Responsibilities of our Data Import Developer:
The Data Import Developer role is designed to provide dedicated delivery capacity for data development and change work that enables Marketing & Income Generation and, beyond that, wider charity system developments, supports compliance, and reduces operational risk.
This role will focus on improving and building data processes and flows (including CRM side Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes) so that issues are addressed at source, technical debt is minimised, and data is consistently reliable and usable across teams.
About the Data & Analytics team:
The Data & Analytics team are a department of 17 people in the Marketing & Income Generation directorate consisting of four sub-teams : data processing, data selections, data analytics and customer journeys.
The data processing sub-team are responsible for importing supporter data into our main CRM from numerous different data sources and developing the import routines to do so, they are also responsible for data integrity; ensuring data is accurate and up to date, and maintaining our single customer and supporter view.
What we’re looking for in our Data Import Developer:
Experience developing, improving or implementing data processes, flows, validation or matching logic within a CRM or comparable data environment.
Experience translating business requirements into stable data solutions and documented processes.
Experience working with complex datasets to identify root cause, reduce recurrence, and improve reliability.
Experience of building or improving imports/transformations using an ETL/import tool
Experience coordinating testing/validation and supporting adoption/handover of new processes.
Experience working with a contacts database (CARE NG Database, Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM)
Experience of working with financial data and of reconciliation processes
Experience using Blender or similar import tool

Responsibilities and Person Specification:
The Stories and Participation Officer is a fundamental cross-organisational role. Working directly with older people in financial hardship, the role will source, capture and collaborate to share stories, advice and insights from older people, whilst maintaining the highest level of stewardship and safeguarding for this group and supporting organisation wide participation activity.
Reporting into the Participation Manager, you will work champion and deliver meaningful involvement and authentic storytelling to ensure that the experiences of older people are at the centre of Independent Age’s work. You will ensure that participation processes maintain and develop our storytelling expertise and follow good-practice in the sector. The role will recruit and induct older people on a low income to our Lived Experience Network, alert them to opportunities to get involved in shaping and informing Independent Age’s work, facilitate two-way engagement, and work with willing members of the network to share their lived experience and insights, including sharing their story on public and private platforms.
You will need exceptional organisational skills and the ability to proactively drive lived experience work and effective storytelling. Strong verbal and interpersonal skills are essential, along with knowledge of best practice in supporting and co-ordinating lived experience participation including online and offline events, groups and meetings to create listening spaces.

Role Summary:
The Programme Development Officer is responsible for ensuring that The Girls' Network develops high-quality, consistent, and impactful programmes for girls and young women across all regions. Working closely with the colleagues in the Programme team, volunteers, and education establishments, the post-holder will support the development and continuous improvement of our mentoring, workshop, and ambassador offer. They will ensure that programmes are grounded in best practice and aligned to organisational strategy. We're looking for a skilled and motivated Personalisation Budget Performance and Insights Lead to oversee the performance, monitoring and continuous improvement of the Greater Change Personalisation Fund.
This innovative £1 million partnership between Birmingham City Council, Greater Change and Birmingham Voluntary Service Council (BVSC) aims to improve outcomes for people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or experiencing multiple disadvantage through personalised financial support.
You'll work closely with partners across housing, homelessness, health, criminal justice and the voluntary sector to ensure the fund is delivering real impact.
