Job purpose
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and organised candidate to join Clinks and play a key role in delivering our annual programme of events and training.
The Events and Training Officer will lead on the planning, coordination and delivery of Clinks’ busy calendar of member engagement activity, including online and in-person events, training sessions, and our flagship annual conference.
Events and training at Clinks are delivered collaboratively across teams, and the post-holder will help coordinate this programme while also taking an active role in delivery. They will ensure that Clinks’ events and training offer is high quality, accessible, well-promoted, and responsive to the needs of the voluntary sector working in criminal justice.
This role requires someone who is confident managing multiple priorities, working collaboratively across the organisation, and building strong relationships with external stakeholders.

1. Duties and key responsibilities
Events and Training Programme Coordination
Coordinate the delivery of Clinks’ annual programme of events and training, working with colleagues across the organisation to ensure a consistent, high-quality offer.
Manage the full event lifecycle, including planning, logistics, speaker and facilitator liaison, registration, delivery support and follow-up.
Act as the main point of contact for all events and training enquiries, providing excellent support to members, delegates and partners.
Ensure events are delivered in the most cost-effective way, to budget, and in line with Clinks’ internal processes.
Support staff across Clinks to deliver events and training sessions, including providing guidance, templates, systems support and coordination.
Promote all events and training opportunities through appropriate channels, working closely with communications colleagues.
Manage relationships with external facilitators and event partners to ensure smooth delivery and strong collaboration.
Monitor pricing and access to ensure smaller organisations are supported, while also contributing to Clinks’ income generation targets.
Collect, analyse and report on feedback and evaluation data to inform continuous improvement.
Annual Conference Planning and Delivery
Lead on the planning and delivery of Clinks’ annual conference, working closely with colleagues across the organisation.
Coordinate venue liaison, suppliers, programme planning, speaker management, delegate communications and event-day delivery.
Develop and manage the conference project timeline, ensuring milestones are met and risks are proactively addressed.
Support opportunities for sponsorship, partnerships and income generation linked to the conference.
Ensure the conference reflects Clinks’ strategic priorities and provides an engaging, inclusive experience for members and stakeholders.
Membership Engagement Support
Support the wider Membership team to ensure events and training align with Clinks’ membership offer and benefits.
Encourage member engagement through forums, learning opportunities and networking events.
Work with colleagues to identify unmet need across the sector and shape future event and training activity accordingly.
Contribute to the development and implementation of Clinks’ membership and engagement strategy, particularly where it connects to events delivery.
Systems, Administration and Digital Support
Oversee event booking and registration systems, ensuring accurate records and smooth user journeys.
Maintain and update relevant website content linked to events, training and learning resources.
Ensure event data is recorded accurately to support evaluation and reporting.
Support ongoing improvements to systems and processes for managing events and training efficiently.

The role
Drive is a high risk / high harm domestic abuse perpetration intervention. Its sole aim is to reduce the risk posed by those using high levels of harm towards family members and / or (ex) partners. This is achieved via disruption, diversion and direct behaviour change work, where safe to do so, within a multi-agency framework.
The Case Manager will strive to work one-to-one with perpetrators who have been identified as high risk to pro-actively secure engagement, influence attitudinal and behavioural change and connect with complementary services. To do this, the Case Manager will work with local agencies to design a co-ordinated, strategic individual intervention plan to address identified needs and risks and promote understanding of the impact of abusive behaviours. However, it may not always be safe or possible to meet with the perpetrator. Equally as vital to risk reduction efforts is analysis of presenting information to identify ways to disrupt their abusive behaviour, alongside closeknit multiagency working to implement actions.
Throughout all intervention the Drive Case Manager will work closely with the local IDVA service to review risk, develop safety plans and improve outcomes for all parties involved.
The Case Manager will be responsible for delivering outcomes, working typically for up to 12 months to achieve behaviour change with each Service User.
About you
You’ll have a deep understanding of the nature of domestic abuse and its effects on clients and children, as well as the reasons behind abusive behaviours towards intimate partners.
Your knowledge extends to the range of statutory and voluntary agencies that clients and their children may encounter, and you are aware of the impact of domestic abuse on children and parenting, including the additional needs of clients from BMER communities.
You will have experience in working with clients on issues of domestic abuse, providing one-to-one and group support and advice, managing your own workload and administration, and assessing the risk and safety of your clients and those connected to your client. You will have handled safeguarding disclosures and referrals, and you communicate clearly with a range of people both over the telephone and in person.
You will be organised, able to use your initiative, and work effectively as part of a multi-service team. Your administrative skills are strong, and you are adept at using a computer to maintain effective systems.
Flexible and willing to work evenings, you can travel independently. Additionally, you will understand trauma-informed practices, risk mitigation, and safeguarding. Experience liaising with social workers and other professionals, and in related areas such as substance misuse, child protection, or family support, is desirable.
Fluency in an additional language and skills in group work are also advantageous. You stay updated with best practices and new initiatives.

