Job description

Nightstop Network Officer

We are seeking a confident relationship-builder to strengthen a national network of services preventing homelessness among young people.

Join a purpose-driven team where your creativity, confidence and passion for young people will directly prevent homelessness and create lasting change in communities.

Position: Nightstop Network Officer
Salary: £32,606 to £36,106 per annum
Location: National, with applications welcomed from London, Manchester and the North East
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

Regular travel across the UK and occasional evening work will be required.

About the role

Nightstop and Supported Lodgings services provide safe accommodation for young people facing homelessness. As Nightstop Network Officer, you will help ensure these services operate effectively, meet quality standards and continue to grow.

Working with internal teams and partner organisations across the UK, you will provide expert guidance, oversee accreditation and compliance, deliver training and use data to improve services and outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

· Acting as a national point of contact for Nightstop and Supported Lodgings enquiries

· Supporting services to achieve and maintain accreditation and quality standards

· Developing partnerships that help grow the Nightstop network

· Building relationships with frontline teams, senior managers and external stakeholders

· Designing and delivering training, resources, network forums and events

· Collecting, analysing and evaluating national performance data

· Producing reports and service improvement action plans

· Advising network staff on safeguarding concerns

· Recruiting, supervising and motivating volunteers

· Supporting fundraising reports with statistics, information and case studies

· Helping to coordinate the annual Nightstop conference

· Maintaining accurate safeguarding, health and safety and incident records

About you

You will be a skilled relationship-builder with experience of stakeholder management, training delivery and service quality improvement.

You will also bring:

· A strong understanding of youth homelessness

· Experience of developing and influencing partnerships

· Confidence communicating with frontline staff and senior leaders

· Experience designing and facilitating training, forums or conferences

· Knowledge of volunteer management and good practice

· Experience implementing quality assessment or accreditation frameworks

· The ability to analyse data and present findings clearly

· Strong written communication and report-writing skills

· An understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries

· A commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion

· Willingness to travel regularly throughout the UK
