About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Development, you will lead our public fundraising and supporter engagement activity, driving income growth across individual giving, community fundraising, events, challenges and supporter stewardship.

Position Overview 

The Development Manager role brings the opportunity to an avid fundraiser and resource mobilization professional to manage the strategic fundraising efforts of IFIP to build, sustain, and grow the organization’s institutional pool of funders by aligning development strategy with the organization’s mission, goals, key programs, and initiatives. This position plays a critical role in enhancing our sustainability efforts through identifying, cultivating, soliciting, grant writing, and securing funding support in accordance with IFIP’s strategic framework.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Development Manager works collaboratively with senior management, staff, and consultants to ensure sustainability goals are achieved. The Development Manager cultivates prospects, sustains relationships, creates proposals and reports for funders to illustrate impact and spends most of their time engaging with prospective funders and supporters through both virtual and in-person interactions. 

The ideal candidate is a skilled fundraiser and a relationship builder with a strong understanding of philanthropic giving. They should be proactive and strategic, with a proven track record of securing mid-to-large multi-year funding, nurturing donor relationships, and effectively communicating the organization's mission and impact. Familiarity and commitment to IFIP's mission is essential. Experience working remotely and across multiple time zones is an asset. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Fundraising and Resource mobilization  

• Develop a comprehensive multi-year development strategy, including developing related guidelines and policies and ensure IFIP secures annual revenue goals.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with funders and other donors, including foundations and other funders. 

• Responsible for the development, writing, and submission of compelling grant proposals. Manages full lifecycle of grants, from proposals to reports, ensuring fundraising goals are met annually. 

• Able to skillfully navigate donor relationships and the philanthropic landscape with nuance, big picture, and keen understanding of the shifting trends and perspectives.

• In coordination with senior leadership, organize, prepare and attend donor meetings and convenings in support of strategic initiatives. 

• Develop strategic fundraising initiatives, including events and campaigns and identify new opportunities for resource mobilization. 

• Develop, manage, and execute comprehensive fundraising plans that align with the organization’s goals, programs, and initiatives. 

• Coordinate with leadership on restricted gifts, proposal budgets with restricted allocations, and financial reporting to donors. 

• Establishes and maintains collaborative working relationships with IFIP’s team and consultants to maximize total revenue in service of the organization’s mission

• Collaborate with the Engagement and Communications team to enhance visibility and donor messaging efforts through our newsletters and communications platforms.

• Utilize a CRM for data collection, relationship management, and tracking donor interactions. 

• Manages information-tracking processes regarding acknowledgement, recognition, ongoing communication and continued cultivation of donors in portfolio.

Organizational Culture and Team Collaboration 

• Partner with the CEO to ensure IFIP’s strategy is reflected across fundraising plans, funder engagement and partnerships. 

• Foster a collaborative, results-driven, and accountability culture that empowers the IFIP team to deliver organizational goals effectively. 

• Contribute to a culture of teamwork by fostering collaboration and support of each other to accomplish tasks at hand, the annual work plan, and overall mission. 

• Bring a learning, attention to detail, initiative taking disposition and participate in organization-wide strategy and learning and contribute to operations efficiency to grow as an organization. 

• Able to adapt and excel in a multi-cultural and fast paced environment where team members take part and contribute to planning activities, including staff meetings, retreats, and strategy sessions. 

• Provide support when needed on organization-wide activities, such as Global Conference and high-level stakeholder events. 

• Adhere to organizational policies and procedures and responsible for own administrative tasks such as submission of receipts, reimbursement requests, scheduling, travel planning, etc. 

• Embody and uphold the 5 R’s (Respect, Relationships, Responsibility, Reciprocity, Redistribution) in working with external stakeholders and internal team members. 

Required Experience and Qualifications: 

• At least 8 years of experience in the development and resource mobilization sector. 

