About the role

This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing operations across multiple sites, leading large teams and ensuring high standards of service delivery.

About you

Experience within a relevant sector is beneficial, but not essential. More important is your ability to lead complex operations and deliver results.

The Soldiers' and Aviators' Scripture Readers Association (known as SASRA) is one of the longest-established Christian charities supporting the British Armed Forces. Critically, you will possess the spiritual endowment to promote prayer and missionary interest for the Lord's work through the Association in HM Forces.

You will be home-based, but expected to travel inside your region on a regular basis, meeting with supporters and supporting organisations that are raising funds for SASRA

You will be responsible for raising our profile among the Christian community and generating significant levels of engagement with potential supporters of SASRA (both individuals and churches)

Some aptitude for, and experience of, pastoral work is desirable.

The role comprises:

· Liaising and co-operating with HQ staff, Scripture Readers, Advocates, Representatives, Members, Chaplains and Commanding Officers.

· Handling money and overseeing the accounting, costing, and billing of your activities

Technical Capabilities:

You'll need some basic IT skills and a familiarity with social media, but training will be provided. Good spreadsheet or project management skills would be an advantage, as would any experience with producing marketing material and/or infographics.

The Job

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Head of Finance and Reporting will lead all aspects of financial planning, reporting and control. Trauma Recovery CIC is a female founded not-for-profit Community Interest Company dedicated to providing vital support services for victims and survivors of trauma. Founded in 2020, our mission is to build a safe, supportive, accessible, and sustainable service for the community.

Butterflies Lived Experience Community is an integral part of Trauma Recovery CIC, bringing together people with lived experience of sexual, domestic and/or relational trauma to form a community that supports each members ongoing recovery journey.

Every member of the Butterflies team has direct personal lived experience of sexual, domestic and/or relational trauma and use their own courage to support others to connect with theirs and use this to fuel their recovery.

The team consists of level 1,2 and 3 Lived Experience Facilitators, Volunteer Ambassadors who come together to support community members and develop the service on a co-production model. 

The Level 3 LEF Role

Our Level 3 LEF role requires a Social Work qualification and registration.

As well as facilitating groups and key working, Level 3 LEF’s take responsibility for:

• Completing initial appointments with new community members to ensure that the team has a good
  understanding of their support needs and that they can be safely supported through Butterflies LEC.

• Mentoring and supporting the Level 1 and 2 LEF’s and Ambassadors

• Working with community members, team members, Trauma Recovery leadership team and partner
  organisations to develop the service.

• Facilitating the understanding trauma programmes

• Providing reporting data to Trauma Recovery CIC Business Operations Lead and working with them to complete
  reports for funders and funding/grant applications.

• Co-chairing the Lived Experience Forum

• Ensure that all team members complete required admin accurately and in a timely manner and processes are

• Is someone who has walked their own recovery journey, experienced therapeutic support as part of this and understands the benefits on both a personal and professional level of therapy and group support.
• They will be a qualified, registered Social Worker with relevant social work experience of co-ordinating a service, mentoring team members and working from a systemic perspective.
• They will have experience of completing risk assessments, keeping records and using software and systems to do this effectively.
• They will be able to communicate and connect with people from a variety of backgrounds, understand their individual needs and work creatively to meet them in way that supports recovery.

EDIS is a coalition of organisations working to improve equality, diversity and inclusion within the science and health research sectors. Originally established by The Francis Crick Institute (The Crick), Wellcome Trust (Wellcome) and GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), the British Science Association (BSA) has recently taken over the hosting of the coalition (from February 2026), working in partnership with the Crick, and funded by a seven-year grant from Wellcome.

The new Head of EDIS will provide strategic leadership for the EDIS programme, positioning EDIS as a trusted, influential voice and source of sector support on equity, diversity and inclusion across science and health research.

EDIS is a long-term programme with national reach. The Head of EDIS will be responsible for shaping and implementing the EDIS strategy in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring activities are valued by members and aligned with the coalition’s values and objectives and contributing to the long-term sustainability and evolution of the programme beyond the grant period. The role holder will lead a dedicated team, cultivate a culture of inclusivity, and champion the impact of EDIS across and beyond the coalition, ultimately supporting the advancement of equitable practices and opportunities in science and health.

