About the Role

As a Service Delivery Assistant, you will provide high quality administrative support to the high risk domestic abuse team. You will act as a first point of contact for enquiries into the service and support the wider team with administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Upload referrals to our computerised case management system, in accordance with our standards.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, telephone and general queries for the service
• Collate and supply information and correspondence to internal and external contacts
• Liaise with referring agencies to improve referral information and support referral pathways.
• Provide general admin support including data entry, minute taking, raising purchase orders and processing invoices.

About You:

Ideally, you will need experience working within a client focused service and a good understanding and knowledge of office systems.

You will need:

• Effective verbal and written communication and numerical skills.
• Experience working in an adminstrative setting role
• Experience of providing administrative support to a team
• Understanding and knowledge of the requirements relating to confidentiality and data protection.

Based in with our partner organisation, Housing for Young People in Doncaster, you will ensure you deliver high quality legal services through casework and ensuring Legal Aid contract requirements and performance targets are met.

You will be able to identify test case opportunities to address systemic bad practice and so achieve change for a greater number of people and will work closely with the Managing Solicitor and the Hub.

• Be a qualified Solicitor - we are open to newly qualified candidates with a demonstrable interest in social justice, as well as those who have 3+ years PQE and a strong track record in housing law and Legal Aid work
• Deliver high-quality legal advice and representation under our work as part of the Housing Loss Prevention Service, which provides free legal advice and court representation to anyone at risk of losing their home.
• Challenge unfair housing practices and systemic causes of homelessness through strategic casework and litigation
• Work closely with our Sheffield team to strengthen housing rights awareness across the

Our legal Teams (Managing Solicitors, Solicitors, Legal Advisors and Trainees) are based throughout the England hubs, we are currently based in London, Plymouth, Bristol, Norwich, Birmingham, Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire, Sheffield and Newcastle.

Our teams are enthusiastic, driven and champions for fighting the housing injustice.  Our teams whilst generating an income also address the housing crisis.

You will be part of an existing multi-disciplinary team that offers housing and homelessness advice and support across South Yorkshire. It consists of a solicitor led legal team providing advice and representation, and an advice service providing advice, support and guided self-help to people with housing, debt or welfare benefit issues. There is also a committed and skilled team of volunteers that offer peer support, mentoring and more general volunteering adding significant value to our core service offer.

About the role:

You will provide trauma informed support to service users impacted by terrorism. Service users are at the heart of the work we do; working with the family, you will undertake a comprehensive needs assessment to agree a bespoke Support Plan that will include exploring the needs of children and young people within the family.

You will manage a caseload, completing actions agreed on Support Plans and reviewing needs with service users on a regular basis. You will advocate for service users with external stakeholders, agencies and aspects of the criminal justice system. About the role:

This role is home based in West Cumberland with regular travel to meet clients & colleagues as well as attending meetings & court hearings.

As an Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) you will be: -

• providing a high quality, pro-active service to victims of sexual violence and abuse (including children and young people), supporting those at highest risk and need.
• working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the Bridgeway SARC and other local partnership responses to sexual violence.
• working with survivors and other agencies to monitor the care pathway, including risk assessment, helping clients access their rights and supporting with any other services they require.

You will need: -

More than anything the right attitude and a willingness to learn are key to becoming an ISVA. Experience of working with victims of sexual violence and other service providers and agencies in a statutory, voluntary, social or community setting would be an advantage although we would be keen to hear from you if you can demonstrate how your skills and experience can be applied to this role.

You must have extensive experience of planning and delivering caseloads, with strong crisis management skills and an understanding of the needs of victims experiencing sexual violence. An approved and accredited ISVA qualification is preferable for this post although candidates with the right approach and a willingness work towards ISVA accreditation will also be considered.

To be successful in this role you should have good IT skills, knowledge of criminal justice issues and an understanding of the effects a court appearance can have on victims and witnesses of crime are also essential.

