Base: This role is primarily remote, with regular travel required to support programme delivery. The successful candidate will typically travel one day per week to Manchester and one day per week to the North East of England to support the delivery of workshops, events and engagement activity. There will also be occasional travel to the Rees Foundation Head Office in Droitwich, Worcestershire. Due to the frequency of travel required, applicants should be based within reasonable travelling distance of the Manchester and North East delivery areas, ideally within Northern England and must have access to a vehicle.

Overview

The Regional Project Co-Ordinator will support the planning, coordination and delivery of programmes and initiatives designed to support individuals who have spent part of their childhood in the care system.

Working closely with colleagues, delivery partners and stakeholders, the Project Co-Ordinator will help ensure programme activity runs smoothly and reaches those who may benefit most. The role combines organisational project coordination with hands on delivery, including supporting workshops, events and engagement activity with partners and care experienced people.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management

• Oversee the day to day coordination of programmes and initiatives.
• Support the planning and practical delivery of workshops, events and programme activity.
• Attend and assist with the delivery of sessions alongside partners and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project plans, monitor progress and adjust activity where required.
• Coordinate delivery partners to ensure services are provided on time and meet the needs of care experienced people.

2. Communication and Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain positive relationships with delivery partners, commissioners, professionals and local stakeholders involved in programme delivery.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders.
• Address any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders promptly and effectively.
• Organise and facilitate meetings, ensuring communication is clear and action points are followed up.
• Prepare and send out project-related communications, updates, and reports to stakeholders.

3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting

• Adhere to agreed project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, risk logs, and other relevant documents.
• Monitor and report on project budgets, identifying any potential overruns or issues.
• Collect and analyse data/feedback on programme outcomes and evaluate the success of projects upon completion, ensuring outcomes align with the charity’s mission and strategic goals.
• Prepare and present reports on the effectiveness and impact of the programmes/initiatives to commissioners/stakeholders.
• Assist with the preparation of funding applications, reports, and other documentation for funders.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance project delivery in the future.

4. Budget Monitoring and Reporting

• Liaise with the finance team who will prepare regular financial reports for commissioners.
• Identify and address any financial risks or discrepancies and raise them with the finance team.

5. Compliance and Quality Assurance

• Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of service delivery.

6. Additional Duties

• Participate in meetings, training sessions, and other events as required.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the various programmes and initiatives.
• Work in line with the charity’s ‘Vision and Values’.
• Work to deadlines and respond in a flexible way to changing demands.
• Maintain a positive demeanour that supports a happy working environment and remain flexible and professional at all times.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential:

• Ability and willingness to travel regularly to Manchester and the North East to support programme delivery.
• Access to a vehicle.
• Proven experience in project management within healthcare, social work or not-for-profit sectors.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• Ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively, ensuring accuracy and quality in all work.
• Ability to analyse data and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Budget monitoring skills.
• Ability to identify problems early and develop practical solutions.
• Proficiency in using project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable:

· Local knowledge of, or experience working within, the Manchester and North East communities where programme activity takes place would be an advantage.

· Understanding of the challenges faced by individuals who have been in the care system.

· Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).

What the job involves

As part of our Customer Engagement and Experience team, you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional supporter experience, from ordering shop items and receiving fulfilment materials to ensuring Gift Aid contributions are processed accurately and securely.

This job share role combines operational ownership, relationship management and compliance oversight. You’ll be trusted to run essential day-to-day activity and improve the systems that sit behind them.

You’ll build and manage strong relationships with fulfilment suppliers, holding them accountable to KPIs and ensuring materials are delivered accurately and on time. You’ll also manage the day-to-day running of our online shop, including product development, stock forecasting, supplier coordination and performance monitoring.

You’ll keep fulfilment operations running efficiently by identifying improvements, resolving bottlenecks and making sure teams across the charity have what they need. Alongside this, you’ll take ownership of Gift Aid administration, ensuring claims are accurate, compliant with HMRC requirements and supported by clear audit trails.

By monitoring Gift Aid performance, you’ll analyse trends and recommend improvements, keeping internal teams informed and skilled in best practice. You’ll also support Fundraising teams with compliance checks, offering guidance and helping to resolve any issues quickly and effectively.

In addition, you’ll oversee monthly stock reconciliations and financial reporting for shop activity, ensuring accuracy and supporting informed decision-making. You’ll work closely with colleagues across digital, operations, marketing and customer experience to deliver a seamless, joined-up supporter journey.

This is a varied and meaningful role where your work directly improves how supporters experience Prostate Cancer UK.

About the team

Our Property and Facilities team is responsible for ensuring Shelter’s estate is fit for purpose and fully compliant for its staff, volunteers and clients. We provide a full range of professional services, including acquisitions, disposals, rent and lease negotiations, rating, estates management, building surveying, strategic planning, budgeting, compliance, health & safety and facilities management. We also support all office and shop relocations, refurbishments and planned maintenance projects, while our portfolio comprises one freehold head office property in London, 24 leasehold offices and around 90 leasehold shops across England and Scotland.