Key responsibilities

Develop and deliver the EDIS strategy

• Review and update the EDIS strategy, working with key stakeholders, including developing an implementation plan, KPIs and a theory of change.
• Lead on engagement with EDIS members and prospective members, the EDIS Advisory Group, and senior external stakeholders including funders, policy makers and national bodies to shape and deliver the EDIS strategy.
• Oversee delivery of the EDIS strategy, reporting on progress and collecting, using and sharing evidence, evaluation and learning to shape priorities, activities and outputs.

Recruit, lead, support and champion the EDIS team

• Recruit the ‘core’ EDIS team, with direct line management responsibilities for the EDIS Programme Manager and EDIS Community Manager.
• Develop a strong, collaborative team culture for EDIS, reflecting the values of the BSA and of EDIS, and inspiring the team to develop and contribute to the programme and strategy.
• Champion the work of EDIS across the BSA and more widely.

Develop and deliver EDIS activities

• Network and build strong relationships with EDIS members and prospective members.
• Support and work with the EDIS team to deliver the ‘embedding EDI’ workstream of the EDIS Strategy, and to provide overall co-ordination on the delivery of the other workstreams (Inclusive Research and Inclusive Leadership), including the development of shared definitions, principles, frameworks and practical guidance for the sector.
• Provide strategic oversight of EDIS activities, working closely with the BSA Grants (Community Engagement) team and our partners at the Crick.
• Act as a senior advocate and spokesperson for EDIS, working closely with the Policy & Public Affairs team to influence policy and practice and to position EDIS as a credible, evidence-led voice on EDI.

Support the EDIS membership

• Consult and collaborate with the EDIS members, and prospective members, to ensure that their views are listened and responded to.
• Steward current and prospective EDIS members, ensuring there is a vibrant, engaged community and membership offer. This may require regular travel, particularly to London.
• Lead on the sharing of insights and updates to EDIS members on key developments and updates.
• Work closely with Head of Fundraising and Membership to grow the EDIS membership, and to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of EDIS.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of developing and delivering EDI strategies and Experience in leading a significant project, programme or discrete area, setting strategy, and influencing stakeholders towards its aims and objectives.

About the Role

As a Team Leader you will ensure excellent service delivery in accordance with the service specification and performance targets. You will need to be able to support operational staff to deliver high quality, risk led and tailored support. You will focus on the performance management of team members including the allocation and auditing of cases in line with service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for completing case audits, reviews and reviewing data to ensure oversight of teams
• Responsible for capturing data and evidence around the outcomes of the service
• Responsible for allocating work across the wider team - analysing data to monitor patterns, trends and comparing these to resources
• Be a designated safeguarding officer, available to make defensible decisions quickly and effectively on safeguarding matters ensuring the dignity, safety and security of victims is at the heart of your work. This will also include providing guidance and support to staff.
• Work with the Operations Manager to ensure excellent service delivery in line with business plans by reviewing data and information to effectively address any performance issues.
• Responsible for the line management of team members including responsibility for recruitment, training completion, performance management and monitoring, continued support and guidance and implementing all relevant VS policies and procedures
• Promote effective communication channels including co-ordinating and facilitating regular team meetings, sharing feedback and learning to share with other colleagues.
• Represent the service and victims at external events including HRDA, DA forums etc where needed.

About You:

You will hold an approved and accredited IDVA qualification and will ideally have had previous line management experience and be confident leading a team.

You will need:

• A strong understanding of domestic abuse and violence and the impact this has on victims.
• Experience of working in a challenging and changing environment with an emphasis on customer focus and excellence in service delivery.
• Demonstrable experience of providing crisis management, support and guidance in sometimes stressful and difficult situations to a team with a client service focus.
• Have excellent communication, negotiation and advisory skills, both written and verbal when interacting professionally with a range of agencies and individuals.
• Work without direct supervision, prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/ needs and interests in an organised and methodical manner.
• Gather, analyse and use information and evidence from different sources to solve problems and report on data quality and compliance
• An understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and other legal requirements
• Good IT skills including experience with working within bespoke case management systems and using Microsoft Office Packages, specifically Excel

This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. The role

As Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will be a driving force behind MedicAlert's life-saving mission, developing, securing and stewarding partnerships across the charity, public and private sectors.

