As Volunteer Training and Support Officer, you will help create welcoming, well-organised learning spaces that enable volunteers to feel confident, supported, and connected in their role. You will coordinate training logistics, prepare materials and resources, support volunteer recruitment and onboarding, and ensure the smooth administration of the programme.

Working within the Volunteering Team and the wider team, you will help our volunteer programme grow and thrive within the communities we serve.

This role would suit someone who enjoys bringing people together, building relationships, and ensuring that the practical details behind a programme run smoothly.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience coordinating training sessions, events or similar activities.
• Is confident managing administrative processes, logistics, and records.
• Enjoys building relationships with volunteers and community partners.
• Communicates clearly, warmly, and with empathy.
• Understands trauma-informed, inclusive and culturally responsive practice.
• Can work both independently and collaboratively within a small team.
• Is organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Desirable: experience working with volunteers or supporting marginalised communities; ability to speak a community language such as Bengali, Urdu, Romanian or Polish.

We have an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and proactive individual to join Big C as a Health Academy Support and Information Officer. This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll support the delivery of activities and services that make a real difference to people affected by cancer across our community.

About the role
As part of our small Health Academy team, you’ll work closely with the Health Academy Lead, Nutritionist and Physical Wellbeing Facilitators to deliver a range of wellbeing activities and events. From supporting programmes like Get Moving, Walking Football and Fishing for Wellbeing to attending community events, your work will help promote healthier lifestyles, encourage behaviour change, and raise awareness of cancer prevention and early detection.

You’ll also be a welcoming and supportive point of contact for our service users, offering practical support, listening, and guidance, while helping to ensure services are delivered safely, effectively, and in line with best practice. Alongside this, you’ll support the smooth running of the team through administration, data collection, and collaboration with colleagues, volunteers, and external partners.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of Health Academy activities, wellbeing programmes, and external events
• Provide a warm, supportive point of contact for service users, offering information, guidance, and signposting to appropriate services
• Assist in assessing and responding to service user needs, working within agreed policies and under appropriate supervision

The King’s Trust is looking for a passionate and experienced Safeguarding Advisor to join our national Safeguarding Team on a maternity cover basis. This is a vital role where your expertise will help protect and promote the safety and well-being of young people aged 11 to 30, with a particular focus on those aged 18 to 25. Working at the heart of the organisation, you will handle safeguarding referrals, manage cases and work closely with colleagues across the Trust to ensure young people are supported at the right time and in the right way.

You will be a trusted point of contact for a designated region, offering clear, confident advice and building strong relationships with delivery teams and external agencies. Alongside case management, you will contribute to investigations, deliver safeguarding training and play an active role in shaping and improving safe practice across the Trust. About the Project 

Our A and E Link Workers help adults access alternative mental health crisis support, including our Nightlight Crisis Service. We focus on providing a calmer, quieter environment away from the hospital when it’s needed.

The objectives of Hertfordshire Mind Network’s (HMN) A&E Liaison Service are to: 

• Improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental health crisis in Hertfordshire. 
• Increase timely access to help for people experiencing mental health crisis in Hertfordshire, by providing a clear and effective pathway to services provided by HMN and other third sector and statutory providers. 
• Contribute to an improvement in individual mental wellbeing. 
• Remain a source of independent support for all clients. 
• Provide an alternative pathway to people in distress and crisis to support better outcomes and reduce the demand on statutory crisis services, emergency services and A&E departments. 

About the Role: 

The Mental Health A&E Link worker will work closely with individuals in a mental health crisis currently in A&E, by using a person-centred approach to ensure that everyone is supported with dignity and respect. 

They will encourage and facilitate positive steps towards management of crisis and recovery; through providing emotional support, signposting and completing onward referrals into mental health support. They will work closely with A&E clinical staff, integrated discharge teams, Bounce Back, and mental health liaison teams, to proactively identify referrals into the crisis alternatives service to facilitate timely discharges from A&E.

Victim Support is seeking a committed and detail-focused Team Leader to help coordinate and maintain excellent support for witnesses within the busy Court environment at Staines Magistrates Court. Main Duties

1. To provide a wide range of organisational and administrative duties to the Business Development and Casework teams as directed, in order to facilitate smooth running of all business systems and operations, ensuring that administrative activities are carried out in accordance with company policy and procedures.

2. Providing operational support to Business Development team, including setting up new cases on CRM system, setting up client contracts, arranging consultations and liaising with Business Development and Casework colleagues to ensure the smooth running of business services.

3. Managing various email inboxes, triaging incoming messages and responding to emails from clients and professionals.

4. Requesting care and/or clinical records, following up on record-requests, checking and processing incoming digital and hard copy records ready for the casework team.

5. Providing operational support to the new client pipelines including processing voicemail enquiries and incoming referrals from the Information and Advice teams.

6. Operating and maintaining CRM, database and filing systems.

7. Providing accurate formatting support to the Casework team, in line with Beacon’s brand guidelines.

8. Supporting the casework team with case administration including requests for records and printing and posting letters.

9. Collecting, processing and distributing post.

10. Supporting the organisation of travel arrangements for Caseworkers.

11. Sharing the general administration of the business as part of the Operations team, including managing stationary stock levels and ordering literature and supplies.

12. Keep operating procedures under review to identify areas of potential development and / or improvement and make recommendations.

13. Attending line management, supervision and team meetings as appropriate.

What is NHS Continuing Healthcare?

NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) is the name given to a package of care that some people need to receive due to disability, accident or illness. People who are eligible for CHC have the full cost of their care and residential accommodation funded by the NHS. This relieves families of sometimes astronomical care bills.
