About the Role

The Diocese is seeking to appoint a new independent Chair to this important group, which oversees safeguarding policy, procedures, and practice across the Diocese. The Chair will lead a multi-agency panel that meets four times a year, with members also contributing to other time-limited safeguarding initiatives.

Working closely with the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser and senior diocesan leaders, the Chair will set the agenda for safeguarding accountability, oversee strategic risks, and offer advice that shapes diocesan safeguarding culture.

About You

You will bring extensive, current, or recent experience in safeguarding children, young people, and adults, ideally within a Church or wider faith-based context. You will have a strong track record of chairing complex, multi-agency safeguarding discussions or strategic forums, demonstrating sound judgment and the ability to navigate sensitive issues with authority and care.

Your deep commitment to the safety and well-being of children and vulnerable adults will be evident through your work. You will also be highly knowledgeable about safeguarding legislation, statutory guidance, and best practice, with the ability to apply this effectively in both strategic oversight and advisory roles.

Strong communication, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to provide independent challenge and support within a governance setting.

You will be sympathetic to the values of the Christian faith but not hold any current formal role in the Diocese.

About the Role

You will be responsible for offering infant feeding support for parents within Hackney borough community, within Family hub settings as well as in Homerton Hospital. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

· Providing breastfeeding support to families within family hubs settings within Hackney and on the wards at Homerton            hospital.

· Support in delivering inductions for volunteer peer supporters. 

· To report any concerns or additional support needs of women to the NCT management team and/or Infant Feeding                 Lead for referral onto partner agencies as appropriate.  

· To attend regular supervision/support sessions. 

· Having a good working knowledge and understanding of the local demographics in the Hackney area and ensuring all          support is accessible and inclusive.

· Ensure that data collection and feedback is collected in a timely manner in an inclusive way.

You must have good communication skills and be able to build relationships and create a rapport with a wide range of people easily. This is a large project and covers multiple locations so you must be able to confidently prioritise your own work, be highly organised and able to work independently.

Being able to make decisions and respond appropriately to our staff, peer supporters and parents and other external stakeholders is essential, alongside good IT skills– including Outlook, Word and Excel – and you must have good attention to detail.
 
It is essential for this post that you undertake the training to become an NCT Breastfeeding Peer Supporter. This requires experience of giving breast milk. The training can be undertaken within your working hours.

The role is 21 hours per week which will be predominantly Monday to Friday within the working day, however, will include occasional evening and weekends. This role is mainly based at family hubs setting across Hackney borough as well as in Homerton Hospital.

Ideal role for a company accountant / bookkeeper (must be at least AAT qualified) to manage the day-to-day accounts, as well as to contribute to the wider operations of this highly successful education provider that runs schools and teacher training using the Montessori approach.

Specifically, as Finance and Operations Officer, reporting to the Head of Finance and Administration (HoFA), your remit will include:

• accounts receivable/payable, credit control, reconciliations, and audit preparation;

Key requirements include:

• an understanding of facilities, health and safety, and data protection.

Equally important will be your excellent organisational skills; your initiative; a hands-on approach and a proven track record of seeing projects through to completion. Good oral and written communication skills are also key.

Experience within a school and / or not-for-profit organisation is desirable, albeit not essential. Experience with grant management processes would also be highly desirable.

About the Role

We are excited to be expanding our community approach for care experienced children and young people at Become. We have created this new post and are looking for a creative, welcoming coordinator to help us grow and meet the needs of our community. The postholder will coordinate the welcome experience, the community space, and the communications with the group. Role: An entry level administrative role in the Volunteer Recruitment & Training team

The Listening Place (TLP) is an award-winning charity which provides face-to-face, compassionate and non-judgemental support for people who feel that life is no longer worth living.
We opened our first site in Pimlico in 2016, and we now have three sites with 850 active volunteers.  We will be opening our 4th site near Liverpool Street in Autumn 2025. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Volunteer Recruitment and Training team as a full-time coordinator.  You will provide administrative support to the team, working closely with two other coordinators, to enable us to recruit and prepare volunteers to deliver our outstanding service for suicidal people.

We are currently recruiting a Partnerships Manager, for an exciting role with the community driven charitable foundation of a globally renowned sporting event.   

This charitable foundation provides grants and works with charity partners to provide opportunities and positive development for people from disadvantaged communities, tackling social issues, mental health, active lives and using the power of sport to develop life skills for young people. The foundation has a rich selection of programmes supporting needs locally, nationally and internationally, with a focus on the community based in South West London in particular.  

The role:  
This is a central role within the Foundation to manage, develop and maintain partnerships and programmes with national and international charities and corporate partners.

You will work with a diverse range of stakeholders, to manage multiple partnerships, oversee the delivery of programme activities and events and track and monitor the overall success of these partnerships. You will also work closely with the foundation team, and charity and corporate partners to identify new opportunities to develop and promote the partnerships. This will include designing and delivering programmes, events and activations that are mutually beneficial to all, as well as collaborating on materials, content and publications to promote the foundation’s partnership work.

Full time role, 35 hours per week.

Hybrid working, with usually three-days at the office in South West London.

The person:  
The ideal candidate will be highly skilled at relationship management, collaboration and problem solving with a strong track record of developing and managing partnerships and programmes across a variety of stakeholders, building relationships with existing and new contacts at all levels, including Board and senior management level. You will be accountable for creating and delivering against large scale partnership plans and developing new activities, events, and activations in in collaboration with existing partners. They are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of developing and delivering partnerships with charity/voluntary sector organisations as well as businesses.

Home-Start London is seeking a dynamic and driven Partnerships & Projects Coordinator to play a pivotal role in growing our impact across the capital. In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll work closely with our network of local Home-Starts, developing and managing partnerships and generating income to support and extend Home-Start services. Your work will directly help secure vital income and drive collaborative initiatives that ensure every child has the best possible start in life. What you’ll do:

• Proactively seek out, develop and manage new partnerships, generating income to support and extend Home-Start services
• Support the Operations Coordinator to manage existing consortia projects, ensuring quality and meeting targets
• Deliver timely reporting for internal and external stakeholders
• Lead on planning and delivery of network events, showcasing Home-Start’s work and impact for children and families
• Regularly engage with local Home-Start teams, from co-designing new projects to providing training and support with local fundraising efforts
• Work with HSL’s Communications Lead and local Home-Start teams to develop external communications that showcase Home-Start’s work, including content for website and socials
• Ensure compliance with partnership governance procedures, funding agreements, and internal policy
• Maintain accurate record keeping for all partnerships and projects
• Provide administrative support to the team, supporting efficient operations
• Manage volunteers as required, ensuring that they are happy, effective and well supported
• Any other duties that may be reasonably requested of the postholder

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

The Daniel Spargo-Mabbs Foundation is a drug and alcohol education charity that aims to support young people to make safe choices about drugs and alcohol and reduce harm. We do this through increasing understanding of the effects and risks, and helping to develop life skills and resilience. We are recruiting a Drugs Education Coordinator (Scotland) to join our team. This role will involve the coordination and delivery of DSMF drug education in Scotland, based in the Grampian region, working with the Head of Education and Engagement and Director to develop provision regionally and more widely.

Suitable candidates will:

• be passionate about supporting young people to make safer choices about drugs and alcohol
• have experience of developing and delivering drug and/or alcohol education in schools, colleges and/or the community
• have experience of working with young people, including a knowledge of substance use and its impacts
