About the opportunity
Working closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager and wider Philanthropy Department, the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator will identify and cultivate fruitful partnerships with a range of small, medium and large businesses.
They will help maximise the potential of corporate and other organisations for funding, volunteer recruitment, and other philanthropic opportunities, to enable growth and sustainability for Action Tutoring. This will be achieved by securing and nurturing small to medium sized organisations to provide financial support for programmes. Additionally, the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator will engage with business to generate volunteers from across the country to deliver both online and face to face tutoring.

Deadline: Sunday, 4th January 2026
Interviews: The first interview round is scheduled online for 14th and 15th January 2026. A second in‑person round may follow, with the location based on the applicant’s address.
Start date: Ideally February 2026

Place of work: This is a flexible/hybrid role, and while you can be based anywhere in England, a willingness to travel to our London office is essential. The office address is 8-10 Fivefields, Grosvenor Gardens, London SW1W 0DH.
Contract and hours: Full-time fixed-term contract of 12 months. We offer flexible hours with 9.30-4 as core hours. A full working week is 37.5 hours.

Duties and responsibilities

• Identify and persuade small to medium sized businesses to fund specific schools in Action Tutoring regions as part of a pilot of a ‘local champions’ scheme.
• Drive new applications from potential corporate volunteer tutors, ensuring a strong supply of high quality applications to meet growth targets in each region, for both face to face and online delivery.
• Generate regular reports and communicate updates to volunteer partners to demonstrate the value and impact of their volunteers and financial support.
• Support programme staff to develop local partnerships, through businesses and public sector links.
• Maintain accurate records of recruitment channels and relationships; use data to analyse the effectiveness of different recruitment channels, using this information to inform future work.
• Any other ad hoc responsibilities as deemed relevant by the CEO.

Role Purpose

The Junior Policy & Advocacy Officer will support the delivery of MCF’s policy, advocacy and research work. Working closely with the Head of Policy & Advocacy, they will contribute to policy monitoring, research projects, member engagement, and influencing activities across government, civil society, and the wider third-sector ecosystem.

This role is ideal for an early-career professional with strong analytical skills, a passion for social justice, and an interest in policy, research, and advocacy relating to the Muslim-led voluntary and community sector.

Key Responsibilities

1. Policy Monitoring and Research Support

• Track and summarise relevant UK policy, regulatory, parliamentary and sector developments related to civil society, charity regulation, funding, equity, inclusion and climate-related legislation or sustainability policy, reflecting MCF’s commitment to sector-wide awareness of climate action.

• Assist in drafting policy briefings, consultation responses, evidence submissions, and research summaries.

• Support the Head of Policy & Advocacy in compiling data and insights for reports, position statements and strategic documents. • Conduct desk-based research on thematic issues affecting Muslim-led and minority-led organisations.

• Monitor media commentary relevant to the British Muslim-led Voluntary and Community Sector and contribute to the preparation of responses, in collaboration with the Policy and Communications teams.

2. Advocacy and Influencing Support

• Support engagement with government stakeholders by preparing meeting briefs, background notes, and follow-up materials.

• Help coordinate MCF’s involvement in roundtables, APPG sessions, consultations, and external events.

• Maintain databases of stakeholders including parliamentarians, policymakers, think tanks, regulators and sector partners. • Support public affairs monitoring, including parliamentary questions, debates and committee activity.

• Contribute to MCF’s work on climate action awareness and sustainability by supporting advocacy messaging, stakeholder engagement or policy monitoring relating to sustainable practice across the Muslim charity sector.

3. Engagement with Members and Sector Stakeholders

• Assist in organising policy workshops, training sessions, and capacity-building resources for MCF’s members.

• Help collect insights, feedback and lived experience from member organisations to inform MCF’s policy positions.

• Respond to member enquiries relating to policy, regulation or advocacy support.

• Contribute to resources that help Muslim-led charities navigate regulatory and structural barriers.

• Support member-facing materials and capacity-building related to sustainability, climate awareness, or environmental good practice where required. 4. Communications and Content Support

• Draft accessible summaries of policy developments for newsletters, blogs, briefings or social media (in collaboration with the Communications team).

• Ensure policy messages are communicated consistently and clearly to internal and external audiences.

• Help prepare slides, visuals or short reports for senior-level advocacy engagements.

• Work with the Communications team to cntribute to external messaging that aligns with MCF’s media monitoring, research findings and sector commentary.

5. Administration, Coordination and Reporting

• Provide administrative support for the policy and advocacy workstream, including scheduling, minutes, organisation of meetings and events. • Maintain systems for tracking policy work, research outputs and stakeholder engagement.

• Assist with monitoring, evaluation and reporting on the impact of policy activities.

• Ensure compliance with internal processes and external regulatory requirements (e.g., lobbying regulations).

• Experience (including internships or volunteering) in policy, research, public affairs, community advocacy or a related area.

What we want you to do

Out "Kitchen at the Stud" project is a new initiative funded in partnership with the Royal Borough of Richmond. The Kitchen is a fully refurbished resource at the heart of our Horticultural Service based in grounds of Hampton Court Palace.

The Community Garden is an extensive horticultural resource and the kitchen project is an integrated part of our developing programme of learning and skills development. The Kitchen Lead will work with the garden team in building the kitchen into both a publicly accessible amenity, a training resource, seasonal cafe available on open days and for targeted group dining in addition to exploring the potential for product lines for public sale.

ABOUT TRAIN 

TRAIN is a youth work charity based in South Oxfordshire. We support young people aged 10 to 18 in Didcot, Wallingford and the surrounding areas, especially those who are under-served. 