• provide appropriate non-therapeutic support to older people who have been subjected to domestic abuse via their preferred contact method
• carry out out needs and risk assessments to develop tailored individual safety and support plans to address the specific needs of the victim
• use a bespoke case management system to maintain accurate and confidential record keeping and contribute to the collection of outcomes
• liaise with the police, social services, CPS, and other agencies on the client's behalf, with the client's consent maintaining confidentiality
• provide information to victims to enable them to make informed choices about their future options. Ensuring that the voices, needs, rights and legal entitlements of older people are heard and understood by all individuals and organisations.

About You:

Ideally, you will hold an approved and accredited OPVA qualification (or you must be willing to work towards one)

You will need:

• A strong understanding of domestic abuse and violence and the impact this has specifically on older people.
• Experience of working with older people including completing risk assessments and safety planning
• Experience of managing a caseload and keeping clear case management records.
• Experience of adapting communication styles to be able to effectively communicate with older people
• An understanding of trauma informed practice and how to implement this within your work

About the role

Your focus will be to deliver high quality housing advice and advocacy in line with the hub’s local community priorities, working alongside people who are experiencing homelessness and bad housing to identify issues facing local communities.  You will plan and deliver casework to individuals and communities to resolve their housing situation and engage with community groups, local organisations and individuals to understand local housing issues and raise awareness of people’s housing rights.

You will also work in local community settings and with community groups to deliver advice and rights awareness workshops and make sure that people with lived experience of homelessness have opportunities to share their story, give their opinions and participate in the design and delivery of Shelter services. Offering day to day support to volunteers, providing learning, shadowing and mentoring and being a consistent role model for our values are also key aspects of the role.

About you

Shelter Sheffield has 70 staff plus volunteers and has been providing housing advice and support services within the area for over 20 years, specialising in emergency homelessness work, intensive support to children and families, people experiencing domestic abuse and people experiencing multiple disadvantage. About the Role

As a ISAC you will provide high quality support to victims of stalking who have been who have been subjected to domestic violence and abuse. You will deliver and provide support in five key areas to support victims to:

• Feel safer
• Feel informed about their rights and the criminal justice system
• Feel listened to and heard
• Be able to implement healthy coping mechanisms
• Be connected with services who are available to help them

Key Responsibilities:

• You will provide appropriate non-therapeutic support to who have been subjected to domestic abuse and stalking via their preferred contact method.
• Undertake needs and risk assessments to develop tailored individual safety and support plans to address the specific needs of the victim.
• Use a bespoke case management system to maintain accurate and confidential record keeping and contribute to the collection of outcomes.
• Liaise with the police, social services, CPS, and other agencies on the client's behalf, with the client's consent maintaining confidentiality
• Provide information to victims to enable them to make informed choices about their future options. Ensuring that the voices, needs, rights and legal entitlements of victims are heard and understood by all individuals and organisations.

About You:

Ideally, you will hold an approved and accredited ISAC qualification (or you must be willing to work towards one)

You will need:

• Strong understanding of domestic abuse, violence and stalking and the impact this has on victims
• Experience of working with victims including completing risk assessments and safety planning
• Experience of managing a caseload and keeping clear case management records.
• Experience of adapting communication styles to be able to effectively communicate with victims
• An understanding of trauma informed practice and how to implement this within your work
• A through understanding of the criminal justice system and the Victim's Code
• An understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and other legal requirements
• Good IT skills including experience with working within bespoke case management systems and using Microsoft Office Packages.
• An organised and methodical approach to work, able to plan & prioritise workload.

Oasis Southampton City Farm is a community focused registered charity working in Southampton. We provide a range of supportive, wellbeing boosting, and nature-based activities for our communities, which include young people and adult learners with disabilities.

We are looking for sessional farm assistants who will support the Farm Lead in delivering the vision for the farm by supporting the delivery of the farm’s variety of activities, including:

 · To deliver youth activities on the farm, supporting young people to help care for the animals

· To deliver animal experiences, giving families the opportunity to meet and greet our rescued and rehomed animals
