- Maintain accurate records and databases in line with GDPR requirements and support the effective management of programme and College budgets.
Team Contribution
- Contribute as an active member of the Leadership Development Team and wider Ministry Development Team, supporting shared priorities and contributing to the delivery of cross-team initiatives.
Governance
- Support the effective oversight of this work through regular reporting to the Leadership Development Advisory Group and other oversight committees as required.

About the role
The Head of Fundraising and Development role offers an exceptional opportunity to shape Woman’s Trust’s income strategy, develop new partnerships and play a central role in the organisation’s next phase of growth.
We are seeking an established income-generation leader who combines strategic and commercial judgement with a willingness to remain hands-on. We are seeking an experienced and technically strong finance professional to lead our Financial Accounting and transaction processing functions. This is a senior role within the Finance / Resources directorate, reporting to the Director of Resources and playing a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and effectiveness of the College’s financial accounting arrangements.
The postholder will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the financial accounting and transaction processing teams, supporting statutory reporting, technical accounting, treasury management, tax compliance, financial systems development and effective financial control across the group. The role covers the accounting arrangements for the College, its subsidiary and the Malaysian company, with responsibility for maintaining high-quality accounting records and supporting informed decision-making by senior leaders and the Trustee Board.
About the role
You will lead the preparation of annual financial statements for the group and single entity, ensure timely submission of regulatory returns, and provide expert advice on technical accounting matters including FRS 102, Charity SORP, OSCR requirements, VAT and other tax matters. You will also oversee key reconciliations, maintain effective financial controls, manage treasury arrangements and banking relationships, and support the development of financial systems and procedures.
As a senior member of the finance team, you will work closely with the Head of Financial Reporting and Analysis, senior leaders, committee chairs, external auditors, consultants and colleagues across the organisation. You will also lead, motivate and develop a team of
6 colleagues, ensuring strong performance, effective processes and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the production of annual financial statements and associated notes for the group and single entity.
- Oversee statutory and regulatory returns, including OSCR, Companies House, HMRC and other relevant submissions.
- Provide technical accounting advice and ensure compliance with FRS 102, Charity SORP and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Manage control account reconciliations, ledger integrity and financial accounting processes across the organisation.
- Lead treasury management, banking relationships, investment broker liaison and online banking controls.
- Ensure effective VAT, corporation tax and other tax compliance, maximising tax recovery where appropriate.
- Develop and maintain financial accounting policies, procedures, systems and controls.
- Lead, manage and develop the financial accounting and transaction processing teams.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects and deputise for the Director of Resources as required.
About you
You will be a qualified accountant with a recognised professional accountancy qualification, such as ICAEW, ICAS, ICAI, ACCA or CIMA, and significant experience in financial accounting. You will bring strong technical knowledge, ideally gained within an FRS 102 or similar environment, together with the ability to interpret complex financial requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
You will have excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills, with the confidence to advise senior finance and non-finance colleagues, present complex information clearly, and manage competing priorities. Experience of staff management, team development, financial systems, advanced Excel and working with external auditors or advisers will be important. Knowledge of Charity SORP, fixed asset accounting under FRS 102, or experience in charity or public sector would be advantageous.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, highly organised and proactive Executive Officer to support the Secretary of the Conference.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of the Methodist Church's governance, leadership and decision-making structures.
Working closely with the Secretary of the Conference and colleagues across the Conference Office, you will provide executive, governance and project support, helping to ensure the effective delivery of key priorities and the smooth operation of major governance processes.
The role combines executive support, committee and governance administration, research and briefing, stakeholder engagement and project coordination. It offers the opportunity to work with senior leaders, office holders and colleagues from around the Methodist Connexion and beyond.
The post holder will provide advice and support to the Secretary of the Conference across the entire range of their responsibilities. They will prepare briefing papers, reports, presentations, worship material and other documentation supporting the Secretary.
In this crucial role, the Executive Officer will read committee and meeting papers and flag items requiring the Secretary's attention/awareness, ensuring appropriate briefings are received and that the Secretary is alerted to key issues.
The post holder will also lead on the preparation for regular meetings on behalf of the Secretary of the Conference including the Connexional Leaders’ Forum and the Nominations Committee. Sabre Education is an international NGO which, since 2004, has been providing children in Ghana with the best possible early childhood education by partnering with government to implement play-based learning at scale. Sabre focuses on:

About the role
This is a senior strategic position within the organisation, sitting on the senior leadership team, reporting to the CEO and working closely with colleagues across the UK and Ghana.

The role:
This role covers the current post-holder's maternity leave for an anticipated 15 months. As Financial Controller you will lead CSE's finance team, directing and overseeing the finance function in compliance with appropriate accounting standards and practices, company and charity law.
You will provide timely, accurate financial and management information to support strategic decision-making and effective budgetary control by our Senior Leadership Team, Trustees, project managers and other budget holders. Specific responsibilities

- Take responsibility for day-to-day accounting, invoicing, payroll, VAT returns, payments and banking, credit control and cash management, including timely monthly management accounts.

Coram Children’s Legal Centre (CCLC) is the UK’s specialist centre for children’s rights championing access to justice through information and advice, legal practice and representation, policy and strategic litigation. Our Legal Practice Unit provides advice and representation in child and family law, education law, community care law and asylum and immigration law.
Part of Coram’s growing Children’s Rights Centre, CCLC is co-located with Coram Voice, the specialist provider of advocacy services for young people in and leaving the care system, in the new Queen Elizabeth II Centre at the heart of our historic campus in Bloomsbury.
About the role
Coram Children’s Legal Centre is looking for a new Paralegal to join our dedicated, friendly and highly experienced Immigration & Asylum team.
The successful candidate will assist solicitors and senior caseworkers in providing legal advice and representation to primarily legal aid funded clients, including children and young people, parents, carers and others in relation to their immigration & asylum needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen interest in upholding the rights of vulnerable children and young people who is seeking to progress their legal aid career in the charity sector. Our fee earners benefit from a good work-life balance and realistic financial and chargeable hour targets.
Our immigration lawyers work closely with colleagues in other teams in the Legal Practice Unit (community care, family and education law), as well as with other departments within the Coram group, including Coram Voice and the Policy Team. As well as conducting casework for individuals, our immigration & asylum team undertakes strategic litigation for the wider benefit of children, young people and families, and has participated in several interventions in the higher courts.
The successful candidate should be highly organised and able to use their initiative to complete tasks independently, however we also offer excellent supervision and training opportunities, and we support all our employees in their career progression.
