Main Role & Responsibilities
The post holder will be an active member of our programmes team and will work across our portfolio of programmes, with responsibility for engagement within Wales. Although remote working, they would need to be living in Wales for travel purposes.
They will be responsible for regional stakeholder engagement, developing and maintaining relationships and promoting Ygam training. They will recruit suitable delegates to Ygam’s full portfolio of workshops.
They will provide training both face to face and online and will be responsible for the delivery of our assured workshops and promoting the work of Ygam at conferences and events.
The post holder will maintain excellent relationship with Ygam Stakeholders and beneficiaries, providing ongoing support to organisations, to help them implement Ygam resources, and visits to schools and organisations as part of this work is crucial. The post holder will gather data to support Ygam to understand the impact of our work.

Duties will include but not be limited to:
Planning
· Network and develop stakeholder relationships, leading the recruitment of delegates suitable to Ygam’s programmes.
· Develop a regional presence to amplify Ygam’s mission and vision

Delivery
· Deliver the Ygam portfolio of workshops (online and face to face).
· Deliver workshops directly to children and young people in education and non-education settings
· Provide high quality training to a range of professionals in line with Ygam’s Quality Assurance processes.
· Deliver workshops and training independently as well as through team teach approach.
· Be responsive to delegates needs, answering questions and queries in a supportive manner.
· Promote Ygam’s additional offerings, such as Alumni and resources.
· Provide an excellent customer service to delegates.
Outcomes:
· Provide ongoing support to schools and youth organisations to help imbed Ygam materials within curriculum.

Learning and Development:

Administration:

Person Specification
Essential:
· Prior experience in delivering training to adults and children

The Role
As Wellbeing Services Manager, you will provide day-to-day support to a growing team of independent, contracted counsellors. Working closely with the Wellbeing Director, you will contribute to governance, protocol development, administrative coordination, and quality assurance across the service.
This is a role for someone who combines experience in therapeutic pathways and counselling governance and processes, with the leadership skills and technological confidence needed to thrive in a fast-moving, fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Counselling practice
Act as the primary internal escalation point for risk and safeguarding.
Triage high-risk and complex cases and refer them to the counsellor best placed to support the client.
Apply trauma-informed, gender-affirming approaches across all areas of practice.
Team support & development
Provide day-to-day management and operational oversight of the counselling team, ensuring consistent standards of service delivery across the caseload.
Coordinate admin support for counsellors.
Coordinate scheduling and mentoring support for counsellors.
Contribute to the onboarding and initial suitability review of new counsellors joining the Anne Health register.

Contribute to counselling governance processes, policy development, and quality assurance activity.

Platform & technology
Develop and maintain expert-level proficiency with Anne Health's internal platforms.

Person Specification
Qualifications & professional membership
Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (completed); higher qualifications welcomed.
Full BACP membership, or the UK equivalent professional body registration.
Experience
Experience managing a team of counsellors, including providing internal oversight of service delivery, distinct from the formal clinical supervision counsellors hold independently as a condition of their professional registration.
Significant, demonstrable experience in transgender and gender-affirming healthcare at a senior level.
Proven ability to manage risk, safeguarding, and ethically complex presentations.
Experience in a mentoring or counselling lead capacity.
Familiarity with the unique needs of trans+ and gender-diverse people across a range of presentations.

About You and the Role:
The Expeditions & Fieldwork Officer will join a specialised team at a time of transition and growth, helping to expand the Society's capacity to support expedition and fieldwork practitioners and reinforce its position as an international leader in geographical exploration.
Drawing upon first-hand experience of expeditions or field research, the post holder will support the delivery of the Society's advice, information, training and outreach activities. They will act as a key point of contact for the exploration community, assisting with enquiries, maintaining specialist information resources and contributing to the development of practical guidance and publications.
The role combines operational and administrative responsibilities with support for a wide range of public engagement activities. This includes producing the Society's monthly exploration community bulletin, helping to organise training for grant recipients, maintaining exploration directories and databases, creating digital resources, and supporting the delivery of events including the annual RGS Explore Weekend.
The successful candidate will bring experience of expeditions or fieldwork together with strong communication, organisational and digital skills. Working as part of a small, collaborative team, they will help ensure the Society's support for modern geographical exploration remains rigorous, accessible and impactful as the community continues to grow.
