This new role of Strategic Partnership Lead: Coventry has been created following successful investment through Sport England’s Place Expansion programme for Coventry. The role will provide strategic leadership for the implementation and coordination of the Sport England Place Expansion investment across Coventry , including supporting the development and implementation of the emerging Coventry Physical Activity Partnership.
The role reflects the growing recognition that physical activity has an important role to play in improving health, reducing inequalities and strengthening communities across Coventry. We envisage physical activity continuing to be used as part of the wider One Coventry approach to tackling the inequalities experienced by local people.
The postholder will be employed by Think Active but will work on behalf of the Coventry Physical Activity Partnership, bringing together partners from across sectors around a shared vision and agenda for change.

BASE LOCATION & WORKING APPROACH
Think Active’s headquarters are at 1 Mill Street in Leamington Spa; however, this role will also be expected to work from a range of locations across Coventry, reflecting the partnership and place-based nature of the role.
This role requires a strong commitment to system working, including engaging with partners and stakeholders where they are and at times that best support collaboration and impact. As such, there may be a requirement for occasional evening and weekend work.
There will also be occasional travel regionally and nationally to support partnership working, learning, and organisational priorities.

Strategic Leadership and Place Development

Hope into Action is an inspiring story. It starts with a couple, Ed and Rach Walker, who decide to use £30,000 of their own money to buy a house for people who were homeless in Peterborough in 2010. And from this seed, an organisation has grown which 16 years later has 134 houses and has seen over £34 million invested in homes for people who were homeless.
Hope into Action is a story of how faith in God has been put into action and led to resources being shared, new relationships being formed and people’s lives being transformed.
Last year we housed over 500 people who had been homeless. Each of those individuals has a story to share of how Hope into Action has helped them. This is the story we want to share.
The Communications & Engagement Lead is responsible for implementing Hope into Action’s communications and engagement strategy. Working closely with the CEO, they will be responsible for telling the Hope into Action story and driving increased engagement with our vision for every church in the UK to be engaged in ending homelessness.

About The Bike Project
The Bike Project is an award-winning charity which refurbishes second hand bikes and donates them to refugees. We were founded in 2013 by, Jem Stein, after he struck up a friendship and found a bike for Adam, a Darfuri refugee who had fled his home in Sudan after war broke out.
The Bike Project has grown into a national operation with new CEO, hundreds of volunteers, a team of committed staff, an online bike shop and two workshops, one in London and one in Birmingham.
To date we have supported over 15,000 refugees and people seeking asylum by giving them a second-hand bike. In addition, we have supported hundreds through our programmes designed to build confidence and build friendships in the local community.

Role and Responsibilities
This role will suit someone who can adapt or work in a fast-paced environment, who can prioritise activities based on the expected amount of income they generate.
As Fundraising Officer, you’ll play a key role across a wide range of fundraising activities, including supporting Trusts and Foundations grant applications, managing our challenge events programme, leading DIY fundraising initiatives, assisting with individual giving appeals, delivering supporter events, and ensuring high-quality donor stewardship. You’ll work closely with colleagues to engage supporters, drive income, and maintain accurate records in Salesforce.

About the role
We’re looking for a Head of Research & Evidence to join our ambitious Research, Learning & Systems Change Team.
Young Lives vs Cancer has a strong and growing commitment to changing the system for children and young people with cancer, and their loved ones. Our North Star vision and Time is Now Strategy focus on influencing how the wider system works – from services and policy to practice on the ground – so that families get the support they need.
The Head of Research and Evidence sits in the Research, Learning & Systems Change team, within our Innovation, Policy & Systems Change Directorate. The role is responsible for ensuring our work is grounded in strong, credible and useful evidence, and that learning is actively used to shape decisions, practice and change across the system.
This is a leadership role within a small but ambitious team. You will set direction and provide thought leadership, but you will also be hands on – designing, commissioning, managing and using research alongside colleagues and partners.
Building trusted relationships and using evidence to influence thinking and action are central. You will work with colleagues, children and young people, families, and partner organisations (such as the North Star Cancer Collective) to learn, strengthen credibility and create change.

What will I be doing?
No two days are the same at Young Lives vs Cancer. So, summarising your ‘day to day’ isn’t easy. You’ll work as part of a strong internal team, collaborating closely with colleagues across the organisation and with key external partners to generate, use and apply evidence that supports learning, influence and system change. Here are some of the main things you’ll be doing, but you’ll find more details in the job description and pack:
You’ll be setting the direction for research and learning, leading a clear and purposeful research programme focused on the psychosocial experiences of children and young people with cancer. You’ll ensure research is high‑quality, ethical and impactful, including commissioning work with partners and contributing to research funding bids.
You’ll be understanding needs and experiences to grow a strong, credible evidence base, building and using robust evidence on need, inequality, impact and progress to inform strategy, services, policy and system change. You’ll ensure children, young people and families meaningfully shape research and that insight is shared in clear, practical ways.
You’ll be providing system insight and leadership, analysing how the system works, identifying trends and pressures, and using evidence to guide where change is most needed. You’ll build trusted relationships across the voluntary sector, NHS and research community, sharing learning and strengthening our credibility and influence.
You’ll be turning learning into action and influence, helping teams apply research to real‑world practice and supporting testing, learning and improvement over time. You’ll put feedback and learning loops in place and assess how research‑informed change is affecting practice and outcomes.

As Service Manager – Community Services, you will lead the operational delivery of community-based domestic abuse services, including IDVA, triage and outreach support for adults, children and young people. About Woman's Trust
The charity was established in 1996 to meet the gap in specialist mental health services. Woman’s Trust is led by and for women and aims to ensure that women affected by domestic abuse can live a life free from further harm and abuse. Our approach is trauma-informed and person-centred, empowering survivors on their journey to recovery from the trauma. You will support Trusts & Foundations and Statutory income generation for Woman’s Trust, led by the HOF. You will secure five and six-figure, multiple-year grants and support the increase of organisational income from £1.2m to £3m in the next 3 years. You will effectively communicate our services and campaign aims and develop funder partnerships and relationships aligned to our strategic priorities. You will manage and deliver the whole cycle of trusts and foundations income generation, including regular prospecting, producing impactful funder reports and maintaining our CRM system

This is a hybrid role based at the peaceful countryside Thurrock Hospice site in Essex, with 3 days a week in the office.

The Role:
Develop annual delivery plans and lead delivery of individual giving fundraising products to achieve budget net income, working across products including: on and offline cash appeals; supporter newsletters; regular giving; gifts in celebration; and incentivised giving.
Project manage all elements required to deliver planned activities, including: producing plans, budgets and briefs; liaising with internal teams and external suppliers/agencies; writing and reviewing copy; and proofing artwork.
Plan and deliver the Hospice’s flagship in memory appeal, ‘Light up a Life’, including a cash appeal, local remembrance services, public dedication list instalments and a community radio show.
Monitor and evaluate income and expenditure, taking corrective action when necessary to reach targets.
The Candidate:
Experience of individual giving / direct marketing within the not-for-profit sector, or comparable experience within the commercial sector.
Experience of using a variety of on- and offline channels to deliver successful marketing campaigns to acquire and develop donors / customers, including direct mail, email and social channels.
Experience of managing income and expenditure budgets, including reforecasting, and setting and monitoring performance against KPIs.
Experience of audience segmentation and use of data analysis to inform marketing / fundraising activity.
