You will also play a key role in strengthening organisational capability across the global network, supporting training initiatives and capacity building for international colleagues. Acting as a senior adviser on international affairs, you will provide insight to the CEO and contribute to informed decision-making at leadership and board level.

We are looking for a confident and strategic leader with significant experience in international programme management within a development or humanitarian context. You will bring a strong track record in grant fundraising and stakeholder engagement, alongside experience of leading teams and delivering organisational strategy. The successful candidate will be highly organised, commercially aware, and able to translate complex ideas into compelling cases for support. Strong communication skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse global contexts are essential, as is a proactive and resilient approach.

On a day-to-day basis, you will help NEON’s partners develop effective content and digital comms strategy - and offer support and training in both digital skills and ways to stay safe online. You will centre anti-oppression in your work and be able to help people stay safe online, especially those from marginalised backgrounds. You’ll be across emerging trends, using platforms effectively and aware of how to make use of digital to empower our base and persuade people to our causes. You will be across what’s happening online and in the news - and be able to quickly jump on opportunities to tell a compelling alternative story.

This project is part of a wider Communications Hub in which you’ll play an active role, helping to develop the overall strategy and direction of the project. The overall aim of the Hub is to strengthen the communication skills and abilities of progressives in the UK. The Hub has five programmes, and Digital will be the sixth programme.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the strategy development and delivery of the digital comms programme
2. Set up and manage a reactive social media unit which clips and generates new content for spokespeople, working with a pool of consultants to create fresh digital content
3. Work with the rest of the Comms Hub to develop a package of support for online influencers who have the backing of social movements, including broadcast media training, messaging insights and production tools and techniques
4. Project manage a schedule of digital media trainings - including a follow-up to our flagship spokespeople training and a one-day digital strategy training for members of the wider NEON network
5. Provide digital comms support to our spokespeople and allied organisations
6. Working with a digital crisis comms support service - helping spokespeople skill up in countering misinformation and disinformation, and stepping in with tailored support for spokespeople receiving hate online
7. Give regular insight to our partners on digital trends, changes to the media landscape and shifts in the ways digital content is shaping public opinion
8. Play an active role in the wider Comms Hub, attending and feeding into key messaging and narrative development and supporting the Co-Directors with overall strategy

We’re looking for an ambitious Partnerships Executive to help drive income by supporting and building profitable, long-term partnerships with individuals and organisations. Working within the Philanthropy and Partnerships team, the role of the Partnerships Executive is to deliver excellent relationship management to maximise income revenues.

To thrive in this position, you’ll need to:

• Manage a portfolio of corporate supporters <£10k ensuring they meet their maximum giving and engagement potential.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, whose mission is to see a time when no deaf person feels alone, is seeking a Principal Gifts Manager responsible for identifying, cultivating and stewarding high-value donors to the charity giving £100,000 plus.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and deaf recipients since 1982. As well as acting as an ear to their partners and alerting them to sounds, the charity’s clever and expertly trained dogs help deaf people to live life with confidence and independence, whilst providing love, companionship and emotional support.

Following a strategic review, the charity is now looking to build a new Income Generation Directorate to enable it to transform many more lives across the UK. This role will be critical to help Hearing Dogs reach their goals to significantly grow and diversify income.

Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, the post-holder will work closely with senior leaders, trustees and senior stakeholders to solicit high-value gifts, typically of six and seven figures, and to build and deepen long-term relationships between donors and the charity. You will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of potential and current principal-level donors, as well as delivering exceptional stewardship journeys that demonstrate the impact and value of donor support.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in securing major gifts at the six-figure level or above, ideally in a principal or transformational giving context. You will be skilled at building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals, as well as being experienced at developing and delivering complex donor strategies and bespoke giving propositions. Finally, you must be a collaborative team player with strong project management and communication skills.

As Senior Philanthropy Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of the Philanthropy strategy for Trusts and Foundations to ensure the maximisation of revenue and that financial targets are met. You will develop and manage a portfolio of Trusts and Foundations to develop a sustainable income base for the charity, contributing to the income target for the Philanthropy Team and achieving agreed personal income targets and KPIs. You will work proactively, both independently and with colleagues, to ensure that strategic and operational delivery reflects a coordinated and collaborative approach to Trusts and other high value fundraising across the charity. You will also work with the Head of Philanthropy to refine the charity’s fundraising case for support and compelling fundraising and supporter engagement materials for a wide range of audiences; effectively communicating the charity’s vision to internal and external audiences.

