We are looking for a committed and compassionate deputy service manager to lead our Enhanced support service. This is an opportunity to support women and children facing multiple barriers to safety and recovery, including survivors with insecure immigration status, experiences of homelessness or substance misuse. 

You will provide leadership in day-to-day service delivery, ensuring high standards of trauma informed support, safeguarding and risk management. You will supervise a team of dedicated front-line staff, promote reflective practice and help foster a culture of continuous learning.  You will also deputise for the Service manager and supporting wider service coordination as needed. 

This role is ideal for someone with experience in VAWG or community-based services who is ready to step into a management position. You will be supported to develop your leadership skills while helping to share inclusive, survivor centred service provision.

The Role

As a Retail Supervisor, you will support the delivery of our retail operations, starting at the Hyde Park Boat House and expanding to additional retail outlets.

Scope of role

The Debt Technical Supervisor is responsible for supporting Debt Advisers to ensure the delivery of accurate, effective, and tailored advice to over-indebted clients. This role involves conducting debt-advice interview observations, reviewing case files, and identifying training needs for advisers. The Debt Technical Supervisor provides real-time support and constructive feedback, helping advisers navigate complex cases and ensuring they have access to the necessary resources and information. Additionally, the role includes auditing delivery partner organisations to prepare them for external reviews and supporting them in meeting compliance and quality standards. The supervisor will collaborate with the Quality Assurance Manager to promote best practices, address risks, and contribute to the continuous professional development of advisers.

Key Responsibilities

Support Debt Advisers in their roles and ensure that the advice provided to over- indebted Clients is accurate, effective and tailored to individuals’ circumstances.

• Conducting debt-advice interview observations.
• Undertaking debt advice file reviews.
• Identifying advisers’ soft skill and technical training needs.
• Providing constructive feedback, and pastoral support, to advisers and their line managers.
• Providing real-time support to advisers, which will include but is not limited to providing guidance in complex matters and provide advisers with sources of information.

Support, and regularly audit delivery partner organisations, ensuring that they are prepared for external reviews of their service in line with the Grant Agreement.

• Ensure partner organisation are kept up to date with the requirements for external assessments.

• Escalating risks promptly and appropriately and contributing to wider monitoring and reporting requirements.

The Need

Millions of children are separated from their families, not because they have no one to care for them, but because of poverty, crisis, or a lack of support. Many end up in orphanages, yet removing a child from a struggling family does not solve poverty. It can deepen harm, sever vital family bonds, and leave children more vulnerable to instability, trafficking, and lifelong inequality. Our mission is to reduce the reliance on institutional care by supporting proven alternatives and advocating for systemic change.

What You’ll Do

 Advocacy & Policy Influence

• Lead the delivery of advocacy strategies to raise awareness about the benefits of family-based care and the harms of institutions, including orphanages
• Manage MJF Global’s advocacy partnerships, supporting joint campaigns and influencing initiatives
• Oversee project-based public affairs and PR efforts, coordinating with agencies, consultants and media stakeholders where needed
• Represent MJF Global in key coalitions, working groups, and sector events as required

Implement the communications strategy that aligns with our organisational goals

• Manage our editorial calendar across digital and offline channels, highlighting awareness days, partner updates and sector milestones
• Write and curate content for social media, newsletters, campaigns, and reports
• Oversee relationships with our design and web partners, ensuring consistency and quality

Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships

• Support MJF’s global marketing working group by co-coordinating with marketing leads across Key Assets

• Provide guidance to global partners, as requested/required, developing and implementing their own communications plans

Operational Comms & Tools

• Manage CRM platforms (e.g., MailChimp), website updates (WordPress), and file sharing (SharePoint and Google Drive)

• Lead quarterly reporting on communications and advocacy performance

What We’re Looking For

Essential

• An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) or your country equivalent certificate (can be obtained upon appointment)

Responsibilities

Press

• Field enquiries from stakeholders including journalists and police forces
• Write press releases and media statements and share these when appropriate via digital & social
• Support the team with the rewards process and promotion
• Draft assets for press
• Be part of the on-call rota system currently 1 week in 7 (training and support provided)
• Effectively manage Vuelio to manage the daily tagging, produce media reports demonstrating PR coverage for all campaigns in a timely way.

Digital

• Develop and update content for website news pages and social media platforms
• Spot trends and advise the team regarding innovative new ideas for PR & Media to share with the team

PR and Publications

• Produce, edit and distribute updates and materials for external and internal audiences, dealing sensitively with those whose personal experiences might be featured
• Provide communications support for regional managers along with other internal staff and teams in addition to police and business development campaigns

• To lead on editing, co-ordinating and organising the editorial, design and production of corporate publications

About the role:

As the Rural Housing & Infrastructure Enabler, you’ll work closely with local communities, parish councils and partners to enable the delivery of rural affordable housing and essential infrastructure that supports resilient, thriving villages. Job Purpose:

The Fundraising Manager (Grants & Trusts) will be responsible for developing and implementing a successful fundraising strategy focused on trusts, foundations, and statutory grants. They will identify new funding opportunities, build relationships with funders, and write compelling applications that align with St Bride Foundation’s mission and strategic priorities.

This role is crucial in securing core funding, project-specific grants, and capital funding, enabling us to expand our heritage, learning, and community engagement programmes.

This role will be closely involved in projects that, under our new vision and mission, aim to transform SBF into a contemporary institute serving the creative industries, researchers and the wider public. The role will suit someone with a passion to take on challenges with the aim of creating a cultural hub fit for the 21st century.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Grant & Trust Fundraising

• Develop and implement a revenue and capital fundraising strategy, identifying compelling propositions and packages, and setting and securing agreed targets.
• Research and identify trusts, foundations, and grant opportunities aligned with our mission.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of funding prospects, ensuring a strategic and proactive approach to fundraising.
• Write and submit high-quality, compelling funding applications for core, project, and capital funding.
• Track and meet application deadlines, ensuring compliance with funder requirements.
• Work with the Board of Trustees to establish and manage a Fundraising Committee.

2. Relationship Management & Stewardship

• Build and maintain strong relationships with grant funders, trustees, and key stakeholders.
• Prepare engaging impact reports, updates, and presentations for funders.
• Ensure timely and effective stewardship and recognition of funders, increasing long-term support.
• Building internal relationships to developing an understanding of the work/projects and funding needs.

3. Strategy & Income Growth

• Develop and implement a trusts and grants fundraising strategy, setting targets and KPIs to maximise income.
• Work as part of the Senior Management Team to align funding applications with strategic priorities.
• Identify opportunities for multi-year funding and partnerships that provide sustainable income.

4. Compliance & Reporting

• Prepare regular reports on fundraising activities, including progress towards goals, donor acquisition, and retention rates.
• Ensure all grants and funding received are managed effectively, with clear budgeting and financial reporting.
• Maintain up-to-date records of applications, funding received, and reporting deadlines.
• Work collaboratively with the Senior Management team to ensure effective grant delivery and reporting.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Several years of proven experience in trusts and grants fundraising, with a track record of securing funding from foundations, trusts, and statutory bodies.
• Strong research and prospecting skills, identifying the right funders for key projects.
• Excellent writing and communication skills, able to create compelling grant applications and reports.
• Experience in relationship management, with the ability to engage funders and maintain long-term partnerships.
• Ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of budgeting and financial reporting for grant-funded projects.
• Knowledge of the charity sector and fundraising best practices.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.

• Experience securing capital or heritage funding (e.g., National Lottery Heritage Fund).