• At least 3 years of experience working in an international remote work environment with a multi-cultural team 

• Experience building partnerships and securing funding from bilateral and multilateral donor agencies is an asset 

• Track record of garnering new donors and substantial levels of funding per year

• Demonstrated experience in developing fundraising strategies and plans and excellent donor relations skills.

• Familiarity with donor database tools to track grants and donor relationships 

• Exceptional organizational ability, high attention to detail, results and solutions-oriented attitude are essential.

• Problem-solver, with high integrity and ability to communicate clear expectations and foster team collaboration. 

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills in written and oral forms and ability to articulate complex ideas effectively to diverse audiences. 

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 

• Solid information technology proficiency with CRMs, remote meeting software, Microsoft Office Suite, and cloud systems for project management. 

• Experience travelling internationally to urban and rural areas where English may not be the primary language.

• Fluency in English.Fluency in a second language is an asset.

Job details: This is a full-time, remote position based in the greater London area. Employee may spend up to three weeks a year in Sacramento, CA for strategic planning and team building. IFIP's team, board, members, and stakeholders are based worldwide and distributed across multiple time zones. This role is based in London and follows UK working hours; however, occasional flexibility will be required for early morning or late evening meetings with colleagues around the world. Candidates must be based in the greater London area and be authorized to work in the United Kingdom.

The money raised through this role will support Boaz’s work with people who are facing or experiencing homelessness because of their insecure, changing or uncertain immigration status. Day to day, you will research prospective funders, prepare persuasive applications and cases for support, and produce accurate, engaging reports showing what funders’ support has achieved. About the Role

The Nightingale Navigator supports the loved ones of male survivors through the Nightingale Project. Recognising that sexual harm can affect partners, family members and others close to a survivor, the role provides therapeutic group and community-based support, alongside psychoeducation about trauma and its wider impact. This includes helping loved ones understand the criminal justice process and working with health, social care and other partner agencies to ensure they receive coordinated support. The Navigator also brings the experiences, needs and wishes of loved ones into the continued development of the Nightingale Project.

You’ll be someone who understands that sexual harm can affect not only survivors, but also their partners, family members and other people close to them. You’ll be comfortable talking about trauma and able to provide compassionate, practical and non-judgmental support through group work, community activities and partnership working. The OUT Side OUT Spoken Navigator supports male survivors and survivor allies as they prepare to leave prison or another secure setting and rebuild their lives in the community. The role provides intensive, trauma-informed support shaped around each person’s individual circumstances, including completing risk and needs assessments and developing a tailored support plan. You’ll help people navigate challenges around housing, healthcare, benefits, employment and community connections, working closely with prison, probation, health, social care and other partner agencies. The aim is to reduce barriers; strengthen stability and ensure people continue to feel supported throughout the transition from custody into the community.

You’ll have experience of providing one-to-one support or advocacy to people with complex needs and be comfortable working with trauma, risk and the challenges that can accompany release from custody. Experience within criminal justice, mental health, housing, social care or community services would be particularly helpful, as would an understanding of sexual harms affecting boys and men. You’ll be able to build trusting relationships while maintaining clear professional boundaries, manage competing priorities and work confidently with a range of partner agencies. About the Role

The Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner provides trauma-informed, low-intensity psychological support to male survivors of sexual harms. Working within a flexible and person-centred model, the PWP helps clients understand the impact of their experiences and access practical, evidence-based interventions that support their wellbeing and recovery. The role maintains high standards of clinical governance, records interventions accurately and ensures each client receives safe, responsive and effective therapeutic support.

