The role
You will provide high-quality legal advice and representation at IAA Level 2/3 or Solicitor standard. Your diverse casework will range from assisting sponsored workers on high-risk visas, to managing complex human rights cases and supporting victims of modern slavery and trafficking. Crucially, your work will not happen in isolation. You will work closely with our employment advice team on overlapping cases, collaborate with policy and comms colleagues to evidence systemic issues, and help deliver public legal information and training.
About you
We seek an enthusiastic professional with at least 3 years of experience delivering high-quality immigration advice, who demonstrates a deep empathy for the experiences of vulnerable migrants.
You will also have:

Level 2 or 3 IAA accreditation OR status as a qualified Solicitor eligible to practice in England and Wales.

A 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in law or a related subject.

At least 3 years’ experience providing immigration legal advice in compliance with IAA/SRA standards.

The money raised through this role will support Boaz’s work with people who are facing or experiencing homelessness because of their insecure, changing or uncertain immigration status. Day to day, you will research prospective funders, prepare persuasive applications and cases for support, and produce accurate, engaging reports showing what funders’ support has achieved. You will communicate directly with existing and potential funders by email, telephone and, where appropriate, in meetings.

We are looking for a compassionate, organised and collaborative Hospital Liaison Coordinator to support the delivery, embedding and sustainability of the National Bereavement Care Pathway in England.
This role will help strengthen Sands’ hospital liaison work by building, supporting and developing our network of Hospital Liaison Volunteers. The Southmead Project is seeking an experienced and motivated Fundraiser to support the charity’s long-term financial sustainability.
The postholder will identify, research and secure funding from trusts, foundations, charitable bodies, statutory funders and other appropriate sources. As Charleston approaches its 50th anniversary in 2030, the 2030 Campaigns Manager will coordinate a number of projects to support Charleston's long-term ambitions. Working closely with the Director, who leads Charleston's endowment campaign, and the Head of Development, the postholder will play a key role in supporting Charleston's £15 million endowment campaign and coordinating the 50 for 50 campaign, which aims to secure 50 significant Bloomsbury works by 2030.
