The role

The Engagement Manager leads the relational and safeguarding delivery of Lighthouse, ensuring the programme is experienced as a place of dignity, trust, and consistency for every participant. This role sits at the centre of the work - shaping how Lighthouse feels, how people are received, and how support is experienced in practice.

Lighthouse operates in a dynamic environment where participant needs, operational demands, and volunteer teams intersect daily. You will bring presence, judgement, and emotional intelligence to that space, maintaining strong relational consistency while responding thoughtfully and appropriately to what emerges in real time.

You will take ownership of participant engagement across the programme. This includes building trusted relationships, maintaining strong safeguarding practice, and supporting volunteers to engage in ways that are respectful, boundaried, and trauma-informed. Your role is to ensure Lighthouse is not only well run, but deeply human - a place where people feel seen, respected, and supported.

You will also play a central role in shaping how Lighthouse supports people beyond immediate engagement. By understanding participant journeys and needs, you will help strengthen pathways into stability, connection, and opportunity. This requires sound judgement, relational skill, and the ability to translate insight into practical support.

You will work closely with the Programme Manager to ensure Lighthouse remains both operationally strong and deeply responsive to the people it serves.

Working pattern

Lighthouse operates primarily between 8:00am and 8:00pm, with occasional evening events. Programme delivery is supported by a team of volunteers.

The two Managers coordinate their working schedules to ensure presence during key delivery periods across the programme week.

Working patterns are flexible and planned collaboratively to support delivery while maintaining sustainable workloads.

Lighthouse Management Structure

Lighthouse is delivered through a shared model, with two Managers working together to ensure the programme remains a safe, consistent, and dignified space for people experiencing homelessness.

Delivering this well requires both strong programme organisation and careful, trauma-informed engagement with participants.

The two Managers hold complementary responsibilities that ensure Lighthouse is both well-run and deeply responsive to the people it serves. While each role leads on specific areas of the programme, they work closely together to maintain consistent standards, clear communication, and a reliable experience for participants.

Role purpose

This role supports the development of WorldSkills UK’s income and partnership activity by turning programmes and ideas into clear, compelling funding opportunities. You will work across teams to develop proposals, manage partnerships, and support reporting and planning processes that contribute to long-term financial sustainability.

You will play a key role in strengthening how we plan, communicate and deliver partnership activity, helping to build strong relationships with funders and partners while improving internal systems and processes.

Key tasks and responsibilities

Partnership and project delivery

Job Purpose

Coordinate delivery of the BELIEVE programme, managing interns and supporting school-based climate action projects. Ensure effective communication across partners, assist with monitoring and evaluation, and maintain strong operational systems. Play a central role in day-to-day coordination, enabling high-quality delivery of youth-led and community-focused climate initiatives.

-£31,495 (C1) - £33,089 (C3) depending on experience, including London weighting

-£28,952 (C1) - £30,417 (C3) depending on experience, elsewhere in the UK

Position Overview:

Epic is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Programs team to manage relationships and grants of nonprofits in our portfolio, and monitor and support their work over time. In particular, this role will lead the development and management  of a learning community to support our grantees and alumni beyond our financial support.

Key responsibilities: 

• Manage the relationship and continuous monitoring of portfolio organizations. This involves acting as the point of contact for a portion of the portfolio's organizations, including reviewing and analyzing monitoring data and supporting grant-making processes. .

• Contribute to Epic's research program and knowledge management (reports, case studies, analysis of trends and developments in the philanthropy field) and help develop Epic's thought leadership and reputation as a key player in the philanthropic sector on smart-giving.

• Facilitate and liaise with other teams within the foundation, to keep portfolio organizations' data, analysis and information up to date to support its relationships with donors and target audiences.

Required  skills and qualifications:

• Right to work in France or the United Kingdom (Epic is not able to sponsor visas)

• 7+  years experience in non-profit organisational development and programs and / or philanthropy strategy and grant-making.

• Technical expertise in one or more of Epic’s key priorities (i.e.: social entrepreneurship, social impact evaluation, youth empowerment and trust-based philanthropy).

• Previous experience and knowledge of appropriate tools and methodologies to build capacity and learning processes for organisational development and scaling social impact.

