Job description
Do you have a proven track record of growing high-value, strategic partnerships and unlocking new opportunities within complex relationships? Can you combine commercial acumen, entrepreneurial thinking and inspiring leadership to drive long-term income growth and impact from some of the UK's most significant corporate partnerships?

About the role
We are recruiting for a Corporate Partnerships Lead (Partnerships Management) to join on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week on a permanent contract. This is a hybrid role with your time split between working remotely and travelling into London to work from our office at Crutched Friars or attending in-person meetings with key partners, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

As Corporate Partnerships Lead (Partnership Management), you will lead one of the most significant and exciting corporate partnership portfolios in the charity sector, with responsibility for driving sustainable income growth, partner engagement and long-term strategic value.

You will own and deliver our partnership management strategy, determining how we maximise value, impact and growth from existing partnerships. Working with well-known partners including The FA, British Airways and Well Pharmacy, you will ensure partnerships continue to evolve, deepen and deliver meaningful outcomes for both organisations.

Leading and developing a high-performing team, you will create a culture of ambition, accountability and commercial excellence. You will support and challenge colleagues to think beyond delivery, identifying new opportunities for growth, innovation and shared value within partner relationships.

This is a highly strategic and externally focused leadership role. You will personally lead some of our most significant and complex partnerships, working closely with senior executives and C-suite stakeholders to develop compelling growth strategies, secure investment and build long-term relationships that deliver transformational results.

You will act as a senior leader across Corporate Partnerships and the wider organisation, influencing how we approach partner growth, defining what excellent partnership management looks like and embedding a consistently commercial, relationship-led approach across the team.

We have provisionally scheduled the first stage interviews for this role to take place via MS Teams on the week commencing Monday 26th October. Second stage interviews will take place in-person at our Crutched Friars offices in London – currently scheduled for Wednesday 11th November.

About you
You will bring significant experience of having managed, grown and renewed complex, high-value partnerships, with a proven track record of securing substantial income growth from existing relationships. Your experience may have been from the charity, commercial or public sectors.

You will be:

- An ambitious and inspiring leader with a track record of building, developing and leading high-performing teams.
- Commercially astute and highly strategic, with the ability to identify growth opportunities, manage risk and maximise long-term value from complex relationships.
- Experienced in managing six and seven-figure partnerships, developing growth strategies and securing investment that delivers meaningful commercial and social impact.
- Skilled at influencing and building credibility with senior executives and senior stakeholders, creating trusted relationships that enable long-term partnership growth.
- Confident balancing strategic leadership with hands-on ownership of significant partnership opportunities and negotiations.
- Experienced in creating a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement, helping teams achieve exceptional results.
- Able to interpret corporate priorities, market insight, ESG priorities, and emerging trends to inform partnership strategies and create compelling opportunities for growth.
- Collaborative and influential, with the ability to bring together colleagues across a complex organisation to deliver ambitious partnership objectives.

Above all, you will be motivated by growth: identifying opportunities others may miss, deepening relationships and creating partnerships that become increasingly valuable, impactful and strategically important over time.

What you’ll focus on:

- Owning and delivering the Partnership Management strategy, ensuring the portfolio achieves ambitious income, engagement and impact objectives.
- Leading and developing the Partnership Management team, creating a culture of ambition, commerciality, collaboration and high performance.
- Driving sustainable growth across a portfolio of high-value partnerships, identifying opportunities to increase income, deepen engagement and expand strategic value.
- Supporting the delivery of the partnership portfolio, while building strong foundations for future growth.
- Working with partners to develop long-term growth plans, ensuring relationships continue to evolve and deliver mutual value.
- Personally leading some of Alzheimer's Society's most significant and complex partnerships, including engagement with senior stakeholders.
- Influencing and working collaboratively with colleagues across Alzheimer’s Society to develop compelling propositions, campaigns and growth opportunities.
- Defining and championing what excellent partnership management looks like, positioning Alzheimer's Society as a sector leader in corporate partnerships.
- Ensuring the team maintains a strong understanding of ESG priorities, emerging trends and partner objectives, using these insights to shape growth strategies and opportunities.
- Acting as a senior ambassador for Alzheimer's Society, building trusted relationships that strengthen our reputation and long-term partnership success.

About Alzheimer's Society - who are we and what’s our mission?
Dementia is the UK’s biggest killer. One in three people born in the UK today will develop dementia in their lifetime.

At Alzheimer’s Society, we’re the UK’s leading dementia charity and the only one to tackle all aspects of dementia by giving help and hope to people living with dementia today and in the future. We give vital support to people facing the most frightening times of their lives, while also funding ground-breaking research and campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be.

Together with our supporters, we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.

Our values make sure that our focus is clear for the challenges and opportunities ahead and remind us of what we all stand for.

Our commitment to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging
We need to ensure the voices around our table better reflect and understand the communities we exist to serve. We strongly encourage individuals to apply who have a disability, impairment or health condition or individuals who identify as part of a minority ethnic background, as these groups are currently under-represented at Alzheimer's Society.

Our hiring process
We want you to bring your whole self to the process. Applications are anonymised until interview stage, and we’re happy to support any adjustments. Share your feedback via our candidate survey when applying to help us improve. We may close early if we receive high interest (with 48 hours’ notice). Some roles may require a DBS check as part of our safer recruitment commitment. Thinking about using AI during the recruitment process? we know this can be helpful in many ways but remember to include your personal and authentic self too. Your voice and experience are what really set you apart.

Giving back to you
At Alzheimer’s Society, we value our people and take a total reward approach to pay and benefits. You’ll enjoy a generous double-matched pension scheme, 27 days’ annual leave (plus bank holidays and wellbeing days), and access to a free Health Shield Cash Plan, 24/7 EAP, Thrive mental wellbeing support, and virtual GP services. Our Society Plus platform offers exclusive discounts, wellbeing resources, and recognition schemes, while our flexible working, family-friendly policies, and life assurance provide peace of mind and work/life balance. We also offer a free Will-writing service and long service awards to recognise your ongoing commitment.
