Join our Community Fundraising Team and play an important part in supporting some of The Royal Marsden Cancer charity’s most dedicated supporters. Working alongside the Community Fundraising team you will effectively steward existing supporters, engage our community supporters and identify new prospects.

What you’ll be doing:

- Line manage a team to ensure they achieve their objectives and fundraising targets

- Deliver best in class stewardship to develop long term relationships

- Identify and develop fundraising initiatives to engage community fundraising supporters in line with the Charity’s strategy

- Identify opportunities to raise awareness of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity including giving talks and presentations, attending local events and networking events

- Monitor income monthly and contribute to budgeting and reforecasting. Identify areas of concern and where there might be potential for growth

- Work with other teams within the Charity, including Finance, Data, PR, Marketing and other fundraising teams to maximise best practice and supporter experience

· An experienced, high-performing fundraiser with a proven track record of securing financial support from community fundraising supporters

· An excellent written and verbal communicator, able to engage effectively with a wide range of audiences

· A confident leader, able to motivate, manage and support high-performing teams

· Highly organised, with experience in financial planning, monitoring and budgeting

· Proactive and self-sufficient, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative

· Able to work with sensitivity and diplomacy, including in emotionally complex situations

· Experienced in using Raiser’s Edge NXT and/or fundraising for major charitable appeals (desirable)

Grant management & assessment

• Reviewing and assessing grant applications in line with the Grassroots Fund criteria

• Making grant decisions within agreed levels of responsibility, and supporting decision-making by subcommittees and Trustees where required
• Keeping clear and accurate records of grants in a way that supports transparency and shared oversight

Funding processes & governance

• Supporting clear, fair and accessible funding processes
• Preparing grant offer letters and agreement
• Ensuring grants support Hope Unlimited’s charitable purpose and meet basic governance requirements
• Improving and evolving our grant-giving and reporting processes, and suggesting changes that make them work better for communities and for Hope Unlimited

Reporting & learning

• Supporting grantees to share what difference the funding has made after 12 months
• Encouraging reporting that works for communities, including written, visual or creative formats
• Helping Hope Unlimited learn from what grantees tell us, particularly about what strengthens community resilience over time

Relationship management

• Being a supportive and approachable point of contact for funded organisations
• Responding to enquiries from grassroots groups who may want to be considered for funding, even where we are not able to accept open applications

People Experience and Insight Partner - FTC

Background and overall purpose of the role:

The People Team at ARUK is undergoing a transformation that will position it brilliantly to enable the successful delivery of the organisation’s strategy. The purpose of the People Team in delivering the organisations goals is to empower our colleagues to thrive by shaping exceptional experiences and culture that unlocks their potential — so ARUK can realise it's vision of a world free from the fear, harm and heartbreak of dementia. This role will play a pivotal role in mapping and creating a shared understanding of the employee experience, defining the aspirational employee experience and supporting the People team in designing tailored, inclusive and innovative solutions to deliver and improve people practices that will deliver the best ever experience.

A key enabler of this will be to design an inclusive continuous listening strategy that will mean our employees have a voice and we are regularly able to gather that insight to help shape people practices.

This is a new role and so there is opportunity for the post holder to shape this role, however it is expected that they will use internal and external data and insight, embed a continuous listening approach and use and embed design thinking practices to develop tailored people solutions.

This is an 18-month FTC.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the creation of an employee experience map across the entire employee journey and use workforce insight to understand the current experience of colleagues.

· Design, implement and embed a continuous learning approach to regularly gather employee insight and feedback to inform the People strategy and design of people initiatives and products.

· Implement an engagement platform to regularly measure employee engagement and sentiment and develop a simple framework that leaders and managers can use to act on the insight.

· Using data and workforce insight create employee persona’s to facilitate targeted, tailored people-centric interventions that will enable delivery of the organisation’s strategy.

· Use design thinking approaches to redesign people products and build this capability within people team

· Support with OKR setting and prioritisation of work based on insight

· Bring thought leadership and emerging concepts in employee experience into ARUK and the People Team, and review benchmarking data and insight to suggest improvements and enhancements.

· Map the employee value proposition and develop the employer brand alongside the Resourcing Team to attract talent to ARUK.

· Assess leadership and management practices and wider people practices and policies and their impact on the employee experience

· Create inclusive approaches that positively impact engagement from the start through to end of the employment journey 

What we are looking for:

Knowledge, skills and experience needed:

· Knowledge and experience of developing a continuous listening approach and embedding tools and platforms to gather regular employee insights and improve engagement.

· Experience of customer and employee journey mapping to be able to identify moments that matter and understand pain points to drive improvements.

· Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.

· Excellent communication skills to be able to engage and build relationships with colleagues at all levels.

· Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and people processes and practices and demonstrable experience of assessing gaps and working with people practitioners to develop initiatives to drive improvement.

