Working collaboratively with the Service Manager/Team Manager, you will assess referrals and develop, review, and monitor support, safety, and move-on plans. You will build strong partnerships with external agencies, families, carers, and other key supporters to ensure coordinated and effective support. The role also involves helping service users access healthcare, education, training, employment, and other opportunities that support their recovery journey, while encouraging participation in social and skills-development activities that promote inclusion and confidence. As part of a flexible and supportive team, you will contribute to maintaining a safe, welcoming environment, oversee health and safety requirements, support tenancy sustainment including occupancy agreements and rent payments, and provide information and signposting to carers so they can access the support available to them.

Right now, we are looking for a Specialist Recovery Worker to play a pivotal role in our Recovery Cafe in Wandsworth.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

As a Recovery Worker, the person would be managing a caseload of clients who need early intervention or preventative support with their mental health. They would deliver group activities and one-to-one sessions, co-produce recovery plans, and empower service users to engage with professionals across the community such as mental health teams, housing providers, and social services. The role also involves monitoring wellbeing and safety, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring referrals and reviews are timely. Day-to-day, the Recovery Worker contributes to a supportive team environment, working flexibly to meet service needs and contractual obligations while promoting recovery-focused approaches.

You will be working between the hours of 3.30pm - 11.30pm - including weekends and bank holidays

About the role

This role is based in Pontypool Police Station, Pontypool, it is offered on a hybrid working basis and there is a requirement for travel throughout the area.

As a Caseworker- Children and Uong People you will be:

The Role

About You

We are looking for someone who understands pregnancy, birth preparation, early parenthood and the emotional realities of becoming a parent.

You may have worked as a midwife, maternity support worker, antenatal educator, early year’s practitioner, family support worker, health-related practitioner, or in another relevant role supporting families during pregnancy and the early years.

You will bring:

• Experience or strong knowledge of antenatal support, pregnancy and early parenthood
• Confidence delivering group sessions or antenatal education
• Good understanding of early attachment, infant development and postnatal adjustment
• Awareness of perinatal mental health and the impact of trauma, stress and isolation
• Experience supporting families during pregnancy, birth preparation or early parenthood
• Experience delivering group-based support, education or facilitation
• Good understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries

This is a non-clinical family support role. You will not provide medical advice, diagnosis, clinical maternity care or infant feeding clinical support. Where families need specialist health, maternity, mental health or safeguarding support, the postholder will follow procedures and signpost or escalate appropriately.

As a Navigator, you will support veterans furthest from employment to engage in meaningful activity and take gradual steps towards work. Founded in 2022, the Warm Welcome Campaign wants everyone in the UK to find a place of belonging and reconnection at a Warm Welcome Space near their home. We have a bold ambition to enable a more deeply connected society where we all have free access to welcoming community spaces. 

We resource, connect and champion a network of over 6,300 Warm Welcome Spaces and bring together a growing coalition of local, regional, and national partners representing the worlds of charity, faith, business, government, and philanthropy. By working together, we can unlock the power of community spaces made by and for everyone, creating a thriving network of hope and reconnection fueled by human warmth. 

We’re working hard to reach everyone with the message that a Warm Welcome is waiting for them just around the corner, all through the year.

The Opportunity

Working closely with the Warm Welcome Spaces Support Manager and wider team your primary responsibility will be to provide Project Coordination related to projects that are designed to support Warm Welcome Spaces, taking ownership of specific projects and tasks as required, including;

Project Coordination:

• Owns and manages parts of a project and ensures successful delivery - for example within the Warm Welcome Champions Programme or Partnership volunteering opportunities to benefit Spaces. This will include organising specific events as part of wider projects

• Develops project plans and timelines and maintains updates and progress

• Communicates clearly about a project and ensures the project is keeping to the planned timeline and outcomes, identifying any delivery challenges quickly

Effective financial control is central to our strategy and operating model. The finance officer plays an essential role in maintaining control over our finances and operations. You will process and monitor financial transactions, liaise with our payroll bureau regarding staff payroll and pensions and support the Head of finance. You will be experienced in using Dynamics 365 Business Central as an accounting system.

This is a part-time role for two days a week (0.4FTE), with flexibility about when the hours are worked. It's a hybrid role, working from home and from our office. You will report to our Head of finance. You will also work with all staff on financial matters including personal and credit card expenses, central and project income and expenditure, and processing of payroll by liaising with our external bureau.
