We are at an ambitious and exciting stage, redesigning and expanding our portfolio of learning products and delivering a growing programme of in-person, online and hybrid events including major conferences like our Global AI Conference.
As our Events Administrator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of meetings and conferences that make a real difference to clinical care. Working closely with our Conference Organiser and the wider Learning Team, as well as colleagues in marketing, sponsorship and external stakeholders, you’ll help us deliver events that inspire, educate and connect healthcare professionals worldwide.
What you’ll do

Support the planning and delivery of high-quality events across the UK and globally.

Coordinate logistics, manage registrations, and ensure delegates and speakers have an exceptional experience.

Work with subject matter experts, sponsors and partners to bring events to life.

Provide outstanding customer service and troubleshoot on the day to keep everything running smoothly.

Experience in event administration and logistics (in-person, online and hybrid).

Confidence using Microsoft Office and online event platforms (e.g., Zoom).

FUNDRAISING OFFICER
Supporter focused Fundraising Officer role with SAT 7 UK, delivering supporter engagement, donor stewardship and fundraising campaigns to grow impact across the Middle East & North Africa.
Location: Hybrid (Chippenham office) – ideally 1 day a week onsite (minimum 1 day per month)

We’re looking for a well organised, warm, and proactive Fundraising Officer to help strengthen supporter relationships, individual giving, and deliver excellent donor experiences.
You will:
- Nurture supporters through calls, emails, and written communications
- Support fundraising appeals, regular giving, welcome journeys, and campaigns
- Work closely with the Fundraising & Impact Manager on donor stewardship
- Deliver monthly Joy Bringer campaign calls
- Contribute to direct marketing campaigns
- Maintain accurate and timely supporter records

The Role
Working with the Chief Executive and others, to develop a multi-disciplinary team covering income generation, marketing, communications and engagement to rasie c£2m income.
Review income generation, marketing and communications trends, approaches and evaluation frameworks. Conduct further research and evaluation as required and set against sector comparators.
Conduct analysis of the charitys audiences, both existing and potential, with a view to maximising opportunities for engagement, influence, giving and volunteering.
Create an integrated brand, marketing and income generation strategy, with clear delivery plans and evaluation frameworks.
Review and lead development of the individual giving programme, both traditional and digital, including membership, friends schemes and mid-level giving programme as a funnel to major gifts and legacies.
The Candidate
Track record at senior level with demonstrable experience across income generation, marketing and communications disciplines.
Demonstrable experience of building, implementing and evaluating income generation and engagement strategies.
Demonstrable experience of integrating brand, marketing and income generation strategies and the teams delivering them to achieve both financial and wider organisational targets (e.g. homing, influence etc.).
Budgetary understanding and experience; able to understand corporate budgets and management accounts, build and manage
annual budgets and accurately forecast both income and expenditure.
Significant experience of line management and team development, setting objectives and goals and holding regular supervision and one to-one meetings.

About the role
In this role, you’ll be one of the first points of contact for our incredible supporters who are ‘doing their own’ fundraising and you’ll also play an important role in the day to day running of the mass ‘DIY fundraising’ programme.
This will include responding to supporter enquiries, sending out fundraising materials, and managing our community fundraising Facebook group.
Providing operational support to the wider team is a key part of this role. This will include processing invoices, working with external suppliers to replenish and manage stock levels, and accurately delivering processes such as coding income and thanking supporters.
You’ll be joining a passionate and supportive team who are based across the UK. There will be lots of opportunities to develop skills and knowledge through working with others and accessing our organisation’s learning and development programme, as well as being encouraged to attend sector webinars.
About you
We’re looking for someone with strong communication skills, who takes pride in delivering the highest standard of supporter or customer care. You’re someone who’ll enjoy engaging with our incredible supporters and hearing their stories and will have previous experience of providing excellent support via email and over the phone.
You’ll have experience of working in an administrative or operational role, which involved following different processes. With great organisational skills, you can manage and prioritise a varied workload, ensuring deadlines are met. You're a team player who enjoys helping others and sharing ideas but also feels confident working independently.
If you’ve worked for a charity before, or have community fundraising experience, that’s a bonus. However, it’s more important that you have a passion for making a difference, and an enthusiasm for helping to create an exceptional fundraising experience for our supporters.
