The Marketing Officer/Senior Marketing Officer (Retention) at CBM UK is an important role in making our life-changing work possible. Advertised at Officer or Senior Officer level (subject to experience), the role delivers direct and digital fundraising appeals to existing individual supporters, high value donors, and churches to drive donations and grow awareness, through creative and impactful fundraising communications.
Key responsibilities:

The role
Job Title: Youth & Community Engagement Officer
Part Time: 8- 12 days per month
Salary: £28-30,000 pro rata

Job Purpose:
This role will lead the development and delivery of Allergy UK’s youth engagement initiative. We are beginning several exciting new projects focused on engaging young people who live with allergy and providing opportunities for them to have a voice and support them in raising awareness of the issues that affect their life. We are seeking young people’s participation and co-production in all activities we develop to support their needs. The role of Youth Engagement Officer will be to engage with young people across the UK, to ensure that they have the opportunities and support to shape and influence Allergy UK’s programmes and activities for young people living with allergy.
The Youth & Community Engagement Officer will engage with children and young people across the UK to ensure they are meaningfully involved and supported to influence Allergy UK’s services, campaigns and resources. This includes creating safe, inclusive spaces where young people and parents and carers feel listened to and empowered to share their experiences.
The successful individual will develop youth opportunities that build confidence, skills and life chances, while supporting children and young people living with allergy to overcome the social, emotional and practical barriers they may face. A key part of the role will be working collaboratively with parents and carers to ensure their voice inform decision making and design.
As a Youth & Community Engagement Officer, you will have experience of working positively with children, young people and families, and have a proactive, organised and confident approach.
Strong organisation skills and initiative are essential as you will be the lead Allergy UK’s youth provision.
You will coordinate a range of activities on-line and in-person engagement sessions, blogs, podcasts, learning opportunities and digital activities all rooted in co-production principles. You will work as part of a wider team to engage children, young people and parents and carers, to amplify unheard voices and stories, and help drive positive change for families living with allergy.
The post is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund until September 2028. As a grant- funded role, the postholder will be responsible for the effective delivery, monitoring and evaluation of agreed grant outcome and KPI’s, ensuring full compliance with funder requirements and reporting deadlines.
Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Key Accountabilities:
· Design, develop and deliver youth-led and family-centred services across three core areas:
o Continue to design and deliver youth-led services with the existing 18–25 youth group for people living with allergies
o Recruit, , launch and establish a new youth group for 13–17-year-olds living with allergies
o Recruit, launch and establish a support and engagement group for parents and carers of children and young people living with allergies
· Plan, project manage and deliver engaging co-production projects, building positive, trusted relationships with children, young people and parents and carers, and promoting meaningful participation.
· Create opportunities for young people to have a strong and influential voice, supporting them to engage in Allergy UK’s awareness- raising and public affairs activity to influence policy, improve services and drive change.
· Establish, develop and lead the Allergy UK Youth Forum, ensuring it is representative, inclusive and impactful.
· Support and develop young people to become champions and ambassadors for Allergy UK, building confidence, leadership skills and advocacy capability.
· Work collaboratively with a wide range of organisations including but not exclusively schools, local government, health and youth services and voluntary sector organisations.
· Develop and deliver training and development resources to support young people’s skills, understanding and personal development.
· Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately, secularly, and within agreed timescales, in line with contractual, safeguarding and reporting requirements
· Work closely with the Operations Director and wider staff team, providing insight and advice on issues affecting children, young people and families living with allergy.
· Develop and embed effective youth engagement procedures and best practice, ensuring a consistent, safe and inclusive approach across all activities..
· Take responsible for the health and safety including risk assessments and reviews for all youth and family engagement activities, ensuring safety and wellbeing of participants.
· Act as a key role holder for safeguarding, ensuring that the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and vulnerable adults is central to all youth and family engagement activity. This includes promoting a strong safeguarding culture, adhering to Allergy UK’s safeguarding policies and procedures, identifying and escalating safeguarding concerns appropriately, completing and contributing to risk assessments, and working closely with designated safeguarding leads and relevant staff to ensure safe, inclusive and compliant practice at all times.
· Maintain accurate and confidential records, ensuring the secure and compliant recording of sensitive data on Allergy UK’s Salesforce database in line with data protection requirements.

