joined-up supporter journey.
This is a varied and meaningful role where your work directly improves how supporters experience Prostate Cancer UK.

About the role
As HR Business Partner at Leeds University Union (LUU), you’ll provide strategic people support to our leadership teams, helping shape how we deliver great people practice across the organisation. You’ll work closely with directorates to translate our People & Culture strategy into practical action, supporting workforce planning, organisational change, and leadership capability to ensure our teams can thrive.
Working in partnership with the Director of People & Culture, you’ll play a key role in establishing LUU’s business partnering approach and act as a trusted advisor to managers and senior leaders, providing expert guidance on complex employee relations while building manager confidence and capability in handling people matters.
The successful candidate won’t necessarily need to come from the Higher Education sector but will bring strong HR generalist experience, excellent relationship-building skills, and the confidence to influence and coach managers at all levels. You’ll be motivated by improving organisational culture, using people insight to drive decisions, and helping leaders create environments where people can do their best work.

As Community Connector you will play a vital role in fostering meaningful relationships between Raw Material and its diverse local communities, and stakeholders across the education, arts, youth work, community, and social and healthcare sectors.
Working as part of the Programmes Team (and closely with other Raw Material staff) you will develop, coordinate and participate in the delivery of Raw Material’s CEP, building awareness of the charity’s creative and wellbeing programmes, facilities and broader services (e.g. workspaces).

This is an exciting opportunity to lead CPAG’s strategic legal work at an important time in the organisation’s fight to end child poverty. As Head of Strategic Litigation, you will oversee and carry out CPAG’s work using legal cases for positive impact, to benefit families and children in poverty. You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of CPAG’s legal work, in addition to managing CPAG’s legal practice and playing an active role in conducting high-profile litigation on a day-to-day basis.
We are looking for someone who is strategically minded and passionate about using the law to advocate for the rights of, and directly improve the lives of, families in poverty. The ideal candidate will be a solicitor (E&W qualified) with substantial post-qualification experience. You will have experience of conducting public law litigation and legal aid (publicly funded) work. You will be able to supervise the casework of colleagues, such as CPAG’s junior or trainee solicitor(s) and welfare benefit advisers, and support the professional development and wellbeing of your team. You may have experience of working with clients in vulnerable situations or with additional needs, for example, survivors of domestic abuse, refugees, disabled people or children and young people.
