To achieve their vision, they are looking for an Individual Giving Manager with a focus on acquisition to work alongside the Head of Individual Giving across regular gifts, appeals, lottery, raffle and other new products.
The Individual Giving Manager drives the recruitment of new supporters and supports the stewardship of warm audience, generating sustainable income for Shaftesbury. The proportion of acquisition focus v retention focus is likely around 70/30.
This role focuses on maximising long-term value through innovative and impactful multichannel campaigns including reactivating lapsed supporters, optimising supporter conversion and delivering engaging onboarding experiences. The Individual Giving Manager will work on growing regular giving, cash and gaming pipelines and manage exciting projects which could include digital, DRTV, face-to- face, telemarketing, direct mail and radio. The role will provide assistance to the Head of Individual Giving with all retention activity, including cash appeals and newsletters.
Shaftesbury is happy to consider fundraisers or officer level candidates looking to step up into their first manager level role. At present this role doesn’t line manage, so management experience is not necessary. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm for fundraising, supporter journeys and creative thinking and may have experience within a UK based charity in either IG and legacies, community fundraising, corporate or philanthropy.
This role is hybrid, with 4 days per month on average at either the Gateshead office or London office. The one role is being advertised twice to ensure candidates from both geographic locations see the role within their search remit and feel able to apply.

About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Philanthropy Officer to support the College’s fundraising and donor engagement activities.
Working closely with the Philanthropy Manager and Head of Development, you will help secure philanthropic support for a range of College priorities, including research, education, global surgery and heritage. Role purpose
This is a critical, income-generating role responsible for growing Perennial’s Individual Giving programme and increasing unrestricted income, with a primary focus on supporter acquisition and on supporter development and retention.
This role translates strategy into delivery by converting audiences into supporters, and supporters into income, so our Services team can provide meaningful impact in people’s lives and income into meaningful impact.
You will own and deliver acquisition income targets, and working with our Marketing team lead on the development of audience-led, multi-channel campaigns that attract, convert and retain supporters.

We are now looking for a Fundraising Officer to join our friendly and supportive fundraising team.

As Fundraising Officer, you will be at the heart of our supporter journey, providing exceptional stewardship to donors and fundraisers while helping to maximise income across a range of fundraising activities. You will be responsible for processing all fundraising income accurately and efficiently, taking ownership of the essential administrative tasks that keep our fundraising running smoothly. You will manage income from individual supporters, including regular donors, and legacy supporters, and lead on our annual our Winter Appeal.
Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, including our homes and services, you will help support local fundraising activity and identify opportunities to strengthen supporter engagement and encourage continued support. You will maintain accurate records on our database, generate reports and undertake the essential administration that underpins successful fundraising.
We are looking for someone who has experience in fundraising, supporter care, customer service or another relationship-focused role. Experience of working with databases and handling financial and numerical information accurately is essential. You will be confident building and maintaining positive relationships with a range of people and will enjoy providing a high standard of service. Strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities are all essential.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and database systems, are also required.
Experience within the charity, not-for-profit or care sectors would be advantageous, as would experience of helping to achieve fundraising objectives and income targets.

The Head of Fundraising and Communications plays a pivotal role in shaping and driving Bowel Research UK's fundraising strategies and audience engagement initiatives.
This position is responsible for embedding and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies, growing the charity’s supporter base and income, building up new and under-developed income streams and communicating effectively with their audiences to expand their reach, and encourage financial and non-financial support to deliver the organisations mission.
You will have the autonomy and scope to drive elements of your work and take ownership of your own objectives. You will be required to collaborate on decisions to shape and deliver initiatives, programmes and processes as required for each area of income delivery.
Key to the success of this role is a strong understanding of individual giving fundraising – an area that is underdeveloped at Bowel Research UK. This role blends the strategic oversight and leadership of a Head of Fundraising role, with the hands-on expertise of an IG fundraiser. Experience across other income streams would be a huge benefit as the role leads all fundraising income streams, but experience in individual giving is essential.
The successful candidate for this role will be someone who has already operated at a senior level within a charity such as at Senior Manager level, or Head of in a specific income stream.

Fawcett is recruiting a Fundraising Manager to own day-to-day fundraising delivery and help strengthen how fundraising works across the organisation. This is a manager-level role with real responsibility: bringing structure, judgement and follow-through to live fundraising activity, leading trusts and foundations as a core technical area, and helping develop wider fundraising opportunities over time.
You would work closely with our Head of Income and Organisational Development, who leads the strategic side of this work, while this role acts as its operational counterpart. We are looking for someone with strong fundraising experience, especially in trusts and foundations, excellent bid and report writing skills, and the ability to operate autonomously in a small organisation.