To be successful, you will need or need to be: 

• Proven track record of raising significant (six figures plus) single and multi-year gifts from Trusts and Grant makers.
• Experience of developing and writing compelling applications bids and cases for support, presenting complex information that is persuasive and engaging for lay audiences.
• Experience of successfully researching and building short, medium and long term funder pipelines to meet financial targets.
• Excellent communication skills with the power to persuade, motivate and inspire others whilst also delivering clear, concise messages.

The lead role will help to the drive the corporate teams strategic priorities finding innovative ways to maximise income from corporate prospects and partners. The role combines hands-on fundraising and prospect development, with team leadership around development of plans and budgets. 

The role will require you to deputise for the Head of Corporate Partnerships at times when demands across the teams require this including at external partner events and meetings.

About the team 

The Income Generation Directorate at Shelter comprises of the five departments, delivering a mature fundraising programme that has seen continuous year on year diversity and growth. The directorate generates over £48m gross income each year, of which a high percentage is unrestricted. 

Our Corporate Partnerships team is split into two areas - New Partnerships which generates income by securing new relationships with private sector businesses, and the Partnership Management team, where this role sits, is responsible for the growth of Shelter’s voluntary income by managing and developing existing corporate partnerships spanning a variety of sectors. The Role

Reporting to the Head of Trusts, in a lovely team of three. You will play a lead role and help the team raise their income target of c£1.7m income from a range of Trusts and Foundations.

This role will develop and maintain relationships with trusts, foundations and statutory funders through updates and other bespoke communications in order to maximise income.

You will develop compelling funding applications aimed at grants above £30k to secure five- and six-figure gifts in support of the charites vision and mission.

Monitor and report progress towards income targets and other agreed KPIs.

• Experience of maintaining relationships with funders and designing and implementing tailored donor care and stewardship plans.

The Supporter Care Officer role sits within the Supporter Services team, which forms an integral part of the Individual Giving team, within the Marketing Communications Department at Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

Working alongside another Supporter Services Officer and managed by the Supporter Care Manager, you will support the delivery of our Individual Giving programme, specifically in support of our Puppy Sponsorship Scheme.

The delivery of exceptional supporter care across multiple channels lies at the heart of the Supporter Care team and forms an integral part of the Individual Giving retention strategy.

In many instances, you will be the first line of enquiry either by telephone, email, social media, or letter (and occasionally face-to-face) for Hearing Dogs’ supporters.

Building good internal relationships within our Charity is an important part of this role as you will be working with various teams.

KEY TASKS OF THE ROLE:

Stewardship

• Present a professional, positive, and proactive approach to supporter care and adherence to best practice regarding stewardship and supporter engagement.
• Be proactive in stewardship process improvement and development, maintaining up-to-date guidance notes for areas of your work.
• Ensure all interactions with supporters are logged in the CRM system and where appropriate passed on to the relevant team(s) in a timely manner.
• Use KPIs and SLAs to track, measure, and report on performance to ensure supporter care consistently meets our high standards.

Puppy Sponsorship

• Process telephone, post and email enquiries/donations regarding and related to the Puppy Sponsorship Scheme, and ensure that all queries are responded to and resolved within recommended stewardship guidelines and timeframes for the team.
• Assist with maintenance of Puppy Sponsorship data on the Charity’s CRM to ensure supporter records are up-to-date and accurate, flagging any issues to the Supporter Services Manager.
• Promptly action any tasks set via the CRM system.
• Learn other aspects of Puppy Sponsorship activity and process as required, to support the wider team, and ensure that high standards of supporter care are maintained at all times, particularly noting pinch points in the team calendar.

Appeal Data & Fundraising Activity

• Prepare data for Puppy Sponsorship updates and build email communications.
• Assist with the production and cleaning of mailing files to support fundraising appeals, raffles, lotteries, and other products.
• Provide additional support to the other areas of the Supporter Services team, learning processes as necessary at times of increased fundraising activity and to ensure supporter care standards are adequately maintained during holiday periods.

Senior Philanthropy Manager (Trusts and Foundations)
Salary: £52,000 per annum

Are you an experienced arts manager with a good knowledge of the choral singing sector? We are looking for our new General Manager to work across finance, marketing, strategic and artistic direction, development, smooth daily operations, and responsible for safeguarding. You will be managing a small team of experienced staff and have the support of an active Chairman and Board of Trustees. 

