Action for Children aims to deliver substantial growth from our high value audience over the next five years, with the Philanthropy and Trusts team playing a vital role in achieving that ambition, working together with other Income and Engagement teams. 

As Trusts Officer you will work to secure donations from trusts and foundations to deliver a wide range of organisational priority projects and services, also contributing to the development of the trusts pipeline to support the team’s growth strategy.

We are looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrable experience of securing four and five figure gifts from Trusts and Foundations.

• Work collaboratively and support the team to implement activities to deliver the Trust team’s financial aims with a responsibility for delivering an annual income target, focusing on securing four and five figure donations from charitable trusts and foundations.
• Initiate and develop long-term relationships with trusts and foundations.
• Develop and implement individual solicitation and stewardship plans for existing trusts and new prospects.
• Contribute to a communication and stewardship programme.
• Collaborate with fundraising colleagues to track and report on prospecting activities.
• Take responsibility for ensuring that fundraising partnerships with charitable trusts and foundations achieve their maximum potential. 
• Work with the Philanthropy, Trusts, and Prospect Development Managers to identify new prospects.

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide operational leadership and oversight of the Carers Manchester Volunteer Programme and support the wider development of the Volunteer Programme at Gaddum. Job Summary

Job Description

Catch22 is looking for a compassionate leader to join our growing Greater Manchester Victim Services as Deputy Head of Service. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the effective delivery of support for victims and witnesses as you help them on their journey to recovery.

Reporting to the Head of Service, you’ll provide line management to team leaders and administrators, implement systems for quality service delivery, and manage recruitment, training and supervision. You’ll work closely with police and other criminal justice partners to maintain strong referral pathways and ensure our services remain seamless and effective in its support for those that have experienced crime in the Greater Manchester area.

You will also contribute to strategic service development, quality assurance, safeguarding, and continuous improvement across the team. Your leadership will drive a culture of collaboration, learning and excellence.

Qualifications

The ideal post-holder will have:

A strong educational background, including English and Maths at GCSE level.

Proven experience managing and supporting teams in high-impact environments.

A track record of working with vulnerable individuals in multi-agency settings.

Confidence in performance management, risk assessment, and safeguarding practices.

Excellent communication, organisation, and IT skills.

A recognised management qualification or willingness to work towards one.

Knowledge of the victim and witness support system and a good understanding of the criminal justice landscape are highly desirable.

The Role:

Citizens Advice Knowsley is funded by the Money and Pensions Service to deliver debt and money advice.  We are looking to recruit a Project Central Debt Supervisor to provide Technical Supervision as part of Greater Merseyside Money Advice Partnership (GMMAP) Quality team to deliver high quality and effective debt advice and support the GMMAP central team. Summary

The key elements of the Operations Manager are:

1. Staff team management and development.

2. Oversight of operational management of Rainbow Haven premises.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Manage, Supervise and Support the Staff Team and Individual Staff Members.

1. Ensure Rainbow Haven provides a supportive working environment in which staff and volunteer well-being is prioritised, for individuals and the whole team.

2. Responsible for line management of operational staff and provide regular formal and informal support to individual staff members, ensuring they feel supported to do their work well, achieve their potential and are able to develop their skills and areas of responsibility through appropriate support, work reviews and training.

3. Support the whole staff team through team meetings, development days, whole team training, and team building activities.

4. Support those staff with responsibilities for overseeing work placements, volunteers and students to provide high quality supervision; promote and support further opportunities and experience for these team members.

5. Support the CO with the recruitment and selection of new staff members. Ensure appropriate employment contracts are in place and that these and other HR policies reflect current good practice.

6. Act as a deputy when the CO is absent from Rainbow Haven.

Monitoring and Evaluation

1. Oversee accessible monitoring and evaluation systems and develop these to ensure data and additional information can be collected and provided in various formats as required for all projects.

2. Review monitoring information to evaluate service delivery, service user trends and areas for development and build this into longer-term planning.

3. Ensure monitoring and evaluation information is collated and made available to staff, trustees, funders and partners as required.

Oversee the organisational Infrastructure to ensure Rainbow Haven maintains high standards of work practice and safety

1. Oversight of Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Data Protection and all other operational and workplace policies, ensuring that all staff and volunteers receive appropriate training, are aware of, understand and follow the policies.

2. Oversight of the operational running of Rainbow Haven premises.

3. Review Rainbow Haven policies, to ensure operational policies are kept up to date and revised within the correct timeframe.

4. Ensure all other legal and operational requirements are adhered to, including external an internal registrations, agreements and assessments and service contracts.

5. Maintain a good working relationship with the United Reform Church in its role as landlord, reporting maintenance issues, responding to their requests and addressing any concerns raised by them.

Partnerships Executive (Interim)

The Partnerships Executive plays a key role in developing CST’s commercial relationships. Their primary responsibility is to secure conference exhibition sales to meet budget targets and manage all aspects of the exhibitor experience from prospecting to on-the-day support, to post-event communications. They also manage listings in the Directory of Services and work closely with the Partnerships Manager to support the prospecting process.

Reporting to: Partnerships Manager

Key responsibilities

1. Ensure that exhibition sales targets are met for each CST conference.

2. Maintain the CRM for commercial organisations, including creating and managing prospect groups and executing effective exhibition sales campaigns.

3. Create and maintain relevant webforms.

4. Provide excellent end-to-end support for exhibitors, including in person at larger conferences to ensure that all exhibitors’ needs are met on the day.

5. Gather feedback from exhibitors on the quality of their experience and report on what worked well and areas for improvement following each event.

6. Maintain and update marketing collateral to support CST’s commercial activities such as brochures, floorplans, briefings and manuals.

7. Cross-promote the Directory of Services to exhibitors along with other opportunities to work with CST where relevant.

8. Manage the sales and onboarding process for the Directory of Services, including overseeing the references, undertaken by a third party, sending out agreements and liaising with the marketing team on the promotion of new suppliers.

9. Support the Partnerships Manager in the development of the commercial pipeline for CST partnerships by holding initial meetings with new prospects and identifying opportunities for engagement.

You will be responsible for the coordination of these areas of fundraising across multiple channels, as well as the administration and stewardship required to ensure engaging supporter journeys.

Labour Behind the Label (LBL) supports garment workers' efforts worldwide to improve their working conditions, wages, and ensure their basic rights are respected. We do this through lobbying retailers, brands and political leaders; raising public awareness; promoting campaign action; and exploring legal possibilities for improving conditions.
