Creu Cymru is seeking a highly organised and proactive Access Scheme Administrator to support the effective delivery and development of the access scheme (currently known as hynt). Hynt is a national access scheme that works with theatres and arts centres across Wales to improve access for Deaf, disabled, and neurodiverse people.
The Access Scheme Administrator plays a key role in supporting both the operational and communications aspects of the project. Working closely with the Access Scheme Project Manager, the post-holder will be responsible for liaising with member venues and cardholders, updating systems and platforms, and coordinating marketing and communications.
This is a people-focused and detail-oriented role, perfect for someone who is passionate about accessibility in the arts and skilled in communication and administration.
ABOUT HYNT
Hynt is an Arts Council of Wales initiative managed by Creu Cymru. It ensures a consistent, accessible ticketing offer for individuals with specific access requirements at theatres and arts centres across Wales. The scheme provides a membership card that entitles holders to a complimentary companion ticket.
In 2026, the scheme will transition into a UK and Ireland wide scheme.

Key Responsibilities
Member and Audience Support
- Act as the first point of contact for the access scheme enquiries, providing timely and accurate information to existing and potential applicants, venues, and partners.
- Provide responsive and empathetic support to subscribers and members.
- Manage and help resolve member queries, including customer service issues and complaints.
- Keep members informed about relevant updates, training opportunities, and developments
- Support the transition of members and subscribers to the UK and Ireland National Access Scheme.
- Work with the Project Manager on bilingual customer service training to be regularly implemented for subscriber personnel.
Marketing and Communications
- Manage social media accounts and schedule regular content updates, including an All In social media account for Wales with bilingual posts.
- Coordinate and maintain up-to-date content on the website.
- Assist with translation and data entry on the All In website and translation for all social media posts.
- Support member venues in uploading and updating "What’s On" listings. Assist with creating a process ensuring consistent bilingual content, translation and spot checking.
- Oversee the production and distribution of marketing materials.
- Support the All In central marketing team with scoping digital dual language capabilities and a separate mailing list for Wales.
- Be the Welsh language contact for the All In gateway in Wales to enable subscriber profiles and subscriber gateway queries to be answered in Wales, with support from the Project Manager.
Event Support
- Support the planning and delivery of the annual Symposium, including managing event ticketing and attendee communication.
- Assist the Project Manager in delivering other access scheme events or activities as needed.
Systems and Administration
- Update and maintain the CRM system with accurate records of subscribers, members, and activity.
- Provide administrative support to the Access Scheme Project Manager as required
- Liaise with project partners and stakeholders as part of project delivery.
Person Specification
Essential:
- Lived experience of disability is highly desirable, as well as a strong commitment to accessibility and inclusion.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with customer or member support, including handling enquiries and complaints.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Empathy, patience, and a commitment to inclusive and accessible practices.
- Confident in using digital tools including social media and websites.
- Welsh language fluency.
Desirable:
- Experience in an arts, cultural or charity setting.
- Understanding of access and inclusion, particularly in the context of disability.
- Experience using CRM systems.
- Welsh language skills (desirable but not essential).

Welsh language
This role requires fluency in Welsh. We expect the post holder to communicate confidently in Welsh across a range of contexts – including subscriber events, phone conversations, emails, and creating Welsh-language content. For larger-scale communications, we use professional translation services.

About the role
- We are seeking an experienced People and Inclusion (P&I) professional to join our passionate team and contribute to the meaningful work that transforms the lives of parents and families. Your role will work within a small P&I team, which is part of our overall Organisational Services Directorate. Key duties include:
- Deep and proactive partnering with our charity’s managers as a trusted advisor on People and Inclusion matters across the employee lifecycle. We rely on our talented staff team to deliver a range of important services for all parents so need our people to feel included, connected and supported to do their best work;
- Efficient management of People administration and the operational People function to deliver an excellent employee experience. This will include ensuring our HR System (IRIS Cascade) is optimised for our teams, delivering timely and accurate management data to inform decision-making and ensuring our People policies and practices operate at a minimum in line with employment legislation and aspire to be best practice throughout. You will manage our People and Inclusion Coordinator and will partner with the Payroll team;
- Leading the delivery and continuous development of employee equity, inclusion and wellbeing initiatives that support diversity and create belonging for all of our people. Ensuring that equity, diversity and inclusion (ED&I) is embedded across all of our work is one of our Charity’s key strategic aims;
- Taking a remote first approach as we have a home-based workforce and working in in partnership with the communications team to deliver motivational, supportive and informative updates alongside connection and engagement opportunities;
- Build focussed management development, learning and community-building opportunities for our People managers.
About you:

- You will have significant previous experience operating as a People Business Partner, People and Inclusion Manager or senior HR/People Advisor or similar across the full employee lifecycle. Your key experience will include: overseeing the efficient and effective deployment and development of an HR system; effective partnering with managers; analysing People data and trends; developing and embedding ED&I principles and practices; and supporting organisational change projects.