The main duties and responsibilities for the General Manager role are as follows:
GENERAL MANAGEMENT
• Lead the small part time team, maintaining regular contact and guiding their
decision-making and activities
• Ensure that all team members are working effectively and have appropriate
support and resources
• Identifying ad hoc need for extra resource and sourcing this
• First point of contact for any enquiries to the Foundation

STRATEGIC & ARTISTIC DIRECTION
• Working closely with the Founding Artistic Director and Board of Trustees to
develop and deliver the artistic and strategic vision for the Foundation.
• Review current strategic goals and develop 3-5 year plan with the Board for all
activities.
• Produce quarterly general management updates for the Trustees.
• Work with the team to help them deliver on their annual targets (choral
courses; Rodolfus Choir; Development; communication; partnerships)

FINANCIAL
• Overseeing the bank account and payment platforms and updating all
payments in and out of the account via our accounting software, XERO.
• Paying invoices and keeping accurate records.
• Liaising with our accountants and providing information for the preparation of
annual accounts.

Objective:

2wish exists to provide support to anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under.

Aims:

• Ensure every Emergency Department and Critical Care unit has a suitable bereavement suite
• Ensure that bereavement boxes are available at each of these hospitals
• Ensure that immediate bereavement support is available for all affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide a professional counselling service and other therapies for those affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide support to individuals who witness the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide support and training to professionals from any sector who may be affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• To advocate and campaign on behalf of suddenly bereaved families

2wish Cymru and 2wish:

2wish has been established since 2012 and has since grown from strength to strength. During this time, we have worked tirelessly to embed our service and ensure that the offer of support is made at the point of death.

We offer an immediate, consistent, high-quality and compassionate service to all individuals affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under. We work in partnership with professionals who refer into the charity on behalf of families, so they don’t have to trawl through the internet for an organisation who may, or may not, be able to support. We provide immediate, and ongoing, support and are here for as long as our families need us.

We were founded as a Welsh organisation providing immediate casework support, as well as ongoing aftercare services including counselling, alternative therapies, play therapy, support groups, support events and a respite cottage.

In January 2024, we expanded into ‘phase one’ England, namely Cheshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Somerset. And in July 2025 we expanded into ‘phase two’ England, namely Merseyside, Devon and Cornwall, Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Context of role:

The Headof Finance & Business Services will be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for ensuring the charity is financially sustainable, legally compliant and operationally efficient.

This role provides strategic oversight of finance, governance, HR, IT, facilities, risk management, and business administration, enabling the charity to deliver its mission effectively and responsibly.

Line management responsibilities, including Business Services Officer and Finance and Administration Officer.

Key responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

• Act as a senior advisor to the CEO and Board of Trustees on financial strategy, organisational performance, risk, and governance.
• Lead on the development and implementation of long-term financial plans, budgets, and business services strategies.
• Contribute to organisational planning, change management, and culture-building across the charity.

Financial Management

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including grants and foundations, forecasting, management accounts, statutory accounts, and cashflow.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance within the Charity SORP, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Lead on financial risk management, reserve’s policy, investment planning, and financial controls.
• Oversee payroll, pension administration, procurement, and contract management.
• Support fundraising colleagues with financial modelling, grant budgets, and reporting to funders.

Business Services Oversight

• Lead and develop the business services function, which include IT, facilities, data protection and health & safety.
• Oversee HR policies, employee relations, recruitment processes, and wellbeing initiatives with the support of our HR consultants.
• Ensure reliable IT systems, digital security, and effective use of Microsoft 365 and organisational software with the support of our IT consultants ITCS.
• Manage the Business Services Officer who oversees office facilities, leases, equipment, and supplier relationships.
• Hold line management responsibilities for our Business Services Officer and Finance and Administration Officer.

Leadership and People Management

• Provide inspirational leadership to finance and business services staff.

Person specification:

Essential

• Fully or part qualified in accountancy or qualified by experience (QBE).
• Proven financial leadership experience within the third sector or a, challenging values-driven organisation.
• Strong understanding of charity finance, including SORP, restricted/unrestricted, designated funds, grant applications and reporting.
• Experience of managing governance, risk, compliance, and business administrative functions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively whilst providing strong challenge and professional insight.
• Demonstrable commitment to the mission and values of 2wish.
• Assist with compliance of the Equality Act, Employment Rights Act / Bill & General Data Protection Regulations.

• Experience supporting or working alongside a Board of Trustees.

What we do for you:

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Normal office hours are 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday, although alternative hours may be worked with line manager agreement. Work outside office hours may sometimes be necessary and will be compensated for by time off in lieu.

Annual leave: 28 days plus bank holidays. Annual leave steadily increases after five years of service. Annual leave and statutory holidays are calculated on a pro rata basis where applicable.

Pension: 2wish operate a contributory pension scheme. 2wish will auto-enrol you into the scheme in accordance with it’s auto-enrolment obligations.
