As the Marketing and Communications Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day delivery of our marketing and communications work. You’ll turn ideas into action, delivering engaging campaigns, compelling storytelling and consistent communications across all our channels. Working closely with the team across Become, external stakeholders and care-experienced young people to grow our reach, you'll build brand trust and strengthen our position as the national voice for care-experienced young people.

We're looking for someone with a strong background in digital marketing, an eye for design and a passion for amplifying young people’s voices. A natural collaborator, you’ll enjoy working in a dynamic environment that encourages proactive thinking, experimentation and ongoing learning.

Location

Our team work remotely from home, with some required in-person meetings (generally expected once or twice per month). In-person meetings usually take place in our office space in Old Street, London and Become covers the cost of travel within Great Britain for essential in-person meetings.

The Old Street office space is available for team members to work from if preferred/needed. For non-London based team members hot-desking options near you can be requested if required.

About the role

Alexandra Rose collects and uses a wide range of data to help us run our programmes, understand our impact and influence policy change. We have developed monitoring, reporting and evaluation systems that help us track programme delivery, make informed decisions and demonstrate the difference our work makes to the diets, health and wellbeing of adults and children. We are looking for a proactive and analytical Data and Insights Officer with a keen eye for detail, who thrives on improving data quality, analysing complex information and generating insights that support decision-making across an organisation. You will play a key role in improving Alexandra Rose's data systems and reporting. Working across programme and evaluation data, you will help clean and analyse data, develop dashboards and reports, generate insights for use both internally and for our external partners. You will work closely with our technical partner and distributing centres to ensure that data is reliable, our reporting is robust and our projects can continue to grow effectively.

Role purpose
The purpose of this role is to provide expert employment law advice and support to Citizens Advice Lewisham leadership and the wider organisation. The HR Lead will ensure the organisation maintains compliance with all employment law obligations, mitigate legal risks, provide specialist guidance on complex HR matters, and support the development of robust HR policies and procedures. Role overview 

Our Recruitment Team works closely with experienced professionals, helping them navigate a life-changing move into teaching and feel part of the Now Teach community from day one. 

As Recruitment Co-Ordinator will play a critical role in providing strong administrative support to the Recruitment Team in helping experienced professionals successfully transition into teaching, building high-quality pipelines of career changers who can make a lasting impact in schools and on pupils’ outcomes. 

In this role, success means providing an exceptional Now Teach experience ensuring all candidates are contacted within 48 hours, pre-screened accurately, consultations scheduled within desired timeframes, that accurate CRM data is maintained and that candidates feel supported and engaged throughout the early stages of our recruitment process. 

The role is highly candidate-facing and predominantly phone based, with much of your work time spent speaking directly with candidates to build relationships, provide advice, answer questions and ensure they receive a responsive, supportive experience from their first interaction with Now Teach.

We're looking for an exceptional content creator who understands the Ocean and knows how to make people care about it.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role with significant ownership. You will own content planning and community management across social media, web and newsletters. You'll be responsible for Ocean Generation's digital content and engagement, from deciding what stories we tell and how we tell them, through to creating, publishing, engaging with our community of 170,000+, analysing performance and improving what we do next.

We're a small, ambitious team on a mission to make Ocean Literacy accessible to millions of people. So, you'll need to be comfortable transforming Ocean science and educational programme outputs into compelling storytelling across social media, newsletters, and our website, taking the whole process from spotting an opportunity and developing the idea through to creating, publishing and owning the result.

We're particularly interested in people who already understand the Ocean or marine sector and have a proven track record of creating compelling social content.

Conditions

• Reports to: Co-Executive Director (Content & Engagement)
• Salary: £30,000–£32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
• Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract. As this is a new role, it is initially being offered on a fixed-term basis, with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent following review.
• Working Hours: This is a full-time role based on a 37.5-hour working week, worked across five days. We are committed to flexible working and operate core collaboration hours of 10am–4pm, Monday to Thursday. Outside of these core hours, employees have flexibility over when they work their remaining hours, subject to the needs of the organisation.
• Working Environment: Ocean Generation is a digital-first, home-based organisation, enabling us to maintain a geographically dispersed and diverse team while maximising our investment in our charitable aims. • Location: This is a remote role and candidates may be based anywhere in the UK. Main Responsibilities 

We are looking for highly motivated and organised individual to coordinate our accreditation scheme. The role will work with our network of employers, and support new organisations through the accreditation process. 

The Programme Officer will lead our work across the South West and support our managers to grow and deepen engagement with Living Wage Employers through our associated schemes. You will help to ensure our resources and publicity materials are well written and up-to-date, and to coordinate events to grow our employer network. 

Working as the Programme Officer for Citizens UK, reporting to a Programme Manager, your main responsibilities will include: 

Contribute towards the achievement of CUK and LWF’s strategic objectives

• Support key contacts at potential LW Employers through the accreditation process, from dealing with initial enquiries to guiding them through the employer journey, to checking and processing their accreditation 

• Develop rewarding relationships with key employers, industry, and campaign partners within our networks to build interest in the Living Wage and deliver a high-quality experience to our accredited employers 

• With support from the wider team, develop plans and strategies to grow the number of accreditations in specific regions or industries 

• Collate and disseminate Living Wage criteria and policy issues through both internal and external facing guidance, whilst reviewing and monitoring its suitability 

• Support the development and implementation of projects to promote and grow Living Wage accreditations and develop the quality of service offered 

Build and manage projects and achieve work targets effectively

Successfully progress projects and tasks incl. tracking performance and expenditure 

Deliver agreed areas of the LWF’s work plan and leading on agenda items to report into team meetings.

Support the growth and development of new and existing Living Wage schemes incl.  Recognised Service Providers, LW Funders, LW Places, Living Hours, Global Living Wage and Living Work Consultancy 

Deliver personal work targets on time and to standard: 

• Respond to telephone and web-based enquiries by providing advice and support to employers and supporters 

• Provide administrative support for all aspects of the accreditation journey, incl. processing accreditations, recognitions, and renewals

Person specification
