Purpose of the role
You will be the credit control assistant and will manage the Group's sales ledger and related financial and accounting records, including bank reconciliations. You will assist the Group Management Accountant in managing accounts receivable and improving cashflow by focusing on mitigating risks and ensuring credit issued by the Group is paid in full and on a timely basis.
In this role you will:
- Be responsible for the financial administration of client accounts
- Assist in the collection of external client debt
- Act as the accounts receivable administrator
- Liaise with colleagues providing support and advice on financial procedures

Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities
Finance (approx. 70%)
- Manage the effective running of the Finance function, including weekly supplier payments and the month-end close process.
- Oversee accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, VAT tracking, inter-company transactions, and journals.

About You
- Recognised accounting qualification (AAT or above).

What you will be doing
This is a strategic and creative role at the heart of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People’s national fundraising and engagement efforts. The post holder will lead the development and delivery of national community and challenge event programmes across all four UK regions (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland).
Using strong project and campaign management skills, the role will grow existing initiatives charity owned initiatives such as the Great British Dog Walk and the 28 Challenge and develop new, audience-led campaigns that inspire public participation, drive fundraising, and deepen long-term engagement with the charity.
In addition to the owned initiatives, the role will promote Hearing Dogs for Deaf People to participants of external national events such as The Great North Run or the London Marathon.

Our step-change in impact with children will be achieved by a step-change in our philanthropy & partnerships: as our new Senior Prospect Research Manager you'll take a crucial role in this transformation through strategic development and delivery of the full Philanthropy Programme prospect identification and pipeline management framework to enable high quality research, cultivation, stewardship of high value philanthropists and partners in support of TCS
In order to be successful in this role, you must have:
-Extensive knowledge and understanding of Philanthropy audiences (particularly high net worth individuals and corporates) including motivations for giving and the principles of major gift fundraising to include identification, research, solicitation and stewardship
-Strong track record of successful performance as a prospect/fundraising researcher, including experience conducting due diligence within the not-for-profit sector
-Excellent written and presentation skills and confident ability to deliver verbal and written proposals up to CEO / Board level
-Excellent knowledge of legal, regulatory and ethical environment of philanthropy fundraising, including General Data Protection Regulation

We are looking for a passionate and strategic campaigner, change-maker or systems change practitioner to be our new Social Change Manager, leading our ambitious, cross-organisational Stigma Programme. This programme brings together multiple strands of work – from policy change and partnerships to narrative change and storytelling.
You will lead on engaging and mobilising private, public and third sector stakeholders to reduce stigma. With understanding of systems thinking and/or narrative change, the Social Manager will be able to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder workstreams while keeping a focus on long-term impact.
We offer flexible working patterns, both in terms of hours and remote working. Please note that all employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 4 days a month on a weekly basis.

The stigma associated with needing financial support and our social security system presents a major barrier to our organisational vision. Therefore, our new Stigma Programme brings together multiple strands of work – from policy change and partnerships to narrative change and storytelling – seeking to reduce internalised, societal and institutional stigma.
We are looking for a passionate and change-maker to be our new Social Change Manager, driving forward and coordinating this long-term and exciting programme. It will involve movement building and close collaboration with a range of external partners, including the many organisations in our sector who are trying to change the narrative around our social security system and our corporate partners such as Royal London.

As a key member of the PLANETS Cancer Charity team, you will identify and secure new funding opportunities from corporate donors, foundations, and grant-making bodies.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Corporate Fundraising and Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners and key stakeholders with regular contact, to foster long-term support for PLANETS. Develop and deliver impactful presentations, attend events, and secure donations through engagement activities.
- Grant Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with charitable trusts and foundations, and their key stakeholders with regular contact, to foster long-term support for PLANETS. Manage the grant application process from start to finish, including creating high-quality, persuasive and tailored proposals and applications, tracking deadlines, ensuring compliance with requirements, and delivering progress reports.
- New Business Development: Proactively seek out and secure new corporate partnerships and funding opportunities to expand PLANETS' income streams.

We are looking for an outstanding individual to join our Development and Alumni Relations team to help guide and deliver ourregular giving and stewardship programmes. The ideal candidate will have experience of running successful major fundraising appeals to large audiences. They will have the ability to draft persuasive and accurate copy to support both fundraising and stewardship literature. They will be highly motivated and creative, driving new initiatives to boost participation, increase overall giving, while also increasing retention of donors through an outstanding, tailored stewardship programme. About the role
This role supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of ABN events such as conferences, webinars, and training sessions, ensuring smooth logistics for both virtual and in-person activities. Key responsibilities include managing delegate and speaker administration, maintaining accurate event records, preparing event materials, and handling post-event feedback and reporting. The position also provides general administrative support, assists with website updates, sponsorship information, and CPD requirements, while ensuring accurate membership and event history records are maintained.
