The Faith and Membership lead plays a key role in the delivery of strategy focusing on faith and membership based organisation partnerships and beyond to increase income through innovation, partnership growth/retention, better collaboration and integrated relationship management. This role has a heavy emphasis on making new connections and building new partnerships to compliment UNICEF’s work and increase impact for children.

The successful candidate will be skilled in developing strategies for transformational funding with tangible experience in successfully securing new, multi-year gifts and building meaningful partnerships across a diverse group of partners. They will need to be results focused with an ability to connect, communicate and build effective relationships at all levels.

Our Individual Giving programme is central to our fundraising strategy to increase 
our unrestricted, sustainable income. This is a key role, focused on recruiting and stewarding 
donors across a range of channels including face-to-face, direct mail and digital.

ECRN Regional Manager | The British Academy

The British Academy – the UK’s national body for the humanities and social sciences - is seeking a Regional Manager to join our friendly and collaborative team in the Research Directorate, providing key support in the delivery of the Early Career Researcher Network.

The ECRN Regional Manager will work closely with the Head of ECRN to oversee the day-to-day operations and logistics of the Network. This includes line management of three Regional Coordinators, as well as supporting budget oversight and financial management across all regional activities.

You will contribute to the development and implementation of efficient working systems, policies, and processes, and collaborate with the Head of ECRN to identify and resolve operational challenges as they arise.

A core responsibility of the role is to lead on the delivery and coordination of ECRN activities. Job Summary: 

The Corporate & Events Fundraiser will help to drive income for the organisation through the effective planning, delivery and operation of CRASH’s growing Corporate Patron programme and event portfolio. 

This is a pivotal role in enabling CRASH to achieve its goals – helping developing relationships with new and long-term corporate patrons. Communicating the organisation’s work to build lasting relationships and future support. It is an important role as one of the first points of contact for CRASH, both internally and externally. 

Reporting to the Corporate Partnership Manager, the Corporate and Events Fundraiser will be responsible for driving engagement, loyalty and income through innovative corporate patron fundraising activities and events.

Key Responsibilities 

1. Corporate Patrons  

• Ensure excellent stewardship of existing and new corporate donors, working with the Corporate Fundraising Manager to create innovative strategies to generate high levels of loyalty and commitment, fostering and enhancing their long-term relationship with the charity. This includes organising bi-annual meetings. 

• Produce annual Corporate Patrons Social Impact Reports. 

• Organise dates for lunch and learn presentations with Corporate Patrons. 

• Lead of fundraising campaigns such as Big March and Christmas Campaign. These campaigns aim to achieve an income target set annually. 

• Work with colleagues to ensure that any potential corporate patrons are communicated with and are developed to their fullest potential. 

2. Events / Award Evening  

• Organising and managing CRASH Events whilst promoting the charity's cause and engaging with attendees and volunteers. 

• Support Corporate Patrons with their fundraising initiatives provide materials. QR codes and guidance on Just Giving platforms. 

• Manage the Run for Charity Relationships. Draft content and communications to promote running events. Manage relationships with individuals participating in fundraising runs to ensure their needs are met and encourage continued support. 

• Manage the attendance at Award Evenings preparing for attendance at award evenings and charitable collections which may include securing raffle prizes from Corporate Patrons. This may be outside of working hours, and you will receive time off in lieu to compensate. 

• Recruiting volunteers from Corporate Patrons for regular events and award evenings. 

• Ensure events are delivered to a high standard of safety, accessibility, participant experience and financial success.

3. Finance  

• Acknowledge corporate patron donations, attending cheque presentations and photo opportunities as necessary, working with Marketing and Communications Manager to generate positive media coverage. 

• Ensure the monthly management of all income is recorded and reconciled accurately and promptly on Access database. 

• Ensure Gift Aid claims are completed and submitted after each CRASH event working in collaboration with the Finance Manager. 

