As a Team Leader, you will manage a team of support workers to successfully enable the people we support to lead a fulfilled and meaningful life within their home and as part of the wider, local community, and lead the staff team by promoting and practicing the values of CVT.
You will hold a minimum of Level 3 NVQ/ QCF (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care, and will have worked in a health and social care setting for a minimum of two years, preferably with people who have a learning disability and/ or autism, and has experience of managing a staff team. A driving licence would be useful as the community can be difficult to access by public transport.

Location: The role is based at Oaklands Park, a 150-acre rural community situated near Newnham on Severn on the edge of the Forest of Dean. We offer opportunities for adults with learning disabilities and other support needs, who live and work within a beautiful location, where their contributions to the life of our community are valued. Our estate offers an eight-acre garden, wood workshop and a weavery/ craft workshop.
Hours: 2 roles available, 1 x 30 hours per week and 1 x 37.5 hours per week, generally Mon - Fri days, but we are flexible.
Salary: £25,740 - £29,367 FTE, dependent on skills and experience pro rata for part-time.

Main responsibilities
- Supervise, direct and guide the staff team in a way that will enable the people we support to have the best quality of life possible.
- Ensure the health, safety, development and happiness of the people we support is paramount at all times.
- Ensure there are monthly team meetings, quarterly supervisions, twice yearly medication competencies and observations of practice along with a yearly annual review.
- Complete the induction of new staff within the service and support them through their probationary period.
- Undertake any other duties which are consistent with this post, as directed by line management.

About the Role
As an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will provide pro-active, high quality, frontline service to victims of domestic abuse through on-going risk assessment, providing individual safety planning, trauma-informed support, guidance, information, and advocacy and enabling victim/survivors to access the services they need in the aftermath of the abuse and trauma they have experienced.
You may work within a Hospital Trust's Safeguarding Team to support both patients and staff in an Acute Hospital setting, who have experienced Domestic Abuse. You will make initial contact with victims of domestic abuse, explaining our services and assessing the impact of crime, or receive referrals from colleagues, in order to provide on-going support and case management.

We are looking for a part-time Membership Officer, who will be working alongside our existing part-time Membership Officer. Together, you will lead on administrative support of our membership functions. Reporting to our Operations Manager, the post holder will be responsible for the administrative functions that support the smooth running and ongoing success of the organisation around membership. Brighton & Hove Speak Out is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Project Coordinator to lead the development of the Learning Disability Voices Network (LDVN) across West Sussex.
This is an exciting new role for someone who believes in the power of self-advocacy and wants to support people with learning disabilities to have their voices heard, influence decision-making and create positive change in their communities.
Working alongside self-advocates, colleagues and community partners, you will help establish and grow user-led self-advocacy training and support groups across West Sussex, supporting people to take on leadership roles, and strengthen a county-wide movement for inclusion, participation and rights.
About the role
You will lead the development of self-advocacy opportunities across West Sussex, including:
- Establishing new self-advocacy groups in the Bognor & Chichester and Mid Sussex areas.
- Supporting self-advocates with learning disabilities to deliver self-advocacy training to other people with learning disabilities in West Sussex.
- Supporting a Project Worker with the continued growth of the existing SpeakAbout Worthing group.
- Supporting self-advocates to identify issues that matter to them and take action through campaigning, awareness-raising and influencing activities. - Building strong relationships with community groups, service providers and key local stakeholders.

This role will help us achieve our ambition by working as part of a team within supported housing and outreach services in Greater Manchester, providing high-quality, personalised housing-related support and enablement support to adult clients.
We're looking for someone who can help clients live independently in accommodation suited to their needs and successfully maintain their home. You'll support clients to develop the skills, confidence and resilience needed to access education, training, employment and meaningful community activities. You'll also help clients achieve financial stability, maintain healthy lifestyles and work towards their individual goals.
In this role, you will be responsible for
- Using coaching and strengths-based approaches to help clients develop emotional resilience, overcome barriers and take greater control of their lives.
- Building positive relationships with clients and supporting them to achieve the outcomes identified within their support plans.
- Liaising with external agencies and professionals and raising safeguarding concerns appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Completing and maintaining Support Plans, Positive Behaviour Plans, Essential Profiles and Risk Assessments.
- Supporting the delivery of high-quality housing management, housing-related support and enablement activities within the service.
- Working as part of a supported housing team to provide personalised support to young adults, including those with ADHD, ASD and substance misuse support needs.
- Managing a caseload of clients, with workloads determined by client needs and service demand.
We need people who have
- Knowledge and understanding of the needs of vulnerable adults and individuals with complex support needs.
- Knowledge of issues affecting clients, including behaviour management, mental health, leaving care and neurodiversity.
- Understanding of safeguarding, risk management and professional boundaries.
- Experience of working within a supported housing environment or relevant health and social care setting.
- Experience of supporting young people and vulnerable adults with complex needs.
- Experience of working with statutory agencies and voluntary sector organisations.
- Strong communication, record-keeping, organisational and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to work independently, use initiative and manage a varied caseload.
It would be advantageous if you have:
- Experience of working within supported housing services.
- Knowledge of legislation and best practice relating to housing support, safeguarding, ADHD, ASD, learning disabilities and substance misuse.
- A qualification in Health and Social Care or a related subject.

About the Role

You will respond to incidents, manage safeguarding concerns and provide practical and emotional support when residents need it. You will also help new residents settle into the service, maintain accurate records and complete essential health and safety tasks.
Working as part of a close and supportive team, your responsibilities will include:
· Maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment overnight

· Helping new residents settle into the service

About You
You may have experience within supported housing, homelessness, social care, youth work, security or another care and support environment.
You will be calm, resilient and confident working overnight, including responding to challenging or unexpected situations. You will communicate clearly, maintain professional boundaries and treat every resident with dignity and respect.
You will also be organised, dependable and able to work independently while contributing positively to a close-knit team.
