ABOUT THE ROLE
RISE is now seeking a full-time Fundraising Manager to help deliver its fundraising strategy. RISE has a mixed funding model and receives funding from the private sector, philanthropic and corporate foundations, bilateral agencies, and potentially, multilateral institutions. This role will play a pivotal role in executing the fundraising strategy, focusing on proposal development, donor engagement, and day-to-day delivery of fundraising activities.
We are looking for a hands-on, results-driven team member who can turn ideas into actionable proposals, manage multiple workstreams, and follow through to completion. The successful candidate will share RISE’s commitment to advancing equality for women workers in global supply chains and will help scale our impact through sustained, year-on-year income growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of a highly matrixed team, effective collaboration across other team functions and particularly with in-country teams and program managers will be critical to success. The Fundraising Manager will report to the Associate Director, Partnerships.
The role includes the following specific responsibilities. These may evolve as priorities are established:
Proposal and Concept Development
- Translate RISE’s strategy into compelling and fundable project proposals and concept notes.
- Lead the day-to-day coordination of proposal development, including drafting project narratives, developing logical frameworks or theories of change, and ensuring alignment with donor requirements.
- Lead or coordinate the preparation of proposal budgets in collaboration with finance colleagues.
- Develop and maintain high-quality fundraising and communication materials.
- Work with the wider RISE team to maintain an active and healthy grant pipeline.
Donor Engagement
- Support the expansion of RISE’s donor base by identifying and pursuing new prospects, particularly among philanthropic foundations, corporate foundations, and bilateral donors.
- Maintain regular communication with current and potential donors, ensuring they are informed and engaged in RISE’s work.
- Support donor outreach and pitch preparation, working closely with RISE leadership and subject matter experts.
- Keep the team informed with up-to-date donor intelligence and funding opportunities.
Fundraising Planning and Coordination
- Implement and operationalize the fundraising and partnership strategy, ensuring effective follow-through on agreed priorities and activities through clear annual workplans developed in collaboration with the Associate Director, Partnerships.
- Contribute insights and lessons learned from day-to-day implementation to inform periodic strategy reviews and planning discussions.
- Drive operational excellence by ensuring systems, tools, and processes for fundraising are efficient and up to date.
EXPERIENCE
- 8–10 years of relevant professional experience, including successful track record in developing and winning grants.
- Proven ability to translate strategic direction into actionable plans and high-quality deliverables.
- Strong writing skills, with experience developing concepts, proposals, and budgets for complex, multi-year projects.
- Good understanding of gender equality, women’s economic empowerment and the private sector’s role in achieving the SDGs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of international donor trends and existing networks across foundations, corporate donors, and governments.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams and cultures.
- Fluent in English (other languages an asset).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.

About the Role
We're looking for a compassionate and driven Service Manager to join our residential service based in Havering. This role supports residents in temporary housing who are facing challenges with substance use. As a Service Manager, you’ll lead a dedicated team, making sure we deliver high quality support, performance and improvements across our service whilst representing values of the organisation. You'll play a hands on role in supporting individuals facing addiction, homelessness, and complex needs guiding them towards stability, independence, and brighter futures.
The service focuses on providing a 24 hour, 25 bed accommodation service to residents who are deemed to be high risk. They support those who are experiencing homelessness. All admissions are jointly agreed, and placements reviewed at a weekly Complex Needs Panel chaired by the local authority. Residents are agreed on the basis that they are:

- Overseeing support related to substance misuse, ensuring effective interventions and pathways for service users
- Line Management and Leadership, supporting your team providing advice, guidance and support throughout their employment lifecycle
- Support the Service Manager in leading the day to day operational delivery of the service
- Risk Management ownership, ensuring processes and policies are followed
- Property and Housing Management, ensuring the accommodation meets our requirements, and repairs and maintenance are regularly reported and completed
- Financial Management, including petty cash and budget management
- Contract management and Internal auditing, admin, and general other duties as required
About You
We are seeking a passionate, driven and motivated colleague to lead this service in a trauma informed and inclusive way. Someone who is knowledgeable in the needs of our residents, particularly substance misuse and can support the team in delivering excellence. You will be driven with passion for what we do, and be able to work flexibly to meet service needs, providing new ideas and opportunities to develop the service further to continue to achieve excellence!
- Understanding and/or practical knowledge of the social and societal marginalisation that can be attached to people with substance abuse issues, addiction, exploitation, homelessness and within the criminal justice system
- Previous leadership experience
- Experience of working with confidently and ability to provide advice, lead a team on all aspects of the service such as resident related enquiries which can include housing, substance abuse support, signposting
- Ability to motivate and empower a team to achieve service KPI's through direct leadership
- Willingness and ability to work flexibly to meet service needs
- IT Proficiency, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to navigate and learn new case management systems and other types of organisational software