• Expertise of working with relevant IT, such as CRM systems and project management tools. In particular familiarity of working with AI, to help enhance efficiency, learning and analysis. 

• Strong understanding and expertise in nonprofit management, design, and impact analysis and the ability to assess a nonprofit across impact, operations and governance. 

• Strong analytical and evaluative skills, especially analyzing data and research - both qualitative and quantitative - and specifically those related to programmatic monitoring, impact assessment and learning.

• Strong facilitation skills and ability to navigate complex  power dynamics and multi-stakeholder spaces.

• Strong writing skills and ability to communicate effectively (written and orally) to diverse audiences in English (and French desired).

• Experience of working in a lean and entrepreneurial organization with a high degree of self management; strong project management skills and ability to manage a high-volume workload at a fast pace.

This investment in Live Well Spaces of Hope and Connection will create a network of 100+ inclusive, community-led and owned spaces across Greater Manchester where people can meet, belong and find everyday support.

The Head of Programme will lead and oversee delivery of this large-scale, multi-partner strategic lottery programme, ensuring delivery through funded partners is aligned to the programme’s mission, vision and values, while maintaining strong programme management, compliance and delivery of agreed outcomes.

You will be a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, working closely with our CEO to drive project delivery and strengthen our operational foundations as we grow.

This senior role combines two key responsibilities. You will lead our new Systems Change programme for young mothers, mobilising and delivering a long term initiative that shares our best practice model with partners and influences policy and practice across the perinatal mental health sector. You will also provide operational leadership across MumsAid, managing governance, IT systems, data management, finance, monitoring and evaluation, and organisational coordination. This requires exceptional organisational skills, strategic thinking, emotional intelligence and a deep commitment to equity and co production. You'll need substantial project management experience in the voluntary and community sector, proven operational management expertise, strong systems and data management skills, and the ability to represent MumsAid confidently in multi agency spaces.

We are looking for a highly organised Practice and Programmes Coordinator to work as a core member of our Practice and Programmes team.

About you

You will play a vital role supporting the management of our diverse portfolio of projects working as part of the team with a broad range of clients, members, and partners including individual councils, the NHS, and other public and voluntary sector partners to enable them to become more community powered. With some experience in project management, people, and research skills, you will act as the team's administrative engine, working as the organising power behind the team's high-quality delivery of our practice and programme work.

Your job will incldue:

• Coordinate several projects at the same time, supporting team members to deliver high quality work, on time and within agreed budgets.

• Coordinate project meetings, both internally and externally, capturing key decisions and actions and working with the team to develop effective project management mechanisms to enable smooth delivery.

• Act as a first point of contact for project work, providing timely project management updates for internal and external stakeholders.

• Support the design and delivery of workshops and events, particularly through coordination of logistics (venue, catering, IT, materials needed, etc.) and liaising with our team, clients, and participants to ensure sessions are delivered smoothly.

• Support project leads to prepare high quality, compelling project resources including presentations, reports, and blogs. 

• Support project leads in designing and delivering a range of research activities including desk research, focus groups, interviews, and analysis. 

• Work with New Local’s Finance Officer and Head of Operations & Finance to ensure invoicing, and payments related to the Practice and Programme team’s work are processed in a timely manner.

Purpose of role

As the Program Manager, Media and Communications, you will support the Program Director on the design, development and implementation of communication strategies and plans to advance Humane World for Animals UK’s strategic priorities with regard to campaigns, brand-building and fundraising. You will lead on producing and delivering a content strategy for a broad range of channels to increase audience engagement. The position will support campaigns and fundraising stewardship and give strategic advice regarding social media market insights and trends in the UK digital sphere and emerging channels. This will be vital to achieve successful brand building in the UK market through impactful storytelling, campaign activations, fundraising recruitment and stewardship through compelling content on the earned channels and holistic management of thematic work.

Key areas of responsibility

• Content creation and storytelling:Produce high-quality digital content, including video, for use on social and digital channels.Turn campaign and policy work into clear, engaging stories.Collaborate with Head Office to integrate global storytelling content.

Program Manager
Prospectus is supporting an independent foundation seeking a Program Manager to support Senior Program Directors and the organisations governments partners in their efforts to deliver transformational, cross sectoral initiatives in sub-Saharan Africa.