Regional fundraising is a core income stream for Teenage Cancer Trust, generating income through a combination of community and corporate fundraising. Supporters are often personally connected to the cause, including young people, families and communities directly impacted by cancer, making this a highly emotive and rewarding fundraising environment.
Teenage Cancer Trust is now seeking a Regional Fundraising Manager (North) to lead and grow income across a significant and high-potential region. With an income target of c.£750k and ambitions for further growth, this role will play a key part in shaping and delivering a more proactive, strategic approach to regional fundraising.
The Regional Fundraising Manager is a senior role responsible for leading fundraising across the North of England, managing a team of four fundraisers and contributing to the wider regional fundraising strategy. The role combines strategic leadership, team development and operational delivery, ensuring sustainable income growth across both community and corporate fundraising.
Reporting to the Head of Regional Fundraising, you will be responsible for delivering regional income targets, developing effective fundraising strategies and ensuring strong pipeline development across the region. You will also play a key role in embedding a more proactive approach to community engagement, strengthening volunteer involvement and maximising opportunities across local communities and corporate partners.

Professional Standards Education Officer (PSEO)
£24,000 pa plus excellent benefits (£40,000 FTE)

Are you an experienced acupuncture practitioner interested in joining the BAcC staff team in a key role that will help protect both practising acupuncturists and the public?
The Professional Standards Education Officer (PSEO) will be at the forefront of supporting BAcC members to work safely and manage the risks of their practice. You will also have a great positive impact on public protection and fostering trust across UK and global institutions in the practice of acupuncture.
This will be a varied role, involving all stages of developing and updating policy and communicating it to the membership. You will work as part of our wonderful team, alongside our Safe Practice Officer, Research and Policy Manager, and our Professional Conduct Officers. You will also act as a link with the BAcC’s insurer in-house risk and legal support and connect to professionals across other UK healthcare regulators.
As the Secretary to the Education Committee, you will support the BAcC’s newly integrated education and accreditation function and assist the Chair and committee in guiding the future of acupuncture accreditation in the UK.
It is anticipated that your time will be split approximately two days per week in the risk management and safe practice support role, and one day per week in the education support role. These two functions have great synergy; you will facilitate the key connection between the BAcC and college accreditation by transmitting risk mitigation strategies and taking college feedback on new risks to update policy.
The work will be varied and interesting and, most importantly, you will be able to make a huge and tangible difference to the community. It is an exciting time right now at the BAcC as we are transforming the way we work. We are moving from a passive repository of safe practice information to an evolving, active support service for members where they need it most. The work you do in this role will not only help other acupuncturists navigate difficult situations and avoid complaints, but it will enable them to be fully protected in the rare event that a claim or complaint comes in.
We seek candidates with:
Essential skills
· strong written communication skills to simplify complex risk information and produce engaging content
· the ability to work independently, prioritise workload, and manage your own schedule in a mostly home-based role
Desirable skills
· experience in the provision of education at QAA level 6 or higher (including teaching or college administration)
· first-hand experience as a practitioner of acupuncture