ROLE:
As part of the Supporter Care team, the Supporter Care Assistant will help provide an excellent supporter experience and through every interaction will seek to build meaningful relationships with our supporters which increases their level of satisfaction and engagement. Whether you are handling donations, maintaining a high-quality database, responding to various supporter enquiries and fulfilling their requests, responding to complaints and feedback, or providing supportive administrative services to the department, the delivery of outstanding customer service to our many supporters will remain at the heart of your role and be the focus of your efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Children & Young People area at IRMO as an ESOL Tutor working with Spanish and Portuguese-speaking children and young people who have recently arrived in the country, speak little English and whose families are often still navigating the school admissions processes to enable them to access compulsory education in the UK. The overall aim of IRMO ESOL provision is to equip children with the English Language skills they need to: thrive and perform well at school and beyond; build their social, emotional and communication skills; reach their full potential; make new friends and reduce isolation.
The Children ESOL Tutor will lead on the delivery of weekly creative ESOL classes for three age groups: 5-8, 8-12 and 13-19 year olds alongside the help of volunteers. The post-holder will focus solely on delivering engaging ESOL classes to our children and young people, supporting their language development and confidence in a welcoming and inclusive environment. This role is supported by a lead ESOL tutor, and all class planning and resource development will be provided.
The teacher will also work closely with volunteers and contribute to short session reflections and brief/debrief discussions with the lead teacher before and after classes. The only administrative responsibility will be to complete class registers and occasional written reflections on individual children’s participation and progress.
The post-holder will have had ESOL experience working with children and young people (including online teaching) and will be familiar with the issues faced by migrant, asylum-seeking and refugee children in the UK. Ability to speak intermediate Spanish is essential for the role and knowledge of Portuguese or willingness to learn is a bonus. Availability during term-time and after-school hours is essential.
To ensure continuity of delivery, the postholder is expected to work during all Lambeth school term teaching weeks.

How are staff supported to work remotely?
VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including Team Leaders are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community.

About The Role
Your role will be to oversee the delivery of the service, making sure the programme meets its aim, line managing the Complex Lives Navigator. You will also be responsible for compiling reports, including case studies, for the commissioner demonstrating Reach Out’s activities and impact.

About You
You have experience of developing relationships and building trust with both individuals and partner organisations and excellent skills in communication and problem-solving. With demonstrable experience of performance reporting, chairing and facilitating meetings and workshops, you are able to establish joint working protocols and referral pathways with partner organisations. Experience of analysing data and developing insights to monitor and evaluate the service, along with experience of safeguarding frameworks, line management and experience and understanding of drug and alcohol services will be key.

About The Team
The Reach Out Service supports people who have substance use issues, taking the support to them either in their accommodation or where they are rough sleeping. The service supports people with their current goals, which can include areas such as starting prescription medication, group work, continued substance use and abstinence.
You will be part of the Dorset Hub which has offices in Bournemouth and Weymouth and will link in with other Shelter teams, including the community advice and legal teams. About this key role
You will take the lead on applications and relationship management of Trusts and Foundations, working with the Trusts and Foundations Officer and Head of Voluntary Fundraising to raise £2m from Trusts and Foundations each year, plus manage campaigns and events to raise £200,000 across Appeals, Individual Giving, and Legacy per year. Housing and Service Delivery
• Provide strong and effective support to residents in Acorn House that focuses on their strengths and goals, and is delivered in a personalised way and within a framework of active engagement and co-production