Program Managers review and develop program-related materials that drive strategic priorities; monitor program achievement progress; manage local consultants and technical assistance providers; provide financial and workplan oversight of grants; track and document results across programs.

The foundation does not implement its own ‘projects’: they work directly with inspiring government leaders to deliver on their goals for their people, and the Program Manager will be expected to interface in a respectful, savvy, and non-prescriptive manner with government colleagues, while simultaneously providing the honest feedback of a true partner.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in managing complex and large-scale program implementation, ideally in sub-Saharan African countries.
• Good understanding of how governmental departments work, ideally with direct experience working with governments particularly in sub-Saharan Africa.
• Substantial, relevant expertise in health, nutrition, job creation, urban development or education, ideally in sub-Saharan Africa. This will include familiarity with evidence, key actors, and proven interventions in a broad range of human development areas.
• Experience in the use of program management tools such as dashboard creation, program monitoring and strategic planning.
• Demonstration of methodical program oversight and management.
• Team player with excellent people skills and with highly developed communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.

Role purpose: 

The Programmes Officer is integral to advancing Amna’s mission by actively contributing to the planning, implementation and oversight of the organisation’s programmes and partnerships. The Programmes Officer will collaborate closely with the programmes team, playing a key role in coordinating activities, engaging with partner organisation's and different stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to timelines and objectives. Responsibilities include: 

Programme and Partnership Coordination: 

• Coordinate internal and external meetings, workshops, and events, including scheduling, logistics, and follow-up.

• Liaise with Amna partner organisations, consultants, and contractors as required to ensure smooth communication and follow-up. 

• Support the tracking of programme and partnership progress by maintaining accurate records, capturing relevant data, and preparing timely reports.

• Draft reports and updates tailored to different audiences on Amna’s programmes and partnerships.

• Undertake short information gathering and research assignments as required. 

• Manage communication with GHN members, including session coordination, registration setup, and follow-up.

• Maintain and regularly update the GHN database and tracking systems.

• Identify and coordinate interpretation and translation needs, including liaison with service providers.

• Support delivery of online and in-person training, including preparation of materials and logistics.

• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g. UK GDPR) and organisational policies.

Admin, Logistics, Procurement:  

• In coordination with the Operations team to maintain files and reference systems and ensure they are regularly updated to ensure accuracy. 

• Support procurement processes, including sourcing quotations, preparing documentation, and tracking approvals.

• Manage travel arrangements for programmes and partners, including itineraries and related requirements.

• Coordinate vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of services.

• Support event logistics (venues, catering, training materials, interpretation).

• Maintain documentation, filing systems, and records to ensure accuracy and accessibility.

• Draft correspondence, prepare briefings and presentations, and take meeting minutes as required.

  Qualifications and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, International Development, Project Management, or similar).

We deliver a suite of employability focused programmes which offer young people enriching professional experience in their chosen industry, and the work of our Programmes Officer is essential to this mission.

The Programmes Officer will play an integral part in the Employability team to help deliver on these initiatives and the long-term aims of the organisation. This role will primarily support the delivery of Pathways Online and Access Apprenticeships (delivered both online and in person), currently covering the Law, Banking & Finance and Engineering sectors. The officer will support programmes in 2 of the 3 sectors highlighted.

This role will sit within the Employability team, which is a subdivision of the Programmes team, led by the Head of Employability. The role will be line managed by the Employability Programmes Manager.

Main duties

• Onboarding of new cohorts of students for our Pathways Online and Access Apprenticeships Programmes

• Delivering both online and in-person events for students across the programmes. Duties include presenting activities, organising logistics, providing technical support, and encouraging student engagement

• Be the main point of contact for students on the programme. Including leading on student comms (newsletter and info packs), responding to student enquiries and building relationships with beneficiaries to ensure that we are provide tailored and impactful support.

• Using student data to monitor engagement and develop strategies to enhance engagement and participation

• Maintaining and updating the Trust's CRM system (Salesforce) to ensure accurate beneficiary details and activity records.

• Arranging and booking of student travel for in person events and work experience placements

• Use our online platform (Sutton Trust Online) to drive student engagement through creating and updating content