The South East Gambling Harms Partnership is a consortium of regional Citizens Advice offices that include: Wokingham, Reading, West Berkshire and East Berkshire offices in Berkshire and Hart, Rushmore, Basingstoke and Tadley in North Hampshire. Lead the translation of Bite Back’s research into high quality outputs including reports, briefings and submissions.
Work with campaigns, communications and content teams to turn research findings into high impact creative communications for a range of audiences.
Serve as a primary spokesperson for our research including in media placements, speaking slots and government evidence sessions.
Policy development
Lead on the development of Bite Back’s policy positions in key and emerging areas, ensuring young peoples’ views and experiences are fed in at every stage.
Lead the development of all policy outputs including submissions, consultation responses and briefings, ensuring they are evidence-based and reflect young peoples’ voices.
Lead the technical policy liaison with stakeholders and experts in the field to gather evidence and critically assess the Bite Back’s positions.
Evidence

We’re looking for an organised, proactive and community-minded Project Officer to join our small and supportive team. This is a genuinely varied role, spanning project delivery and network development as well as operational support for our growing OxFarmToFork food hub. The Campaign Manager will lead RLSS UK’s flagship national campaigns, ensuring they are insight-driven, behaviour-changing, and capable of empowering communities to stay safe around water.
Working collaboratively across the organisation and with external partners, you will create compelling, impactful campaigns that raise awareness, shift behaviours, elevate water safety standards, and bring our mission to life for millions of people.
This role is central to how RLSS UK educates, influences, and protects communities across the UK and Ireland.
ROLE OVERVIEW
From honing our campaign strategy to sparking collaborations with external organisations and delivering creative and engaging content, you’ll be a key player in shaping how RLSS UK and our work are seen by the public and partners.
You will lead the development and delivery of impactful, insight-driven campaigns that increase public awareness of both RLSS UK and the importance of water safety, share the skills and knowledge needed to prevent drowning, and engage and educate diverse audiences to amplify RLSS UK’s mission. Working closely with colleagues across marketing and communications, policy and public affairs, education, and membership, you will create compelling campaigns that inspire action, strengthen our brand presence, and educate.
You will collaborate with partners, members, stakeholders, supporters, and media outlets to ensure RLSS UK remains a trusted national voice in water safety. Through strategic storytelling, public mobilisation, and cross-channel campaign delivery, your work will help influence behaviours, shape understanding, and ultimately reduce accidental drownings.

Thank you for your interest in the role of Interim CEO for Kent Sexual Assault & Abuse Service (KSAAS). This is a 6-month fixed term post to cover maternity leave.
KSAAS (formerly East Kent Rape Crisis Centre) has offered sexual violence services in East Kent since 1993 and we offer ongoing practical support and therapeutic services for survivors who have experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives of in Kent & Medway . KSAAS holds UKAS accreditation through The Survivors Trust and is Professionally Approved By Rape Crisis England & Wales, demonstrating the consistent, high-quality services that we offer to our survivors.
KSAAS operates Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVA) services and joint ISVA and Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVA) services for those experiencing sexual violence alongside domestic abuse. We also offer trauma focused therapeutic counselling services for children, adolescents and adults and these services are accessible through various hubs across Kent & Medway. Peer support groups and family advocacy services are available to support families when there has been an occurrence of sexual abuse experienced by one or more family members and our services are supported and informed by the ‘Kick Back’ group, who are survivors of sexual violence who offer help, support and advice to other survivors and inform our service development. We also have a range of volunteers who support us with various aspects of the service provision.
In addition to providing support and therapeutic services, a key function of the organisation is to robustly challenge the societal values, beliefs and behaviour which contribute to sexual violence, through proactive projects that aim to raise awareness, delivery of information sessions in educational institutions, delivery of NOCN accredited Rape and Sexual Abuse training, ongoing activism, challenging attitudes we encounter as part of our work with survivors, focused campaigns and participation in research focused on sexual violence.
In the last year, we worked with > 6000 survivors in our face-to-face services and specialist sexual violence Helpline service and in April 2026 we extended our provision and scope and have been commissioned to be the main provider of ISVA and Therapeutic Support services across Kent & Medway, funded by the Police & Crime Commissioner.
We are looking for an inspiring, motivated and innovative woman who is driven by feminist values to be the figurehead of our organisation, providing empowering leadership to the team, strategic oversight of the organisation and to ensure an outstanding service for all survivors of sexual violence. • Ability to think innovatively, take measured risks and manage an organisation and staff through period of significant change
• Experience of developing & maintaining effective networks with local government, statutory and other voluntary organisations.

• An understanding of the gendered nature of sexual violence and abuse, its causes and consequences and commitment to challenging injustice, violence and abuse, stereotyping, prejudice, discrimination and bias in a non-confrontational way, aligned to the values of the organisation.
• Experience of managing support services and a clear understanding of trauma and vicarious trauma and appropriate wellbeing strategies.
• Sound knowledge of the charitable sector and working collaboratively with a Board of Trustees
• An understanding of trauma informed care / service provision and the challenges associated with such services
• Excellent communication skills and experience of communicating complex information in a range of ways to a range of audiences
• Excellent organisational skills and an ability to prioritise and manage competing demands
• Commitment to self-development, self-reflection and personal wellbeing
• Able to travel & work between sites across Kent when needed
• Formal qualifications, such as university level qualifications, professional qualifications, therapeutic qualifications and / or leadership / management / coaching qualifications would be an advantage.
• Able to work independently, in close teams and across services
• Demonstrates resilience, courage and bravery when facing challenges • Demonstrates excellent communication skills and public presentation skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
