An exciting opportunity has arisen within Sue Ryder for a Senior Legacy and In Memory Fundraising Manager to lead, manage and develop our Legacy and In Memory Strategies to deliver sustainable long-term income growth.

Sue Ryder has a dedicated focus on investing in our legacy giving and we are looking for a passionate and dynamic leader to take on this integral role within the organisation.
Reporting to the Head of High Value and Legacy Fundraising you will:

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the development, delivery and implementation of the Legacy Strategy to deliver sustainable long-term growth
• Lead the Legacy and In-Memory team to maximise Legacy & In-Memory income for Sue Ryder and ensure an excellent stewardship and supporter experience
• Be able to interpret and act on data insight and produce robust reports about legacy income and the legacy pipeline
• Work with colleagues to ensure excellent stewardship is followed through in the Charity’s administration of legacy gifts
• Take the lead on the annual planning budgets, forecasting and variance reporting on monthly management accounts for Legacy and In-Memory Giving
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and innovations in Legacy and In Memory Giving
• Plan and lead innovative marketing campaigns including using digital channels
• Lead and manage the promotion of Legacy & In Memory Giving, working closely with colleagues in the care centres and across the organisation to promote a Legacy culture and drive growth across the legacy pipeline

The successful applicant will bring:

• Extensive Legacy & In Memory fundraising experience with a minimum of two years at manager level
• A track record of delivering innovation in generating income from Legacies
• Experience of planning, implementing and monitoring large budgets to agreed deadlines
• Experience of leading, inspiring and empowering colleagues to promote legacies and deliver excellent results
• Excellent communication skills – written and oral with the proven ability to communicate with persuasion and credibility
• Excellent Marketing skills to deliver growth from consumer marketing across multiple mediums including digital
• Experience of managing and motivating advertising/marketing agencies to deliver exceptional results
• The ability to analyse data and produce detailed reporting on campaigns and performance
• A thorough understanding of the Legacy Administration process and ILM standards

It is essential you are educated to degree level or have direct sector experience of Legacy Fundraising at manager level for a minimum of two years.

We are looking to recruit a talented and self-motivated Senior Business Development Manager to join us in June 2024 on a 12 month fixed term maternity cover contract.

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Development, this role is essential to driving forward the implementation of Creative United’s business development plans across multiple programme and project strands. The ideal candidate will have significant levels of experience in the field of digital fundraising and of using digital to drive supporter action online and offline. This should include experience of designing, planning and delivering successful digital activities, such as designing and optimising the donor journey, SEM/SEO/SMO, social media (paid social) and/or digital advertising campaigns (paid search, Google grants) that generate incremental income. In terms of skills, you will need to be creative, entrepreneurial, be able to think strategically, design effective data-based action plans, and possess excellent project management skills. Finally, alongside strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, you will be proactive and results-driven with a ‘can do’ attitude to work.

The Role

Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Team Manager - Young People on a Permanent basis for two new Supported Housing Schemes in Lewisham, due to open in June 2024.

You, as the Team Manager will support a team of housing support workers to support our young customers to remain in their home and take an active part in the community.

Both schemes are part of Peabody's well established Young Persons and Complex Needs service in London and will provide temporary housing for young people who are homeless aged between 16 to 17 years. 

What we’re looking for:

• Are you experienced in providing support as a senior support worker or as a team manager to people who have experienced trauma and have complex and challenging support needs?
• Do you have any previous experience in the housing support sector and a good knowledge of statutory and community services?
• Do you have some experience of managing and motivating a team to deliver a high-quality support service?
• Do you have experience of assessment and management of individual needs and risks?

We’re looking for an experienced strategic planning manager with sound knowledge of planning and project management tools. You will act as a trusted senior advisor across the senior leadership of the charity.
 

You’ll need:

- Previous experience in a strategy and planning role.
- Experience supporting annual planning and end to end project management.
- Exceptional influencing and organisational skills.
- A passion for marketing and communications strategy.
- Ability to develop new ways of working and implement processes.
- Ability to make critical connections, meet deadlines and effectively problem solve.

About the Team:

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will work with the marketing and communications leadership team, and stakeholders across the organisation, to drive a strong focus on operational delivery and continuous improvement of the charities marketing and communications activity.

About You

Are you experienced in new business supporter acquisition in national charities? Have you got 3 years experience winning new business for charities? Are you familiar with community fundraising and supporter engagement? Have you managed a team towards an ambitious target? About the Role

You will lead 2 Business Development Managers directly to deliver a 6-figure team new business target across the country. You will also support the upskilling and support of our Area Fundraising Managers in their local new business endeavours. You will ensure a solid strategy, creative prospecting plan and pipeline management to achieve our agreed targets as well as have your own personal pipeline. You will also support the team in liaising with our national Corporate Partnership team, Marketing teams and more to ensure the team have everything they need to identify, prospect, win and report on new business.

Head of Marketing and Communications
Salary: £52,915.20 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Location: Hybrid - Remote working with requirement to regularly work from HQ in Exeter or any other Devon Air Ambulance premises.

The Role

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing and communications leader to join the Devon Air Ambulance team and help us tell our story.

Supported by a team of six, and working across the charity, the role will design and deliver marketing and communications strategies to support our mission, vision and strategic aims.

From developing our digital marketing across social media and a new website, to implementing a new visual identity, to underpinning our fundraising activities with creative and compelling communications, the breadth of this role provides a unique opportunity for someone to make a significant contribution to our ongoing success.

The Candidate

We’re looking for an outstanding marketing and communications leader who is strategically minded and delivery focused. They will be able to lead and develop an existing team and be adept at building and maintaining productive working relationships. They will seek out new opportunities to add value to existing activity and develop new ventures in collaboration with colleagues from a diverse range of different disciplines across the organisation. The ideal candidate will bring experience from a charity background and be used to supporting a broad portfolio of income generating activities. They will also be as comfortable leading communications internally as they are externally.

The Package 

Salary: £52,915.20 per annum.
