Scope is seeking an experienced and commercially minded New Business Lead to drive the growth of transformational corporate partnerships that will help create an equal future with disabled people.

Leading the new business function within the Partnerships and Philanthropy team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering Scope’s corporate partnerships new business strategy, identifying and securing high-value partnerships that drive long-term impact and income growth. Working closely with the Head of Partnerships and Philanthropy, you will help shape a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities aligned with Scope’s wider organisational goals.
This role will lead the development of compelling partnership proposals and pitches, building influential relationships with senior stakeholders across the corporate sector and ensuring new opportunities are progressed from prospecting through to successful handover. You will also play a key role in identifying innovative partnership opportunities, building a pipeline, analysing market trends and ensuring all partnerships align with Scope’s values and strategic priorities.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in corporate, with a proven track record of securing corporate partnerships and leading successful income generation strategies. They will bring strong leadership capability, commercial awareness and relationship-building skills, alongside experience managing budgets, performance reporting and complex stakeholder engagement.

The Opportunity
We are excited to be recruiting for a Principal Director to lead business development and commercial growth within our Consulting practice. This is a new role within the practice. Reporting to our Group Directors, the Director will work as part of a practice leadership team that will oversee all aspects of the Consulting team's work, with a focus on partnership development, retention and growth.
You will provide strategic leadership, represent the organisation both internally and externally, and be responsible for driving the commercial performance of the practice, ensuring that ImpactEd Consulting is positioned well as first port of call for schools and social purpose organisations who want to achieve greater impact and sustainability. You will lead a number of sales and marketing campaigns, develop key propositions for our partners, provide high level guidance and advice, scan and respond to relevant tenders and work closely with a team of consultants to ensure we are able to continue to bring accessible expertise to our work and partners.
The role would be ideal for a proven leader with deep understanding and networks across the education sector, a track record in consulting and business development, and the ambition to shape the direction of a growing social enterprise.
About you
As a team focused on research and evaluation, we would also expect roles at this level to demonstrate:
Values and people: Alignment with our values and ability to demonstrate them in your work. You will facilitate conversations about professional development for your direct reports and act as a coach and role model for other members of the team.
Partnership management: Modelling of excellence in partnership management, particularly on proactive driving of partnerships forward, scope management and stakeholder engagement.
Sales and scope design: Leadership of business development for consultancy engagements to support high-complexity partnerships and support our partners to deliver against their knottiest challenges.
Proposition development: Understanding of our sector and ability to combine that with our offers as a practice to create propositions that can drive partnership and business development opportunities.
Reporting and improvement: Ability to listen to and synthesise partner needs to tailor advice and guidance, quality assure others' outputs, and help partners take action off the back of our work.
Our Head Office is in London, and we have satellite offices in Leeds and Lincolnshire, but our team work from across the country; we are happy to support remote, hybrid or office-based working. For this role we anticipate there to be weekly attendance in London, ad-hoc attendance at sector events and three in-person offsites per year

Expected earnings of £75,056-£92,720 (base salary: £63,023-£70,400) with opportunities for performance related pay and annual profit share, dependent on company performance

To achieve their mission they are looking for a Fundraising Manager focused on trusts and grants who will cultivate a pipeline of opportunities and ensure an excellent funder experience, to provide Sight Scotland with sustainable income.
The Fundraising Manager – Trusts is responsible for developing trust income. There is a robust pipeline in place, and huge scope to look beyond the pipeline and work with the service delivery teams to identify new funding opportunities. This role will focus on larger funding bids, and exploring the potential for funding for Sight Scotland Veterans. The role supports the organisation’s purpose to make a significant impact on the lives of people living with visual impairment in Scotland by maximising fundraising income to deliver brilliant services and create a positive impact on our ability to deliver for the long term.
This specialist manager role would suit someone who is already operating at a senior trust fundraiser level, or someone who can demonstrate experience of developing a trust and grants pipeline, creating compelling applications and directly delivering income success.This role will line manage a Trusts Fundraiser (a brand-new post to Sight Scotland), so this could be the ideal opportunity for someone looking to take on people management for the first time.

In this role, you will lead our engagement with mid-level donors – strengthening retention, increasing income and re-engaging supporters through tailored communications, bespoke resources and opportunities for uplift. You will play a vital role in optimising funding from both established and new supporters, ensuring alignment with Bible Society’s mission priorities.
Alongside this, you will build and nurture key relationships through the management of a portfolio of current and prospective major donors, delivering significant levels of income against agreed targets. You will help donors fulfil their philanthropic ministry by connecting their generosity with the mission of Bible Society.
An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.
