Job description

Project Coordinator – Street Paws
Full time (35 hours/week) · Home based with regional travel across Yorkshire

Street Paws is growing, and we’re looking for someone to help us bring our work to Yorkshire. Our model is already well established across the North East and North West, and now we want to replicate that success by offering direct support to hostels and temporary accommodation providers in the region.

You’ll be the driving force behind our regional services in Yorkshire: coordinating outreach sessions and vet clinics, growing our Pet Champion Scheme with housing providers and hostels, and building strong partnerships with local authorities, vets and community organisations. You’ll also support and inspire our volunteers, share the stories that show our impact, and make sure everything we do is safe and puts welfare first.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience in a charity, community or outreach setting
  • A background in coordinating projects or services
  • Experience working with vulnerable people or those with complex needs
  • Confidence building relationships with partners and agencies
  • Strong organisation and communication skills

An understanding of homelessness, pet welfare or safeguarding would be a bonus, but what matters most is compassion, resilience and a commitment to our mission.

The role includes occasional evening and weekend work. A driving licence is desirable but not essential.

PLEASE NOTE; Location within the Yorkshire area will be essential to this role.
