Job description

Established in 1790, The RLF Grants Programme has helped over 6,000 writers facing financial difficulties by providing hardship grants to help cover day-to-day living costs living or unexpected bills. Working alongside the Head of Grants and fellow Grant Officer, you will be responsible for handling a caseload of applications from both new and returning writers; processing initial enquiries through to presentation to the RLF’s Grants Committee. The successful candidate will be a point of contact for beneficiaries (and their dependents), ensuring smooth delivery of the grants during the writer’s time with us.

Please note that the role involves regular contact with individuals who may be experiencing vulnerability, including those facing mental, physical, or age-related challenges.