About You

You’ll be comfortable supporting people affected by trauma and able to provide structured, evidence-based psychological interventions within a flexible and person-centred approach. Head of Support and Advocacy

The Head of Support and Advocacy provides operational leadership across We Are Survivors’ support and advocacy services. Working closely with the Service Director, Operations Director and Executive Team, the role ensures services are effective, well governed and meet the needs of survivors and their loved ones. This includes overseeing our trauma-informed, survivor-centred approach; monitoring service performance; safeguarding and record-keeping; and ensuring contractual commitments and quality standards are met. You’ll be an experienced operational or clinical leader who is comfortable overseeing services that work with trauma, mental health and complex needs. The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will work closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider organisation, supporting a broad range of accounting and financial control activities. In this role, you will gain exposure to cashflow and treasury, balance sheet control, fixed assets, audit, VAT and tax, insurance, credit control and regulatory reporting.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Producing daily cash position reporting and supporting effective treasury and cashflow management.
• Completing bank reconciliations, investigating variances and ensuring transactions are accurately recorded.
• Supporting the preparation and maintenance of cashflow forecasts, including deposits and short-term investment balances.
• Supporting balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring balances are accurate, complete and appropriately evidenced.
• Assisting with fixed asset and lease accounting, including additions, disposals, depreciation, provisions and reconciliations.
• Maintaining accurate intercompany balances and resolving differences promptly.
• Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end audit, including working papers, audit requests and statutory disclosures.
• Preparing and supporting the submission of quarterly VAT returns and assisting with wider tax compliance requirements.
• Providing support across credit control and income processes, including monitoring aged debt and helping resolve queries.
• Contributing to continuous improvements across finance processes, systems and controls.

About you:

We are looking for someone with previous experience working within a finance or accounting environment, ideally with exposure to reconciliations, cashflow, month-end, audit or other operational finance processes.

You may be AAT qualified, approaching the final stages of ACCA, CIMA or ACA, or have equivalent experience. A good understanding of VAT and tax compliance is essential, while knowledge of financial controls, accounting standards and balance sheet accounting would be advantageous.

You will need:

• Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in producing accurate, well-controlled work.
• Is confident reconciling and analysing financial information and investigating discrepancies.
• Can manage multiple priorities and work effectively to month-end and audit deadlines.

The Role

• Driving the period close process for income and payroll-related areas, reviewing actuals, trends and exceptions and resolving issues promptly.
• Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, including deferred income and income provisions.
• Working closely with Payroll to ensure salary-related accruals and adjustments are accurately reflected within the accounts.
• Supporting budget holders and Finance colleagues with income and payroll queries, helping to identify root causes and reduce recurring issues.
• Providing cover and support around billing, income processing and cash collection, helping maintain resilient processes across the team.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, with a focus on getting things right first time and reducing manual entries at month and year-end.
• Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end audit, producing high-quality working papers and responding to auditor queries.

About you:

You will have a good understanding of income recognition, accruals, deferred income, provisions and payroll-related costs, alongside practical experience of balance sheet reconciliations and period close activities. Previous involvement in audit processes and preparing audit evidence or working papers will also be important.

Beyond your technical expertise, you will be proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to financial accuracy.

You will need:

• Studying towards or already hold a professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA

We are looking for a Medical Procurement and Logistics Coordinator to strengthen the way we procure, manage and move essential medical supplies and equipment for our humanitarian programmes and emergency responses.

Based primarily at our Manchester warehouse, you will provide dedicated capacity across our Procurement and Warehouse teams, coordinating the full supply-chain pathway from purchasing and receipt through to storage, stock management, shipping and dispatch.

With a particular focus on pharmaceuticals, medical consumables and medical equipment, you will help maintain accurate, compliant and deployment-ready stock. Working closely with our Supply Chain Manager, Warehouse Manager and Pharmacist, you will support the day-to-day operational management of medical commodities while ensuring appropriate pharmaceutical standards and controls are followed.

We’re looking for an organised and solutions-focused supply-chain professional with experience across procurement, inventory management, warehousing or logistics. You will be confident working with suppliers, maintaining accurate stock and procurement records and coordinating activities across different teams. Experience handling medical supplies, pharmaceutical products or equipment would be particularly valuable.

The role requires approximately 15% international travel and deployment—normally around six to eight weeks per year. During deployments, you may support procurement, warehouse and stock management, international shipping, distribution and emergency resupply, working closely with clinical, logistics and programme colleagues.
