The ISM is now looking for an experienced and talented Senior Communications Officer to join our team, reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding writer and communications professional to help raise the profile of the ISM, promote the value of membership and engage professional musicians through high-quality content and campaigns.
You will lead on the planning, writing, editing and publication of content across a wide range of channels, including the ISM website, newsletters, publications, marketing materials and external media. You will be responsible for developing compelling and persuasive content that supports membership growth, strengthens the ISM brand and communicates the organisation's work effectively to members and the wider music sector.
You will also play a key role in managing the ISM's content strategy and SEO activity, working closely with the Website and Marketing Manager to improve content performance, increase visibility and attract new audiences through search. This will include content planning, keyword research, link-building activity and reporting on performance and engagement.
Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will identify opportunities to showcase the work of the ISM Group, including its campaigns, events, resources, legal services and thought leadership. You will also work closely with the Chief Executive on the production of Music Journal, secure profile-raising opportunities for senior representatives and support the development of speeches, presentations and briefing materials.
You will have significant experience in a communications, content, copywriting or marketing role and be able to demonstrate exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills. You will have experience of producing engaging content for a variety of audiences and channels, alongside a strong understanding of content marketing, brand management and SEO best practice. If possible, you should have a music background.

About the role

Your line management skills and experience will also ensure that you empower and support your team to work to the best of their ability. We’re seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join our team and support our mission to end homelessness. This role will lead and optimise our digital marketing activity across paid media, website, SEO, email and campaigns, helping more people discover, understand and support Social Bite. We’re looking for someone who can bring strong writing, creative thinking and digital know-how together, creating clear and compelling online journeys that inspire people to take action.
What you’ll be doing:
Working as part of our Fundraising and Marketing team, you’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing & Communications, Senior Communications Manager and Social Media and Marketing Executive to strengthen how Social Bite shows up online. You’ll bring together exceptional writing skills, creative flair, goal-orientated thinking and digital experience to ensure Social Bite’s website, advertising, email and campaign channels perform at their best. You’ll be an essential part of the team helping to grow awareness, support fundraising, drive footfall to our coffee shops and reach new audiences across the UK.
Shape clear, compelling digital content: write and develop copy for website pages, landing pages, emails, paid adverts and campaign activity, making sure our content feels human, useful and true to Social Bite’s mission.
Lead our digital performance: plan, manage and optimise paid advertising across search and social platforms, making sure budgets are used well and campaigns support fundraising, commercial and awareness goals.
Make our website work harder: take ownership of website content, SEO and user journeys so people can quickly find what they need, understand our impact and take action, whether that’s donating, visiting a shop, joining a campaign or getting in touch.

We’re seeking a senior media and PR manager (fundraising and brand) to join our talented and ambitious media and PR team at an exciting time of growth for the charity.
As part of our 2025-2030 organisational strategy, we have ambitious plans to increase awareness, understanding, trust and engagement, to support the impact we can have for people affected by breast cancer and this role will play a key part in helping realise these ambitions.

Leading media and PR for our brand marketing activity, you’ll work closely with the brand marketing team and have a unique opportunity to work closely with our world/industry leading brand marketing agency to provide counsel and support the shaping of creative media and PR activity that best amplifies the charity’s brand across the year. The Marketing and Support Administrator will be tasked with creating newsletters, data entry, management of client files, dealing with invoices, receipts, social media campaigns, attending promotional and communal events, creating board meeting agendas and other vital tasks to keep the charity running smoothly. We are hoping someone with an optimal outlook and positive attitude can join our team. This role would require someone with a passion for the cause; tackling social isolation and loneliness experienced by older people.

We're looking for a Digital Marketing Officer to support the delivery of paid digital campaigns that help Barnardo's reach new supporters and customers and grow our supporter base.