· Good understanding of EDI and incorporating these considerations into the design of people practices along the employee lifecycle.

· Knowledge and experience of human centric service design and design thinking approaches to develop people processes and practices.

· Excellent story telling skills to be able to engage internal audiences on the employee experience landscape.

· Excellent data analysis skills and the ability be able to derive insight from various data sources to understand and communicate employee and cultural sentiment.

Cosmic is a small but mighty children’s charity, dedicated to supporting the incredible work of the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, and Queen Charlotte’s Hospital, Hammersmith. Key Responsibilities

External Communications

• Collaborate with the team to develop a communications plan to support Cosmic’s calendar of events, income generation and volunteering, taking ownership of its implementation.
• Manage supporter communications through platforms like Mailchimp, including scheduling updates and mail merges.
• Produce and manage the production and distribution of the charity’s supporter newsletter, corporate newsletter, and other direct marketing materials.
• Develop a GDPR compliant method to gather data from families who benefit from Cosmic Service Delivery, to support conversion to fundraising via a Cosmic communication plan and supporter journey
• Create and execute engaging campaigns for Cosmic, based on our service delivery, to generate income.
• Liaise with celebrity partners to coordinate media campaigns.
• Develop and maintain a bank of photographs and ensure media consent forms are obtained and recorded appropriately.
• Assist fundraising teams in sourcing free advertising opportunities for events, such as community group emails and online platforms.
• Working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver and maximise media opportunities and campaigns that help raise awareness of the Cosmic’s services
• Writing press releases for local, regional and national press covering Cosmic service delivery, events and fundraising campaigns.
• Plan and execute events designed for stewardship and engagement alongside the Cosmic Events Team.
• Support in the development and delivery of the Cosmic ambassador strategy

Internal Communications

• Work closely with supporters, NHS staff, and the NHS Imperial Trust to gather compelling patient, family, unit, and staff stories for promotional purposes.
• Be a visible presence on the wards, building relationships to develop case studies, improve communication, and identify opportunities for collaboration.
• Keep charity notice boards updated with promotional material.
• Contribute to the quarterly Trustee report.
• Ensure that all communication is clearly logged on the Cosmic CRM solution, Donorfy.

Digital

• Manage Cosmic’s social media channels, developing and implementing a consistent and engaging social media plan to promote the charity’s work, events, and fundraising initiatives effectively.
• Digital transformation of the Cosmic website and other digital channels with a consistent and clear brand, ensuring optimal user experience.
• Create engaging and consistent digital designs for all marketing materials on Canva.

Branding and Merchandising

• Design and create a new range of fundraising merchandise and marketing materials to promote the Cosmic brand.
• Support the fundraising team by developing high-quality materials for proposals, events, and activities, and assist in promoting these initiatives.
• Develop and formalise a clear Cosmic Tone of Voice and charity branding, establishing guidelines for how Cosmic presents itself both internally and externally to ensure consistency and alignment with its mission and values.
• Build a Cosmic library of “curated content” with aligned descriptions of who we are and what we do, tailored for different audiences.
• Ensure all internal templates (letterheads, email signatures etc) use the correct colour palette, format and logo.

Administration

• Build a process to balance and prioritise the requirements and request for digital, marketing and communication support from the Cosmic Team
• Respond effectively to incoming telephone calls and emails, ensuring all inquiries are handled professionally.
• Maintain and update the charity’s database of contacts and supporters, taking the lead in implementing changes to improve data recording and analysis.
• Provide support to charity volunteers during activities.
• Develop engaging and relevant supporter journeys using Cosmic audience personas.
• Regular development and gathering of Cosmic case study materials.
• Evaluate the success of campaigns, setting and tracking key metrics, feeding learnings back into future work in a cycle of continuous improvement.
• Prepare and deliver regular, meaningful reporting on communications, to assist and drive strategic communications and marketing decision making.

General

• Build relationships across Cosmic, NHS units, and key stakeholders to identify opportunities for collaboration.
• Stay informed about fundraising sector trends and identify ways to apply them to Cosmic’s work.
• Undertake any other tasks commensurate with the role, adhering to the charity’s time-in-lieu policy.
• Support PICU/NICU with day-to-day needs, including celebrating milestones, organising activities, or assisting families with specific requirements.

Who We’re Looking For

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a marketing or communications role, ideally working within the charity sector.
• Proven success designing and delivering communications plans and campaigns.
• Experience of successfully pitching stories or collaborations to media, journalists and influencers.
• Understanding of how to create engaging content – both written and visual.
• Understanding of how to develop opportunities for coverage and know how to make them happen, and of media and communication trends, with the ability to stay ahead of the curve.

We are looking for a dynamic Programme Manager. The post-holder will play a key role in managing specific programme and partnership activities in partnership countries such as the Gambia, Kenya and Sierra Leone as well as project management, monitoring and reporting for our cross-partnerships strategic project on strengthening health systems through strengthened postgraduate medical education of health worker.

