We want a great Fundraiser

We are looking for an experienced and successful fundraiser who can secure income, build strong relationships and identify new opportunities. We welcome applications from people with backgrounds across the charitable sector, including arts and culture, health, education, environmental, community and other causes. A background in heritage is not required for this role, we are more interested in the skills, experience and expertise you can bring to the position.

Shape the future of a growing charity

This is a unique opportunity to become the first dedicated fundraising professional at the South West Heritage Trust and play a leading role in shaping our future as a charity.

We're looking for an ambitious fundraiser who wants more than simply delivering funding applications. You'll help build fundraising capacity across the organisation, develop new income streams, establish systems and processes, and influence how fundraising supports our long-term sustainability and growth.

Working closely with senior leaders and colleagues across the Trust, you'll develop funding opportunities that support ambitious exhibitions, learning programmes, collections projects and community initiatives. You'll have the opportunity to shape strategy, create new approaches and leave a lasting legacy within an organisation that is investing in fundraising for the first time.

Why Join us

· Be the Trust's first dedicated Fundraising Manager and shape a new function from the ground up.

· Help influence the future direction of a charity with an annual turnover of more than £5 million.

· Work across museums, archives, learning, communities and heritage projects with genuine social impact.

· Hybrid working arrangements available.

· 29 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

· Join a collaborative organisation recognised as a National Portfolio Organisation by Arts Council England.