About the role

You will be responsible for all property related matters across Scotland and England for our diverse portfolio. That will involve making regular site visits, with occasional overnight stays. As well as ensuring all lease events are managed and actioned and properties are safe, maintained and fully compliant, we’ll also rely on you to assist with the development and implementation of robust policies, processes and systems to help manage the estate in an efficient and cost-effective manner. In short, it’s an incredibly varied role that will see you make a real difference in how Shelter’s commercial estate is managed.

Role Specifics

You’ll need a degree level qualification in a surveying/property related discipline and full RICS membership. You’ll also need a good understanding of the planning process and building regulations approval system. The confidence to lead and manage multiple projects effectively and ensure they’re delivered on time and on budget, from inception to completion, is important too. Self-motivated, capable of working both unsupervised and as part of a team, and with a positive ‘can do’ attitude, providing solutions, giving sound property advice and negotiating effectively with a variety of key stakeholders comes naturally to you. What’s more, you have good computer literacy skills and are comfortable working with spreadsheets and data.

We’re on the lookout for a Legacy and In Memory Executive to join our Individual Giving Team here at Prostate Cancer UK. This role focuses on legacy and in-memory giving - including gifts in Wills which are some of the most meaningful contributions we receive, helping us fund research that will save and improve lives.

In this role you’ll be part of an exciting time at the charity, joining us as we roll out our new Fundraising Strategy and start developing new products. You’ll be delivering thoughtful, well-timed and engaging communications to a variety of audiences, helping us reach new supporters and deepen relationships with those already connected to us. Your work will play a vital part in raising awareness, encouraging supporters to consider leaving a gift in their Will, and providing meaningful ways to remember loved ones. 

Working closely with our Legacy and In Memory Manager, you’ll help manage relationships with external agencies and collaborate with both internal teams and external partners to make sure our plans are delivered smoothly and successfully. It’s a role where your creativity, empathy and organisation will all come into play. 

You’ll also be responsible for the operational duties of the Prostate Cancer Memorial Sculpture – a poignant tribute to the dads, grandads, brothers and friends we’ve lost to prostate cancer, and a place for families and communities to reflect, remember and raise awareness.

We’re looking for an ambitious Partnerships Executive to help drive income by supporting and building profitable, long-term partnerships with individuals and organisations. Working within the Philanthropy and Partnerships team, the role of the Partnerships Executive is to deliver excellent relationship management to maximise income revenues.

• Manage a portfolio of corporate supporters <£10k ensuring they meet their maximum giving and engagement potential.

Healthwatch was set up in 2013 to champion the rights of health and social care users, and hold the health and social care system to account for how well it engages with the public. During 2026/27 these services are preparing for transition while continuing to build on their legacy.

Healthwatch’s remit covers all publicly funded health and social care services for adults and children.

Healthwatch Brent, Healthwatch Westminster and Healthwatch Kensington & Chelsea are three of 152 local Healthwatch organisations. The Advocacy Project Hosts three services. Purpose of the role

We are looking for a passionate and strategic Philanthropy Manager to help drive our mission to restore wildlife and create a world where wildlife thrives.  This role is focused on raising vital funds from individuals to support ZSL’s global ambition.  You will lead on engaging new and cultivating existing supporters, securing high-value and major gifts. As part of your stewardship and cultivation work, you will build deep, lasting relationships and grow a sustainable income stream that powers our global impact.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation of spending two days a week in the office at a minimum, alongside attending occasional off-site meetings with donors and stakeholders.  As with many major gift roles, there may be some evening or weekend work to support events, donor visits, or special experiences.

Key responsibilities:

Fundraising Strategy: Contribute to strategic planning to ensure a coordinated and donor-centric approach that maximises philanthropic support, in collaboration with the Head of Philanthropy.

Donor Cultivation and Stewardship: To manage and grow a personal portfolio of high-value and major donors, securing income from high-value and major gifts.

Prospect Research: Identifying and researching potential donors who align with the organisation's mission and goals, with support from the Prospect Researcher.

Proposal Writing and Donor Reporting: Craft compelling and personalised proposals and presentations to secure funding, and work closely with the wider fundraising and project delivery teams to produce high quality reports.

Event Management: Support the organisation and delivery of events to cultivate relationships with donors and prospects.

Financial accountability: Keep accurate records and handle accompanying gift administration and recognition.

About you

• Experienced fundraising and donor development professional within the charity or cultural sectors, with a proven track record of securing five- and six-figure gifts from individuals, trusts, foundations, and institutional partners.
• Confident in developing compelling proposals and presentations that engage and inspire individual philanthropists.
• Experience working with fundraising databases and donor management systems.
• A proven track record in working with senior volunteers in a fundraising context.

Are you an experienced arts manager with a good knowledge of the choral singing sector? We are looking for our new General Manager to work across finance, marketing, strategic and artistic direction, development, smooth daily operations, and responsible for safeguarding. The main duties and responsibilities for the General Manager role are as follows:
GENERAL MANAGEMENT
