Role Summary

Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking an experienced Associate Trainer to deliver high-quality training and workshops across Northern Ireland on behalf of Ygam. Although remote working, they would need to be living in NI for travel and delivery purposes. This position is offered on a self-employed associate basis (contract for services). The post holder will facilitate engaging learning experiences, maintain high standards of safeguarding and quality assurance, and contribute to Ygam's mission by helping professionals understand and respond to gaming and gambling-related harms affecting children and young people.
The role is ideal for an experienced trainer, educator or youth practitioner with strong facilitation skills and knowledge of safeguarding, education or public health, who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people. You will be confident working independently and remotely, while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.

You will be responsible for delivering training across Ygam’s portfolio of programmes, including education, youth work, health, social care, community and sporting sectors.

Do you want to use your skills to make it possible for people with myeloma to live longer and better lives? We are looking for a Support Group Co-ordinator who will deliver the Myeloma UK Support Group Partnership programme in line with the organisation’s overall strategy.
You will have experience of working with support groups and/or volunteer networks as well as recruiting, training, managing and supervising a diverse range of staff or volunteers. The post holder will need to show clear evidence of relationship building and working with underrepresented groups. A key part of the role is understanding the needs of cancer patients and their families and of health inequalities.
You’ll have excellent relationship building skills and an understanding of the barriers that exist in accessing support. The Support Group Co-ordinator will be the first point of contact within the organisation for all Support Group enquiries. You will be responsible for working with local groups and other local network partners to increase the reach and impact of Myeloma UK, ensuring that partnered support groups operate in line with Myeloma UK guidelines and ensure that they receive consistent information, training and advice.
The post holder will maintain an awareness and understanding of all legislation that may be relevant to the role and develop, maintain and evaluate a training programme for Support Group Leaders as well as moderate and update the Support Group Leaders’ online hub on a regular basis. The role
This is a fixed-term parental leave cover post for 1 year. We are looking for a compassionate, organised and collaborative Hospital Liaison Coordinator to support the delivery, embedding and sustainability of the National Bereavement Care Pathway in England.
This role will help strengthen Sands’ hospital liaison work by building, supporting and developing our network of Hospital Liaison Volunteers. Hospital Liaison Volunteers provide an important link between Sands, NHS services and local communities, helping hospital staff understand and access Sands’ support, training, resources and bereavement care guidance.
The postholder will work closely with volunteers, NHS staff and Sands colleagues to support high-quality, equitable bereavement care for bereaved parents and families. They will coordinate activity, monitor progress, gather feedback and insight, and help ensure learning from hospitals and volunteers informs continuous improvement across the NBCP England programme.
This is a role for someone who is highly organised, values-driven and confident working with people. You will bring experience of supporting volunteer networks, coordinating projects and building strong relationships with a range of stakeholders. You will also be able to communicate sensitively and clearly, work with feedback and evidence, and develop your understanding of bereavement care, maternity services and NHS systems.

Finance & Board Administration
Financial Oversight: Manage invoice creation, process team expenses, have a good understanding of our overall budget, and pull monthly budget reports from Sage for budget holders.

Donor recognition and supporter care

Position: Senior Partnerships Officer
Location: Remote, resident in mainland Britain
Hours: Part-time; 3 days per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £29,403 per annum, pro rata

About the Role
The Senior Partnerships Officer (SPO) will work closely with the Chief Executive (CEO) and Fundraising Lead (FL) to ensure the charity has sufficient funding to achieve its mission. This primarily involves developing new donor relationships and partnerships to grow fundraising income streams. The fundraising strategy focuses on high-value grants, gifts and partnerships. We recognise that the lines between major donors, corporate partners and family foundations are often blurred. Therefore, the charity have chosen not to silo work in this way and instead have created a new role focused on developing new relationships across all these income streams. The focus of the role is on ‘winning new business’ and will suit an entrepreneurial candidate with experience in business development, and/or building new corporate or philanthropic partnerships.