You will own the full partnership lifecycle - from research and relationship building through to delivery, evaluation and renewal - working closely with the Director of Marketing and Development, CEO and Leadership Team. Acting as a central point of coordination internally and externally, you will design partnership models that deliver meaningful social impact alongside sustainable income and organisational growth

Key responsibilities

• Identify, research and prioritise prospective strategic partners whose values, audiences and objectives align with MedicAlert's mission
• Develop and implement flexible partnership models across sectors, assessing opportunities based on impact, reach, income and strategic value
• Lead the development and management of partnership proposals, negotiations and agreements
• Deliver partnership-led income generation, including B2B sales of MedicAlert membership, sponsorship and commercial opportunities
• Build and steward strong, long-term relationships, ensuring mutual commitments are delivered effectively
• Coordinate partnership activity across the organisation, ensuring clarity, feasibility and strong internal engagement
• Monitor, evaluate and report on partnership performance, impact and ROI for a range of internal audiences

About you

You will be an experienced partnerships or business development professional with a track record of developing and managing strategic partnerships that deliver tangible results.

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Project Manager (Mourne Park) to undertake the successful delivery of The National Lottery Heritage Fund project, Mourne Park - 500 years of undiscovered natural heritage. 

The Role:

• Achieve the targets agreed with the Estate and Projects Manager, based on the programme of works, and provide monthly progress updates.
• Maintain full project management control and budget responsibility across the programme, ensuring all Heritage Fund/WTNI reporting and recording systems are kept up to date, work programmes are delivered on time, and confidentiality is always maintained.
• Direct the project team delivering all access projects and on site interpretation, ensuring alignment with the Access & Interpretation Plans and the Diversity & Inclusion report.
• Oversee all procurement undertaken by the project team for access, interpretation, woodland creation and related projects, ensuring compliance with Heritage Fund/WTNI requirements and agreement from the Site Manager. Provide effective management and supervision of contractors and support the project team in doing the same.
• Coordinate and provide leadership to the project team, overseeing implementation of heritage conservation projects identified by the wider programme, including writing management plans when required. Promote good practice in landscape design and the conservation of landscape features.
• Liaise closely with partners, interested organisations, local communities, visitors and the media, fostering strong working relationships. Identify, review and meet with potential partners whose objectives align with the project, and attend meetings, forums and events to promote the project, the Woodland Trust and funders.
• Carry out data collection, surveys, research, appraisals and information gathering, producing monitoring reports as required.
• Support the Conservation Officer with practical “on the ground" work and assist the Community Development Officer with engagement activities such as events and volunteer tasks. Additionally, supporting the Community Development Officer in their work with children, young people and vulnerable adults across local community and educational settings.
• Develop an exit strategy for the project programme to enable the Trust to continue delivering at Mourne Park following the end of National Lottery Heritage Fund support.
• This is a homebased role, requiring regular travel to Mourne Park and around Northern Ireland, sometimes to remote locations. Occasional travel to regional offices and overnight stays will be required. You would be expected to live within reasonable travelling distance of your area of responsibility.
• This is a fixed term contract until December 2029. 

The Candidate:

• You’ll have proven programme and project delivery experience across complex, multi disciplinary workstreams, coordinating internal and external expertise to deliver on time and within budget.
• You’ll be experienced in forestry or conservation land management, including volunteer coordination and community engagement.
• You’ll have a strong track record in land management and partnership projects, with strategic planning, long-term visioning and budget forecasting skills.
• You’ll be an experienced, motivating leader who is able to inspire, develop and hold accountable multi disciplinary teams while fostering collaboration across dispersed colleagues.
• You’ll be skilled in public facing communications, including consultations, media engagement, lobbying and event management.
• You’ll have demonstrated success delivering access infrastructure and interpretation projects on public and private land to enhance visitor experience.
• You’ll be commercially aware and opportunity focused, able to balance organisational benefit with cost, deliver value for money, and identify cost-effective ways to advance partnership aims.
• You’ll be innovative, collaborative and professionally qualified, preferably educated to HND/degree level in a relevant field, able to work across diverse teams. You will also hold a full driving licence for necessary travel across a wide area.
• The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Background Check, as part of our pre-employment screening.