Young people in our communities are facing complex challenges. Mental health struggles, pressures at school, family instability and the impact of poverty can leave them feeling isolated or overlooked. Too often, they don’t have access to the right support at the right time. TRAIN exists to change that. We offer trusted relationships with adults outside positions of authority, safe spaces where young people can be themselves, and opportunities to grow in confidence, make positive choices and feel part of their community.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

As Fundraising and Communications Coordinator, your main focus will be trusts and foundations: researching opportunities, writing persuasive applications and producing clear reports. You’ll also play a part in growing support from corporates, community fundraising, individual donors and major gifts, helping to build a broader base of income over time. 

Alongside this, you’ll lead on communications. That means keeping our website and social channels current, producing supporter newsletters, and sharing our story more widely through PR and campaigns. You’ll help make sure the difference TRAIN makes for young people is seen and understood by funders, partners and the local community. 

It’s a hands-on role, well-suited to someone who enjoys writing, building relationships and juggling different projects. You don’t need to be an experienced fundraiser — we’re open to people with transferable skills, whether from corporate, public or third sector backgrounds. What matters most is that you can communicate clearly, organise your workload, and are motivated by making a difference for young people. 

You’ll report directly to the CEO and work closely with the rest of the team. This is a part-time role of approximately 30 hours per week, which can be worked flexibly. The role is based in Didcot with hybrid working, but for the right candidate we will consider a fully remote arrangement. 

SALARY AND BENEFITS 

• Salary: £28,598 - £31,022 FTE (pro-rated, depending on experience) 

• Contract: Permanent, part-time, approx. 30 hours per week. We can be flexible on the exact number and when they are worked.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Fundraising (approx. 80%) 

• Pipeline and planning – work with the CEO to keep a clear fundraising plan, with trusts and foundations as the main focus alongside manageable growth in corporates, community, and individual giving. 

• Trusts and foundations – research prospects, build a live pipeline, and write strong, tailored bids. Prepare accurate budgets and gather evidence from the team to strengthen proposals. 

• Reporting and stewardship – deliver timely reports, thank funders and donors well, and manage renewals and uplift opportunities. 

• Relationship development – nurture links with local businesses, community groups and potential major donors. Prepare simple proposals and support fundraising events or activities as needed. 

• Systems and compliance – maintain accurate records of applications, deadlines and outcomes. Ensure fundraising activity is compliant with GDPR and charity regulations. 

Communications (approx. 20%) 

• Supporter communications – produce engaging newsletters, updates and thank-yous that connect donors and partners with TRAIN’s impact. 

• Digital presence – update the website and social media channels with accurate, timely content that reflects TRAIN’s work and values. 

• PR and profile – share stories with local media, partners and networks. Ensure TRAIN’s messaging is clear, consistent and accessible. 

• Community engagement – promote TRAIN’s profile, youth offer, brand and presence in the community. 

General 

• Work closely with the CEO to align fundraising and comms priorities. 

• Collaborate with youth work staff to gather stories, quotes and data that demonstrate TRAIN’s impact. 

• Represent TRAIN at meetings and community events. 

• Contribute to the life of a small, collaborative team.

The Trans Legal Clinic turns frontline legal work into change people can feel. We need a senior creative lead to set the look, sound and pace of our public work, run audience-led campaigns and make complex issues clear and actionable.

· Creative direction: Own visual identity, tone of voice and message architecture across print, digital and events.

The purpose of this post, as part of Mind in Gwent’s new National Mind funded Trauma-informed support project, is to provide trauma-informed mental health support to young women, girls and non-binary young people aged 11-24 and their families in Newport.

This role has the following aims:

· To respond to the increasing mental health difficulties that young women, girls and non-binary young people with experience of trauma face;

· To improve the overall mental health and wellbeing of young women, girls and non-binary young people;

· To increase knowledge of mental health and wellbeing and improve mental and emotional literacy and resilience, for young women, girls and non-binary young people and their families and wider communities;

· To increase the number of young women, girls and non-binary young people managing their mental health without being referred to specialist higher tier services;

· To increase choice, control and trust in the trauma-informed support that young women, girls and non-binary young people access;

· To improve public knowledge of where to find trauma-informed support in the community.

The project will offer trauma-informed, restorative and resilience-based focused interventions to address trauma and reduce the impact of poor mental health. The work will be targeted, albeit not exclusively, towards racialised communities and young people experiencing poverty.

The Southeast and East Asian Centre (SEEAC) is a community-led CIC supporting East and Southeast Asian (ESEA) migrants and refugees in the UK. We work to build an equitable society where ESEA communities thrive.

We are seeking a Programme Manager to lead our programme team, deliver high-impact community services and advocacy projects, and strengthen partnerships across the sector. This role is central to coordinating multiple projects, managing staff, developing proposals, overseeing budgets, ensuring monitoring and evaluation, and representing SEEAC publicly with partners, media and stakeholders. The post works closely with the Executive Director and Partnership Development Manager, including on fundraising.

About you:
You bring 5+ years’ experience leading programme design, delivery, monitoring and reporting plus people management experience and strong communication, organisational and financial skills. You are confident engaging with diverse communities, funders and public audiences, and committed to safeguarding and data protection. Knowledge of issues affecting migrants and refugees (e.g., employment rights, discrimination, health inequality) and strong writing skills are essential. Experience with ESEA communities or other minoritised groups is highly desirable, as is lived experience of migration-related issues.
