As Educational Partnerships Manager, you’ll work across Dorset and the South Coast of Hampshire, building partnerships with schools, colleges, youth organisations and community groups-particularly in areas where opportunities are hardest to come by.
You’ll be right in the mix: planning events, delivering programmes, supporting volunteers and connecting with school staff to make sure young people have access to our inspiring enterprise and financial education experiences.

Key Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate annual calendar of volunteer training events
· Work in partnership with the Volunteer Development Manager to understand volunteer recruitment needs across services and the wider team.
· Liaise with services teams to plan and develop the calendar of volunteer training events, both in person and virtual.
· Manage relationships with training venues ensuring desired dates are secured early in line with event requirements and budgets.
· Proactively research new training venues which meet accessibility requirements.
· Work with team members taking a lead on volunteer training delivery to ensure all training materials are up to date and relevant training packs/goodie boxes are distributed to trainees.
· Liaise with trainees to ensure confirmation paperwork is completed in a timely manner and needs relevant to training are met.

Manage volunteer applications and requests

About the role
We’re seeking a senior media and PR officer – policy, campaigns and public health to join our talented and ambitious media and PR team for six months. Supporting the delivery of annual media plans for these areas of work, you’ll leverage our position as leading experts on breast cancer to secure media profile that increases our influence, engagement and support among target audiences, championing the needs of people affected by breast cancer, engaging key policy decision-makers and the NHS through our change-making campaigns and calls to action, and communicating our vital breast health awareness and health information and messaging to key stakeholders and the public to help make change happen now.
This role is a fixed term contract until end of February 2027.
About you
You’ll be great at building trusted and influential relationships across internal and external contacts up to a senior level including colleagues, journalists, contacts at stakeholder organisations (such as NHS and NICE), people affected by breast cancer who support our work, and celebrities and influencers who support Breast Cancer Now.
With an understanding and passion for policy, campaigns, and public health you’ll draw on your experience of working across health communications and/or media/PR environments to digest and distil complex and sensitive information into compelling media copy, with an eye for spotting proactive and reactive media opportunities to secure impactful profile.
Used to working in a fast-moving environment, you’ll work at pace without compromising quality of work and working closely with the senior media and PR manager – policy, campaigns and public health to effectively handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines to amplify the charity’s share of voice as a determined leader, driving progress and changing the future for anyone affected by breast cancer.

As our Events Fundraiser you will be crucial to achieving this. We’re looking for a passionate fundraiser who can turn local energy, events, and ideas into real impact.
You will be a crucial part of a dynamic team, working closely with our Senior Planning and Supporter Income Manager within the fundraising team. You will be a first point of contact for mass participation fundraising enquiries, build meaningful and lasting relationships and actively seek fundraising opportunities.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in relationship building with some fundraising, volunteering or events experience. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be dedicated to improving people’s lives.
Job Description
The post holder will be the first point of contact and lead for third party mass participation activities and work within the fundraising team on other events as needed to assist in the delivery of our events programme. The broad responsibilities will be:
- Plan and oversee our growing third-party mass participation programme, alongside the Senior Manager
- Own the stewardship plans for everyone joining Team Doddie in one of these events, to make sure they love every minute of their challenge

Supporter-facing

The engagement directorate is responsible for growing awareness, trust and engagement with Breast Cancer Now - so more people get support and give support. It leads the £47m we raise annually today and our ambition to grow this to £69m by 2029/30, alongside a new £60m Campaign.

The Role
The Fundraising Manager will:

Requirements
The Fundraising Manager will have:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience; substantial practical fundraising experience is essential
- Significant, hands-on experience of delivering successful fundraising across multiple income streams in the UK charity sector (including community, corporate, events and philanthropy), with the capability to lead across all areas
- Proven track record of leading, motivating and developing teams, including effective management of people processes, to deliver strong results
- Demonstrate strong IT capability, including Microsoft 365 (particularly Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Excel and PowerPoint), with the ability to produce high-quality progress reports and presentations
- Experience of using Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM systems to support fundraising activity, data management and reporting
- Manage budgets effectively, including forecasting, financial performance monitoring and income planning

About the role
You will be responsible for delivering mentoring and leadership programmes, ensuring a high-quality experience for participants and stakeholders.
This will include:
- Leading the coordination and delivery of mentoring and leadership programmes
- Organising and delivering workshops, training sessions and events, both online and in person
- Managing relationships with external consultants and facilitators
- Supporting participants through mentoring processes, including onboarding and engagement
- Using CRM systems to manage data, monitor programme uptake and produce reports
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across academic, research and professional communities
- Developing and producing programme materials, guidance and communications
- Supporting newsletters and website content updates
- Monitoring programme performance and contributing to evaluation and reporting
- Contributing to wider team priorities and organisational initiatives
You will bring a strong track record of delivering programmes or initiatives within a structured, stakeholder-focused environment, alongside a genuine interest in research, higher education, or professional development.
This role is particularly suited to candidates with backgrounds in:
- Higher education, research organisations, charities, policy or not-for-profit sectors
- Programme or project delivery roles, particularly those involving training, events or career development initiatives
- Stakeholder engagement roles, working with academic, clinical or professional audiences
- Have end-to-end experience delivering programmes, events or structured initiatives
- Are confident engaging with senior stakeholders, including academics, researchers or external partners
- Have experience using CRM systems (such as Salesforce) to manage data, track engagement and report on outcomes
- Are highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Have produced communications, reports or guidance materials for professional audiences
- Take a proactive approach to improving processes and participant experience
- Enjoy working collaboratively and are motivated by supporting the development of others
- Have supported mentoring, leadership or EDI-focused programmes
- Have worked with external facilitators or consultants to deliver learning or development activity
- Have insight into the research or academic career landscape, including challenges faced by underrepresented groups
