Job description

Our charity client is made up of an astounding group of professionals who believe that people's sight matters. This is a pivotal moment for the charity, as they prepare for the opening of the new Moorfields and UCL Centre for Eye Health in 2027, and evolve into a national funder to expand their grant making reach and impact across the UK. The team is looking to appoint a Fundraising and campaign assistant on a 12-month fixed term contract and Prospectus is leading the search.

12-month fixed term contract, full-time (37.5 hours per week)

London / Hybrid (2 days in the office)

£28,860 - £29,594

The Fundraising and campaign assistant will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the charity's supporter relations and engagement activities, as well as providing support across events and wider fundraising activity. The role will also support the delivery of the charity's new fundraising and engagement campaign, Future in Sight, including campaign administration, supporter journeys, reporting, and helping ensure excellent experiences for donors, supporters and fundraisers.

The selected candidate will bring strong administrative and organisational skills, excellent attention to detail (particularly when handling supporter data), and a confident, proactive approach to supporter care. You'll be comfortable drafting supporter communications across channels, maintaining accurate records on a CRM, producing reports and supporting data imports/exports, and juggling multiple priorities with a calm, collaborative working style. Experience with systems such as Mailchimp (or similar), Excel, and digital communications channels will be beneficial.