Based in the UK, this role may require line management support to in-country coordinators/UK based Programme Officer(s).The role will require travel for 1 week at a time to monitor projects abroad to our projects/ partnership countries, totalling no more than three times a year.

To enable Operation Smile’s global surgical activities, OSUK’s Partnerships Team works to maximise high-potential income channels such as corporate partnerships, major donors, community fundraisers and trusts and foundations.

We have created an exciting new position in our team for an ambitious and confident relationship fundraiser. Working as part of the Partnership Team, the Philanthropy Manager position will secure critical income from new and existing major donors through compelling, donor-centred approaches and excellent stewardship.

The position will build on existing relationships with individuals who make significant personal donations, aiming to grow their contributions, as well as making approaches to new prospects, working closely with the Director of Partnerships.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Philanthropy Development

• Ensure achievement of annual income target for philanthropy
• Develop and implement plans for a structured philanthropy programme, for both new and existing donors, aligning their giving with our strategic priorities
• Take primary responsibility for managing the current small pool of major donors, to grow and sustain their giving – strategic development of each relationship will be essential
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of new major donor prospects, creating propositions/proposals and making approaches, working with the Director of Partnerships
• Seek peer-to-peer introductions to new prospects, from existing donors, board members and other contacts
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting to donors and internal stakeholders
• Work with the Communications team to generate media presence and content to attract philanthropic interest from new prospects
• Represent Operation Smile UK in global philanthropy discussions, applying any global strategies to develop successful fundraising plans for the UK
• Lead on development and management of any philanthropy cultivation events

Additional Responsibilities

• Create and maintain annual philanthropy budget and business plan, including activities from current supporters and forecasting new business income

We have created an exciting new position in our team for an ambitious and confident relationship fundraiser. Working as part of the Partnership Team and line managing one Partnerships Officer, the Partnerships Manager position will secure critical income from new and existing corporate partners through compelling pitches and excellent stewardship.

The position will build on existing partner relationships with high-profile businesses like Superdrug, the Perfume Shop and Johnson & Johnson, aiming to grow their contributions, as well as making approaches to new prospects in relevant sectors, working closely with the Director of Partnerships.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Corporate Partnerships Development

• Ensure achievement of annual income target for corporate partnerships

What the job involves

As the Project Manager, you’ll lead an innovative pilot designed to tackle late diagnosis of prostate cancer in Black men. Day to day, you’ll shape and deliver a regional model that breaks down systemic barriers to early diagnosis - from coordinating the unification of efforts to address drivers of inequity in prostate cancer to establishing a new bridging fund to support cross-sector partnerships. You’ll work closely with community organisations, Primary Care Networks and NHS stakeholders, bringing people together to build trust and drive practical, measurable improvements.

You’ll be someone who cares deeply about health equity and is motivated by making real change happen for Black men in prostate cancer. We’re looking for someone who has experience designing or delivering community‑based health projects and feels confident working across sectors to build strong, equitable partnerships. General Overview

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and supporting all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders, and partners experience this in our daily delivery.

As the Devon Service Manager, you will oversee all the adult ITRS team and be instrumental in developing and sustaining networks, partnerships and new networks across Devon.  You will be responsible to the Head of Service and be part of the service manager team working closely alongside the other service managers.

Alongside your service manager colleagues, you will play a key leadership role in the delivery, development, and oversight of high-quality services for individuals impacted by domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking, as well as for those who use harmful behaviours. You will be part of a team managing a diverse portfolio of services spanning prevention, crisis intervention, behaviour change, survivor recovery, and professional training. These include in-person interventions and digital platforms, therapeutic services and outreach across all age groups and communities.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our services are trauma-responsive, culturally competent and inclusive, with a strong focus on safeguarding, survivor voice and best practice. You will support teams to deliver consistently excellent support, ensure contract compliance and drive continuous improvement and innovation in a changing landscape.

As part of the Service Manager team, you will also hold strategic responsibility in scoping new projects, supporting research and business development opportunities. You will also ensure that the wellbeing and development of our people is at the front of our management and leadership priorities.

As the Devon Service Manager, you will have experience working with health professionals in a management or training capacity, and a comprehensive understanding of trauma-informed practice and managing risk. • Migration of remaining on premise systems to Microsoft cloud based solutions
• Maintenance of legacy systems and processes where necessary
• Ensuring systems are highly accessible and available
• Advice to the Organisation on best practice on technology

For this role we’re looking for:

• Broad expert technical knowledge of IT Infrastructure based on both cloud and on premise Microsoft technologies
• Knowledge of Dynamics CRM 365 and associated technology
• Knowledge of Azure services, PowerApps, DataVerse
• Knowledge of sound backup and security protocols
• Experience of managing external stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers
• Service Management experience
• IT provision expertise
• Knowledge of MS Intune

Please note this role is a 12 months fixed term contract.