4. General  

• Ensure Fundraising Calendar and activities are up to date on the website 

• Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Manager to ensure regular and engaging content to promote fundraising activity and initiatives. 

• Utilising ACT Database, maintain an accurate record of supporter details and activity ensuring they receive relevant and timely communication resulting in ongoing fundraising opportunities and development of long-term support 

• To be aware of and adhere to the Institute of Fundraising Codes of Conduct and Codes of Best Practice. 

• To have up to date knowledge, understanding and compliance of GDPR regulations including the handling and protecting personal data in accordance with GDPR guidelines 

• To represent the charity publicly when required. 

• Ad-hoc travel to project visits, events and Corporate Patron meetings.

• CRASH is a small team of 7 so it is vitally important that this role builds strong collaborative working practices across the organisation as well as with external stakeholders.

Contract Details

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational and marketing plans for allocated events to ensure timely delivery within budget and meet income targets.
• Monitor financial performance, KPIs, and supporter engagement, adjusting strategies as needed to maximise success.

The two regional roles currently available are fundamental to the delivery of the third phase of the Seed Sovereignty Programme across southern and western England.

Working alongside the north east based England Lead, each role involves supporting seed networks across a dedicated region (southern or west of England- see regional map)  through training, mentoring, and routes to market, as well as engaging with a range of groups and individuals through events, workshops and talks.  The role involves collaborating with the rest of the Seed Sovereignty Programme team remotely to share best practices and develop the delivery of the work nationally.

Key Responsibilities for the role:

Seed knowledge:  Understanding agroecology, small-scale seed production, seed sovereignty, and open-pollinated varieties.

· Has a good understanding of seed saving and agroecological seed systems.

· Supports outreach and communications to share knowledge on seed saving and agroecological seed systems.

· Assists in the identification and development of new regional opportunities.

Collaboration: Building strong, respectful relationships.

· Works closely with the Regional Leads and Coordinators through team meetings, working groups and collaborative projects to ensure smooth communication and delivery.

· Is the “go to” person for enquiries regarding activities within the region.

· Builds and maintains strong relationships with regional network partners.

· Develops new collaborations opportunities within the network and beyond it where strategically appropriate.  

Training & Facilitation: delivering training sessions (in-person and online) for diverse groups.

· Supports the design, organisation, and delivery of training sessions and workshops (both in-person and online) for diverse participants at a range of levels.

· Assists with the coordination of regional training logistics and participant engagement.

Project Coordination: supporting events, and multi-stakeholder projects across regions.

· Works with the Programme team to deliver the bi-annual Seed Gathering and Seed TV webinars.

· Actively takes part in regional initiatives such as variety trials, mentoring programmes, seed production projects, and collaborative networking events.

· Liases with partners and participants to track progress and maintain project momentum.

Monitoring & Reporting: Collecting and presenting data.

· Monitor and track progress for the region in order to inform learning, evaluate success and report to funders.

Communication

· Confident with social media, websites and online working platforms in order to communicate the work and engage with the network effectively.

· A confident writer who can capture and express stories from the work and network in a variety of mediums, from blogs to social media posts to narrative funding reports.

The Philanthropy Officer is an essential role within Amref UK's Supporter Engagement Team. It combines fundraising, supporter care, prospect research, event management and administration – with a focus on delivering our philanthropy strategy to increase unrestricted income. You will play a key role in supporting the team to raise income from small Trusts & Foundations, Mid-Level Donors and Legacy gifts, assisting the Philanthropy Manager with account management of existing donors as well as prospect research.

This role is about proactively building excellent relationships both in person and virtually, requiring confidence, a positive outlook, and the ability to work collaboratively. Previous experience in donor stewardship or relationship management is essential. You’ll be a fast learner with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, keen take on new challenges, excited about working in international development and invested in Amref’s mission. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in high-value fundraising, learning a range of skills from prospect researching, supporter stewardship to organising donor events.
