We’re looking for a new Philanthropy Manager, homebased in the South East of England, to join our expanding Philanthropy Team. The Philanthropy Team supports the RNLI by working with individuals who are passionate about our work and want to make a difference through high-value gifts.
This is an exciting time to join the team as we are about to embark on a £150m capital appeal which the Philanthropy Team will be a key part of delivering. This is a new role, our second in the South East, and you will work closely with our experienced Philanthropy Manager who has been managing the whole area. You will have a dedicated geography of focus around but not exclusive to Essex, Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey and part of London.

Role Purpose
Responsible for helping to ensure the effective delivery of the Regional Fundraising strategy in relation to generating sustainable income from third parties and campaigns. Role Overview
The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and compliant day-to-day operations of Glitch, enabling the effective delivery and adherence to policies and regulation for the charity and team. The role holder will be the charity's data protection officer; they will meticulously ensure we remain fully compliant with all relevant charity regulations, maintaining our integrity and trust with regulatory bodies, funders and donors, and our supporters. This role will also serve as the Board Secretary, attending Board of Trustees meetings 4-6 times a year, taking minutes and managing the process of all documentation for the Board. Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis is the UK’s leading patient charity for people affected by pulmonary fibrosis. We fund research, campaign for improved care, and provide vital support and information to people living with the condition and those who care about them.
We are looking for a Trusts, Foundations and Grants Manager to help grow our income from trusts, foundations, statutory bodies and other grant-making organisations. This is an important role in our Fundraising team, helping to secure the funding we need to expand support services, accelerate research, influence policy and improve care.
You will manage a portfolio of prospects and funders, develop compelling funding applications and reports, build strong relationships, and work closely with colleagues across APF to gather evidence, budgets, impact data and lived experience stories.
We are looking for someone with experience of developing successful funding applications, excellent written communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. You will be proactive, collaborative and motivated by improving the lives of people affected by pulmonary fibrosis.

The role
We are looking for an experienced Fundraising and Campaigns Coordinator — with at least five years in a fundraising role within the charity sector — to join our small team in the second half of 2026. This is a hands-on delivery role: you will be the person who owns campaigns end to end, builds the newsletters, schedules the posts, writes the copy and gets things live.
You will work within a clear strategic direction set by the senior team, but you will own everything from there — developing the angle and narrative, writing the copy, submitting the application, building the promotional plan across all channels, and closing it out with donor reporting and thanks. We want someone who takes a steer and runs with it, and who brings genuine creative and fundraising intelligence to how the work gets done.
This is a part-time, flexible consultancy engagement. We work to a variable monthly arrangement — hours flex with the needs of the organisation, averaging 30–40 hours per month, with busier periods during campaigns.
