We are looking for a Director of Finance & Corporate Services to join the senior leadership team at this exciting stage in the charity’s journey.

This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in managing one of London’s most iconic green spaces and supporting the Trust as it delivers an ambitious programme of regeneration, heritage restoration and community-led cultural development.

The Role

As Director of Finance & Corporate Services, you will join the senior leadership team and have overall responsibility for finance, HR, digital, legal, risk and office management. Acting as Company Secretary, you will ensure compliance with Companies House and Charity Commission requirements, while providing robust financial leadership and high-quality advice to trustees, staff and stakeholders.

You will:

• Maintain strong financial controls, oversee budgeting, accounting and reporting.
• Lead on compliance, risk management and company secretarial duties.
• Manage HR and corporate services including recruitment, staff policies, payroll and office management.
• Oversee digital systems and lead special projects such as CRM development and office relocation.
• Line manage finance and administration staff and external suppliers.
• Contribute to the strategic leadership and growth of the Trust.

This is a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the Trust’s corporate services, supporting the delivery of regeneration projects and enabling the park to flourish as a cultural, ecological and community landmark.

About You

We are seeking a qualified and experienced finance professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for working in a charity setting.

You will bring:

• A recognised accounting qualification.
• Experience of charity finance, including SORP, restricted/unrestricted income and small group accounts.
• Experience of managing corporate services (HR, IT, legal, compliance).
• Strong financial systems knowledge (Xero desirable) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advise colleagues and trustees.
• A strong moral compass and a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

Content creation and content management

• Working with the Senior Communications Manager, research, draft, and edit compelling content for the UK website, newsletters, and print materials.
• Support the reimagining of existing content to ensure messaging is fresh, relevant, and audience-led.
• Collate and maintain a library of case studies, stories, and assets for use across teams.
• Ensure brand voice and tone are consistently applied across all communications.

Digital and organic social media

• Develop and maintain a social media content calendar which supports our Communications Strategy and liaise with our Social Media Freelancer to plan and approve posts.
• Contribute to the delivery of multi-channel campaigns, liaising with internal stakeholders and suppliers to create assets and meet deadlines.
• Assist with monitoring and reporting on content performance, identifying opportunities for growth and engagement.

Campaign coordination

• Support the planning and scheduling of communications campaigns like World Smile Day and advertising events like our annual carols concert.
• Manage feedback processes to ensure the timely delivery of content and materials.
• Act as the first point of contact for all content requests from across the organisation.

Administration and finance

• Collate quotes for expenditure and liaise with suppliers as required.
• Track invoices, ensuring coding is accurate and amounts match agreed quotes.
• Maintain organised systems for content workflows, approvals, and campaign schedules.

Monitoring and evaluation

• Gather engagement and performance metrics from all channels.
• Provide regular reports to the Senior Communications Manager.
• Suggest improvements to optimise performance and impact.

• Use data tools and insights to produce, shape and optimise digital information content.

• Make sure health content effectively meets the target audience’s needs by involving users in development and evaluation, including people living with Parkinson's and healthcare professionals.

• Be responsible for a number of projects at any one time, ensuring they are completed in a reasonable timeframe.

• Manage, monitor and act on feedback received on our print and digital health information.

• Experience of developing, writing and editing accessible health information for a variety of audiences.

About the role

As Senior Policy Officer you will be part of the Patient Advocacy team who work to ensure that the patient voice is heard and acted upon by UK and devolved nations healthcare policy decision makers. You will represent the charity externally including national meetings with senior healthcare decision makers.

Your role is vital to developing strategic approaches to health technology appraisals (HTA), regulatory pathways (MHRA), clinical development programmes (academic and industry clinical trials) and commissioning routes to broaden access to new myeloma drug therapies and diagnostic technologies.

You will apply your skills flexibly across key policy areas including access to treatment, patient voice, stakeholder engagement and general healthcare policy and work with colleagues in communications and fundraising to make sure our supporters and the wider myeloma community understand the positive impact we make.

About the Role

As Media Lead you will be responsible for running the charity's busy press office and you will play a central role in shaping how Victim Support is seen and heard in the media. You'll write and deliver a strategic Media Plan that positions the charity as a trusted and recognised victims' voice, increases the profile of our services and contributes to influencing positive change.

This is a hands-on role where you'll manage media enquiries, build trusted relationships with journalists and ensure our spokespeople are briefed and supported for interviews. You'll work closely with colleagues across external affairs, social media and frontline services, and provide expert media advice to senior leaders. You'll also line manage our Stories Officer and oversee our Stories Library, giving a platform to victims' voices and experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and run the Victim Support's press office.
• Provide quotes and comments to the media, and secure and manage interviews with VS spokespeople.
• Write and deliver the charity's Media Plan.
• Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, editors and producers.
• Oversee the strategic development and growth of the charity's Stories Library.
• Enhance and protect the charity's reputation.
• Increase the visibility of our services.
• Oversee the effective monitoring, reporting and evaluating of media activity.

You will have

• Experience of delivering media relations across print/online, broadcast and digital.
• Knowledge and understanding of how the media works.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience of writing and executing media plans.
• Self-motivation and the ability to thrive in a small team with a strong degree of autonomy.

About the Role 

This exciting opportunity is based at one of our Mary's Living & Giving shops in Wandsworth, South London – a neighbourhood known for its vibrancy, creativity, and strong sense of community.

This bright and colourful shop is busy all week and thrives especially during weekends, thanks to its high footfall and strong local support. You'll work alongside a diverse and committed team of 40 volunteers, leading them to achieve retail excellence while driving the shop's mission forward.

As a Store Manager, you will:
